I have multiple occasion bad experience with alibaba. In both cases supplier is willing to provide full refund due to defective product but, alibaba close the case without refunding money, Alibaba don't have any no phone number or email to have any communication with alibaba. Worse part is they don't have any office here in Canada or USA. Feels like they are trying to protect their Chinese supplier

I am a Japanese retailer. It is difficult to sell cheaply at Japanese wholesalers. However, Alibaba has a variety of items. And we sell it at a low price.
Very convenient and easy to connect with suppliers.

Trade Assurance is a gimmick used to trick buyers into trading thru Alibaba! Ripoff, scam. Was shipped equipment that didnot work, then given a 2 month runaround, then i was disqualified as to a claim! Hateful! Deceiving people at Alibaba!

Their seller confirmed that to deliver a printer to my door in 20-23 days. It was 4 and half months ago. Still no sign of the printer. They says they can offer only their fee (100 USD) as Trade Assurance. Paid 3K for the printer and for the delivery. Don't buy anything from here more than by you can loose! There is no real buyer protection on anything!

With long lead items, I turned to alibaba and found parts available and form/fit/functional on my design. Very happy, thanks

The exterior of the product looks sturdy and the exterior treatment is well done. However, compared to other products, it has the same capacity and large size, so it occupies a lot of installation area. The operating sound is quiet compared to other products. The product seems to be very good.

Don't feel any sense of assurance or safety on Alibaba unless you are buying something small and simple. I decided to buy a lot of items for our new building. For the most part a good experience. But there is a lot of caution. You have to be meticulous and detail oriented. Down to the packaging they will use when shipping and the actual box/carboard/plywood etc container that will be used to ship your item to your location. Freight Forwarders ARE NOT protected or covered by any Alibaba anything. Find a freight forwarder in the states and use them. At least here you have some recourse. We've been waiting 60 days for our freight forwarder to ship our stuff. Trust me we tried everything aside from flying out there. Maybe stuff is missing? Who knows? Shipping costs are INSANE and so are anti-dumping laws, taxes, fees, customs etc. At the end of the several projects were LESS expensive sourcing in the US. One of them was a stell planter that was about 90 feet long. We got it in in two weeks installed in the states while China cost just as much with a 45 day mfg and 45 ship. No brainer. Get someone in the states to help you source items where you will ahve a benefit. We have bought from about 10 different vendors and upwards of 600K of merch.

Just had my first delivery of supplies from Alibaba. Was a little worried that they would get held up at customs and would have to go get them or that there would be exorbitant customs fees when this item arrived. Supplier assured me niether would happen. Sure enough item arrived at my door with no issues. Product is beautiful, as pictured. Very happy with my experience and will be back.

I'm an online clothing boutique shop owner. I need 200 sweatshirts and screen printing t-shirts in different styles and sizes. So, I order from an Alibaba supplier of a clothing manufacturer. I contacted one of the suppliers from him and ordered my items. But they didn't give me any feedback or reply, so I canceled my order from there and searched other clothing manufacturers for my boutique.

I like the process, professionalism and variety. I will try it again. The only comments is about the difficulty level for individuals and small companies. Hope to make it simpler.

I paid $1000 for a product which I never received The person who I paid said he wouldn't accept payment through Alibaba so I paid him through another source
I reported this to Alibaba and they I had found him guilty of scamming. They said they would shut down his company and get my money back for me, but after they found him guilty they said this is too extreme.so they are letting people scam through their company
Warning do not buy off ALIBABA as they support scammers

The products are sent very quickly with a serious packaging quality. The quality / price ratio is correct.We recommend this provider with whom we have never had any unpleasant surprises.
