I had complained about postage not being quoted accurately on the final screen before an order is confirmed.
By contrast, ordering a different book on alibris.co.uk today, *******, it was quoted correctly.
It seems that you have an issue to sort out. Please do it without further reference to me; it is not my job to re/build your website.

You twice took an order for a book then later refused it and this is now the third bloody attempt.
You owe me the standard admin charge from this end of £25 per occasion on which a retailer fouls up on an order for one book (every occasion after the first, which makes £25 due. This is in cash not kind)
Very easy to order and pay for purchase. First time I've Alibris I think
Always enjoy using alibris.co.uk website for buying books!
Easy checkout and good to see star rating of different sellers so I can choose reliable one!
Easy. No need to create an account, which I appreciate – although the option to easily do so at the end of the ordering process was offered, which I also appreciate and on this occasion took advantage of. Thanks!
Really annoying
When trying to add zip/postcode it does not accept Letters. British postcodes are alphanumeric. US zips numeric. Pasting alpha numeric only leaves numeric. And only numeric keyboard Really bad software coding.
Shipping is very expensive and I also have experiences being told that a book are availeble, only to learn that it was not. This is not the way I like to do business.

I like to buy used books, but I think the price for shipping is hard to accept.

Its the first time I have used Alibris and I have to say I hesitated before entering my payment details. The site looks quite old and basic which made me less trusting of how secure the payment would be.
Very good, though there were sections of registering a new account that were slightly clunky to wade through - got there in the end though. Checked the overall reviews and ratings on Alibris and was very impressed.
I ordered a different edition of this same book from WeBuyBooks a few days back and received a cancellation message since the supplier did not have it in stock. Why didn't they simply check to see if they had another edition of the book and propose that book to me instead? It would have been cheaper than having to make a separate order, and it would have saved me the time of doing their work for them.
You advertised a promo code offer saying that I would get £3 off if my order totalled over £25. My order totalled £26.90, but when I tried to apply the promo code to receive my £3 reduction, I was informed that my order was not in fact over £25 and therefore I was not eligible for the promo code offer. I entered it twice but got the same answer each time. Fortunately I wanted the book anyway, but that kind of treatment - it felt close to a swindle - does leave a sour taste in the mouth. AW
I am so fed up with websites that change my 'Delivery' or 'Billing' information to something else AFTER I've entered it CORRECTLY. I had to enter details 3-4 times to get both categories (in different countries) to be how they needed to be. I AM so sick of taking over an hour to order 2 books. These glitches have happened largely at at Used Book bookstores! What is it? Driving me mad! Next time, I'll pay full price and give my business to Waterstones!
Certain popular books that I searched for were overpriced and the price of shipping is a joke. Why is there a separate shipping charge for each book even when it's from the same retailer? I didn't have a choice as I need these books for school.
It was a bit odd - a day or so ago I put this volume in my basket, but when I logged in, it had disappeared!
I'm glad to have found that it has returned to your site and I have been able to complete this purchase.
Not sure what I'm looking for sometimes. A few more suggestions might be more helpful. I guess there are limits to what you can do. I would prefer not to be shown books from the US. I almost always prefer to buy in the UK only
The website is very barebones. It feels like you tried to copy eBay's standard model but couldn't bring yourself to implement it fully for fear of having to change it so you just made it actively worse to use and worse to look at. It's like when you would copy your work off a friend in school and you couldn't use the words they used even though those words are the ones that are necessary to get across the correct message so you just deliberately make yours slightly worse so as to show "Hey if I were to copy, I'd have copied it well and not made it look this bad" that way it's more believable. But this website is not equivalent in value to a copied piece of schoolwork because the copied essay on history at least will get all the correct points and may even get a B if they're lucky, the website however has no pass/fail and would most likely benefit greatly from having an original and engaging user interface bringing in more sales. But hey that's just me and hey you did ask so...
I tried to order a book via your mobile site. However here I was not able to enter the post code for my address as only numbers were allowed in the field. However, in the UK we also have letters. I had to switch to a computer to be able to finish this order.
Really horrible payment process, shipping on separate page to billing, doesn't go on to either of those automatically, have to hunt to find that, horrible, time wasting, would choose to buy elsewhere if possible just coz of this
No further comment at this time. I may comment further when I have received the book
Tried repeatedly to enter last three digits on card, eventually successful - given my computer skills almost certainly my fault?
