As a kid I liked to watch Westerns. There was something about the adventure of going to unexplored lands where you never knew what would happen next. Alibaba is like that. I've found some of the most incredible deals on quantities of electronics that I could never have gotten in the US any other way. There are lots of dud suppliers but there are legit ones too. Just do as much homework as you can and understand there is always risk. Trade Assurance can also be helpful if you can find a supplier that qualifies.

It's my first to try buying online thru alibaba and was able to get in touch directly with manufacturers and it has been a great experience.

Was hesitant at first, as I'm not sure though if I will be dealing with legit suppliers, but it proved me wrong, Alibaba is a bridge for consumers who wants to have a real deal savings and value for their money thru direct buying from makers all over the world.

First, my responses to bids did not change their status. I kept getting notices as if they were new. The phone app doesn't synch with my computer, and the computer app freezes on the page to start a conversation. Their platform is so buggy it makes Messenger look good. But I ordered, and later, while my shipment sat at customs, Alibaba completed it anyway and asked for a review of seller, not once but twice for 2 different orders. Alibaba's so-called help did nothing to correct the problem even after I got a human to respond. I had to come here to leave a review of Alibaba because their own site doesn't have the option. If I can find another way to get international bids, I will switch.

Like any purchase you make, the first thing is to ensure value for money, quality of workmanship and materials that comprise the item. Companies don't stay in business unless their products meet market standards. Alibaba provides the buyer with ample information including number of years of trading, yearly value of sales, units sold, number of employees, etc. etc. All the info to make a sound judgement is accessible when you find out how to access it. Should you need help finding more on the Alibaba website - all you have to do is to ask Alibaba. They are very happy to assist..

I like this site for a huge number of things that can be purchased quite cheaply. Of course, the quality in some places falls on the goods, but this is not critical. Many sellers are quite responsive and friendly. I recommend at least trying it.

I had an account to contact with suppliers and out of the blue I couldn't login anymore. I keep receiving a message saying "this account cannot login at this time" it's not related to security reasons as many ppl have their accounts banned. I tried contacting though Facebook or wherever I could locate a way to communicate. They don't have a customer support only a bot that don't give options to talk to a human, call a number or solve your problems. I've lost all the suppliers I had contact with. Considering to find another platform to source my business in Australia, this is not a reliable website.

I am very satisfied with this cooperation, RICHI is very experienced suppliers of feed pellet machinery. They patiently answered me a lot about machine problems, which made me trust them very much.

We connect online and we get quick response from supplier when we need technical help. We are overall happy with this order. I hope they can get more orders.

The arbitration process sides with the supplier rather than the buyer, they will try their best to deflect all responsibility and try to place the blame elsewhere, I didn't expect this kind of service from Alibaba. Especially after all the claims of 30 days peace of mind etc that they promise to offer. We signed up for DDP service (which means the seller is responsible for the goods until they reach our door), even then Alibaba tried blaming the shipping company and asked us to claim from them. They have no moral compass.
