In terms of getting anything you need under one roof, you can't go wrong using Alibaba. Once you navigate through the process of figuring out how to order using a trade assurance vendor and get the shipment to your destination, you can do it without much challenge. The ordering was easy, working with the China manuf. The shipping was the big challenge. Here's a tip I learned from the freight forwarder: Before you book and pay for the FF, and you're seeing all of your options in Ship.alibaba.com, call the FF and ask what the least expensive or fastest route is to your destination. If I had realized that I shoujld have shipped to Los Angeles port and not directly to Houston port, I could have saved time and money. The location was cheaper and then the container would have been trucked to the destination, likely getting it there sooner and cheaper. Once the shipment hits the sea, you are at the mercy of the shipping company. Our product left China on time and sat in South Korea for 2 weeks for unknown reasons. We paid extra to have our 40' container arrive sooner than the standard time and ended up getting it a few days later than the standard time. So what did we pay extra for? Don't waste $$ on paying more for your shipment to arrive earlier. It just doesn't work that way.

I just made my first purchase, i have no regrets. The supplier i used was accommodating and very insistent. I hope my next supplier is the same. Im still getting used to the website but so far their prices are much lower than US wholesalers so I'm here to stay. Fair warning, not all suppliers on the site are trustworthy and thats just by the lack of communication with some. However you just have to really look into the suppliers profile look at prior customer reviews and also see how much theyve earned thus far including if they're verified. I chose a supplier that cost me slightly a little more than others offer because of those factors. Starting a small business I couldn't afford to make a vulnerable mistake this early in the game. Hope this help anyone starting out.
