The best thing about Aleks are the bad reviews. Teachers and parents wont listen to us because were just kids or whatever, but this website must be taken down. It gives awful and unhelpful explanations, and practically kills you when you get one question wrong. I'd rather kill the creator of this $#*!, or kill myself, both are better than doing another topic.
Aleks is the most $#*!ed cancer $#*! program ive ever used. It dosent help me at all and when i do it makes me wanna die. I get less sleep and i go to school looking like a hobo witch that just spent hours cursing someone and that person was aleks. ALEKS IS USLESS PEICE OF POOP AND NEVER EVER USE IT BECAUSE IF U DO U WILL $#*! URSELF
The amount of anger and stress this damn program has caused me is not measurable. It has sucked my time away and it was all for nothing when it forced me to take another knowledge test in the middle of my assignment I was working on for 6 hours. It killed my progress, my grade and made me take a thousands steps backwards. This program only exists to suck the living life force out of you and the green out of your wallet. I will never pay for this $#*! again.
Help aleks hurts my $#*!ing brain i'm literally $#*!ting myself help me. I can't feel my toes please delete this website. If you get one thing wrong it breaks your neck
This site is required for my degree in my math class and it's absolutely insufferable. The biggest problem is the fact that if you mess up one tiny thing in a problem, you get punished and the whole thing is counted wrong. Doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, instead of pointing at the mistake you made, the program just explains how to do the entire problem, which convinces you that you misunderstood the fundamental methodology. No joke, I'll understand a subject, then do the work on Aleks, and come out of it *not* understanding it anymore. E.g. Doing two step transformation; I got a 100% on the quiz, yet when I tried to do it on Aleks, that one unit took me over an hour to complete because it didn't show me what I specifically did wrong and made me completely jumble up the math in my head due to its failure to explain my errors. "hurr Durr you got the problem wrong so I'll just go ahead and explain how to do the problem instead of pointing out that one negative sign you forgot to put in at step 3 hurr durrrrr I'm Aleks and I'm $#*!ing $#*!ed"
This $#*! is the worst After doing the piece of $#*! program that doesn't help with $#*!. The school is $#*!ed for trying Aleks. My dementia riddled grandmother could teach me better than this crippiled website. The people who made this program should have seized to ever exist. They have brought torture to a bunch of students and its time for us to retaliate. Also, the people who force students to do Aleks have a special place in hell alongside the people who created the program. I feel like I'm losing brain cells every time I even open the program. The Explanations might as well not even be on there. They look like they were written by a first-grader on LSD. I can't take any more of this $#*!. This is a literal virtual hell.
Aleks is a $#*! website and while I sat down to do this in school I sat on my $#*! and my teacher wouldn't let me get up to fix it or I got a detention. Now I'm sitting in the hospital and they have to cut off my penis now. I'm so sad that I can't bang my big tittied 57-year-old gf. She is so sad because her favorite thing to do to me was injecting apple juice into my penis and watch it have an allergic reaction. I asked the doctor if he could make it into a dildo for her and he proceeded to eat all the medication he had for me and overdose on the ground. At least my friend I'm sharing a room with keeps me company but he's weird. Just a few minutes ago he asked me to pull his sandwich he had stored for lunch out of his $#*!. The weird thing is I couldn't find it and he sat there moaning the whole time. Thank you Aleks you piece of $#*! website that not even Bill Cosby or Kevin spacey would touch.
When i tell you its bad, oh trust me its BAD BAD. Consider it your virtual hell. Nothing less than that. If you can i would advise you to avoid this website at all costs. It deserves to be kept in a bottomless pit in the middle of sahara desert where nobody will ever have to deal with its existence.
1. It doesn't teach you anything
2. It punishes you for learning
3. I am already struggling in school and to make the matters worse I have this on my back too
4. It does a better job at teaching you how to get pissed of all the time instead of teaching you
5. The site literally causes depression and anger issues.
6. And just like some of the other comments when you put in the right answer it would say it's wrong then it says that it's right like REALLY! ALEKS FIX YOUR $H! T.
6. And finally I would do anything to make this web site be taken down!
After doing this garbage for over 4 years, I legit cant feel the left part of my brain. I feel like im going mentally insane whenever i do this. I want to kill everyone in the school system whenever I do this. Please end my suffering and end alek. Im going to put my balls in a washing machine.
The university system needs to put an end to Aleks. It is least efficient and very obnoxious. From its explanations to its markings on incorrect answers. It is heart wrenching that I have to encounter and use aleks again. The workload is overbearing and grade dropping. Put an end to Aleks or at least improve it so it isn't gut wrenching for students.
This should not exist. Who makes his junk? The creators of Aleks should be jailed or even executed the greater good of the human race.
This is by far the least efficient online homework program I have used in college. And "least efficient" is a euphemism for no efficiency at all. The bit about how it gives questions based on what you know is marketing BS. Knowledge Checks are indiscriminate and take several hours to complete (depending on the subject you're using the program for), and the homework itself consists of several topics, each requires two or three sequential correct answers with no leeway for minor algebraic errors or missed units. And the explanations to aid in solving problems seem to have been written by someone entirely unfamiliar with the topic or an AI coded by a 3rd grader. This program is absolutely $#*!ed.
Hello, I am here to give my opinion on Aleks, as a high school professor. It is very hard on my students and seems like such a waste of the school's money. If you are looking for a new learning program I would highly suggest you do not use Aleks. I'm sorry but it is truly not worth your time. Also, if you have any helpful math programs you would suggest as students, please let me know.
This cancer $#*! program makes me want shoot up my school. Why? Because this program gives you X amount of categories or topics to solve. Ok thats basic enough, and in each category there is X amount of problems you need to solve. Lets say 5. Lets also say that these questions are tough ones and you spend a long $#*! time to figure them out. Good job, lets say you completed 4/5 of the questions in this category. OOPS you make one mistake and the program removes a point. Then you try to fix it and it removes another. So its this stupid $#*!ing domino effect that when you get one wrong, the rest goes down aswell. So your 2 hour long session is just thrown out to the cyber sea of bull$#*!.
I hate this website soooooo much. I have to do 1 hour and 10 topics every week and some topics are actually impossible. The teacher does not help me with this and i makes me mad. My name is Alex and it make me so $#*!ing mad that a dumb website is named after me. I am going to sue the coorperation due to false advertising and use of my information. If Aleks was a real guy then i would shoot him in the $#*!
This website isn't even made properly; it looks like an 11 year old programmed his first math website. I had to suffer every night doing ALEKS and topics that I don't even know. What I hate most is if you're doing a topic but you don't know, instead of saying ok, you don't know this, it just tells you that it will postpone it later. So I just get stuck on that one problem either way.
What the heck dud i root the same thing but in a different order it cot it wrong that is just bully donkey that sucks lick
7+5=12 correct but 5+7= 12 uncracked this is trash > :P
All of my wasted time I want back. Aleks decided that it hated me and told me I got something wrong and when it showed me the right answer it was the exact same as my answer! THIS SITE ISN'T NEEDED!
Answer: Because the ALEKS program is literal hell and we people are just showing our hatred for it
Answer: Most likely.
Answer: Yes deal with it
Answer: Because people want to commit suicide in an original way, and ALEKS is the best way.
Answer: I don't think so but believe me a class action suit would be an improvement
Answer: I paid over $150 for this sumbi**h, I expect it to work
Answer: No i do not think the website owner has issued one but I think the feelings for aleks would be "down the toilet"
Answer: I realize this reply is very late but in case for anyone who needs it: -Let's say you're learning how to use long division. They have 3 questions in it. You master the first one, then go on to the next one. You get the second one wrong, guess what? They punish you and take back your first answer so now you have to answer it again. -How fun! And don't forget the useless knowledge checks!
