Found the book I wanted by a British author that my library did not carry. The book arrived in an appropriate amount of time and was in very good condition.

I tried paying through PayPal. PayPal snet a confirmation that the sale had gone through, whilst Alibris presented me with a message that they couldn't accept payment via PayPal and to choose the other payment method. The PayPal transaction is showing against my credit card as a pending transaction.
