I like the search engine. I don't like the way you can't send a gift (i. E. no message and no way to hide prices). It's easy to get "trapped" in chechout and harder to get back out.

I emailed about a book I was interested in getting- I waited half a day with the book in my cart waiting to hear from someone but never received an email. I went to my cart and book was not in cart - then noticed the book went up 4.50

Shopping for books through alibris is a pleasure! I have found so many books on this site that were not available in my local library. Sellers provide excellent detailed descriptions of their used copies, so prospective buyers know the exact condition of a book before making a purchase. Alibris is the best online marketplace for new and used books.
