Hadn't realised that shipping was calculated separately for each seller, as initially didnt realise books were all from different sellers.
Also, I autofilled the wrong credit card number, and then it was very difficult to change it... (but that may be my chrome browser)
I first found this book for 17 Euros but when I returned to it, after looking at other offers, its price had risen to 25 Euros, and the 17 Euros copy was still there but not clickable, although I tried many times. Also, I was not aware that the book would be coming from the US (which is fine with me). There is no mention on how Covid impacts deliveries outside of the UK. The wording you use seems like everyone is selling or importing books from/to the UK, but there exists trade outside of the UK. At least that's what I've heard:-)

Tried to use a voucher (READ / MORE) when checking out, but website refused to accept since voucher was supposedly expired. However, voucher says valid until 12 July 2024 (today is 1 July 2024)!
Rather confusing account management: instead of updating my email address I now have two accounts: one with the old email address (which doesn't exist anymore) and on with my new email address (*******@freedom.nl) that I can't access because it doesn't recognize my password...
The filter options don't work very well so it's very hard to browse in the right sections. Also moving an item to your wishlist/basket shouldn't take you to that page, makes it very tedious to move a lot of items.
Alibris always delivers on time and as expected and as prices change it is always worth a trip back, I have found issues at under 10 pounds only to be able to sell months later at over £250 and of course some I will not sell I have been offered over £1000.
It usually works quickly though took 3 goes before noticed the expire date wrong so read carefully all info LOL

I picked the wrong type of credit card when checking out, you deleted all the information and made me fill it in again. This was a pain in the arse. Literaally the only thing wrong was visa instead of mastercard, but you forced me to retype and recheck a 16 digit number. Utterly unnecessary

I have been waiting for 2 months the book I ordered via Alibris and, besides the support I received from the Customer Service, I thought to get at least a bonus coupon to reorder the same item at a discounted price. In fact, it should be taken into consideration, that for two months I haven't had the chance to use the book because it wasn't delivered. Additionally, it must be possible to track the delivery of a purchased item: for any kind of reason, this was not enabled and I could not follow my book's delivery status. Overall, very disappointing. Nevertheless, I placed an order again of the same book via Alibris UK and got good assistance from the Customer Service.

Very quick simple and straightforward what a great service!
The site glitched out and removed everything in my cart when i tried to remove one item. Then, when i tried to re-add the items i'd lost, some were no longer available. When i tried to check out, the items that had glitched out from my initial cart had been re-added. After i removed those items, i tried to use the voucher code, and it said it was not valid, even though my order was above the amount of money i needed to spend for it to be valid. I paid full price without the code because i didn't want to lose my cart to a glitch again.
