Seven months ago we ordered over $200,000 worth of drones and parts from XCM CLASSIC LIMITED. A drone company advertising on ALIBABA. The company never shipped the parts and will not respond to emails or refund our money. IN FACT XCM CLASSIC LIMITED still advertises on ALIBABA We filed a compliant with ALIBABA with no response. We had to resort to International help contacting LAW ENFORCEMENT and US/CHINESE GOVERNMENT for assistance. We are in the process of notifying the NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE. [Where ALIBABA STOCK IS TRADED] Hopefully, ALIBABA will step up to the plate and help us resolve the issue. We will not stop until our drones are shipped or money refunded.
I have been with Alibaba for quite some years now. Always enjoy shopping here and have referred friends. Some products are better than others but that's an individual risk between suppliers.
Suppliers are always professional. I would suggest being patient as shipment can take some weeks or months depending on how it's shipped, but well worth the wait.
The only downside there's no easy process to contact Alibaba if in need of any assistance. Hoping they can provide a toll-free number or email for when issues arise between a supplier. So basically it's between you and the supplier to negotiate any conflicting issues.
Since 2004 I've only had one minor issue.
It needs some practice to get the hang of AliBaba but once you know your way a hole now world opens for your business. Do enough research to see if your quote is strong or on other side maybe cheaper.

I have been using Alibaba to outsource several different promotional products. It has always been easy and secure. There was some fear early on being in Canada, but after my first seamless purchase to landed product I haven't looked back.

As a small business, it is difficult for us to research and make contact with many foreign manufacturers. More, we simply don't have the resources or time to properly vet them for quality or security. Alibaba has allowed us to directly source products from manufacturers, cutting out expensive middle-men, while also giving the piece of mind that we are protected through their Trade Assurance program and vendor reviews. This has allowed us to save tens of thousands on asset acquisition costs and helped fuel our expansion. We expect to utilize the platform even more in coming years.

It is hard to find good quality, fairly priced skateboards here in India. Got to choose from plenty of options on Alibaba and after speaking with many suppliers, found the perfect fit.
Smooth ordering, payment process. Many shipment options but I stick with FedEx for easy customs clearance.
This company is impossible to get ahold of anyone. They have numbers that automatically disconnect others which have a busy signal.
The company I supposedly purchased from was a 10 day shipment. However two months later in still waiting. No items, no refund and no legitimate phone number to dispute
Never will I use this service for any future business or personal needs.
The site Alibaba and the Organisation have been a pivotal means of purchasing out-sourced items, that are either hard to find or expensive within other markets.
They select businesses for others to trade through using customer reviews on their purchase history and item quality, not many businesses do that these days!
Everything we had ordered through Alibaba had arrived in good working order. Alibaba's trade assurance is a great feature. Just don't like the message interface it has. It's not as user-friendly as they make it out to be. We think there's room for improvement here.
I will do business with them again!

Their purchasing software and service are terrible. They don't return calls, send senseless form letters, and then when you finally succeed after using three banks, their next email tells you that the transaction failed. They never corrected this. They use DHL to ship (no choice), who did not notify me while the package was at U.S. Customs for 6 days! It almost got sent back. Meanwhile, AliBaba is telling you they released your funds to the merchant, with no place on the form to tell them to hold up.
