I always get answers wrong. I am supposed to do 20 topics each week. For homework and it took 1 hour and 13 mins to only do 4 topics. Ridiculous crap. I don't recommend. Stay away from this site. It's very bad. Boo. This site sucks. I wish i can rate this site 0 stars due to how bad it is.
I decided to revisit this... thing since my last review was awful. Where to start. The placement tests literally ruined the rest of the school year. They give you these easy questions and then $#@8 you over since they put you so far ahead. In my case... IT SENT ME A FEW MONTHS AHEAD WITH LESSONS I HAVE NEVER COVERED. I found myself doing topics in november with concepts taught in like january december and february. You may be thinking aleks has explanations, but they are garbage and its not like it matters, usually aleks will give you the explanation and in the next problem completely change the rules and its a completely different type of problem. ITS A PIECE OF S#!^! ITS A BUNCH OF F#@KING CRAP. And the problems themselves, since when was mastery type learning a good thing. It encourages you to cheat rather then to learn since its so frustrating losing progress that you might as well cheat to get this diarrhea mess over with. And who came up with kicking you out of a topic when you get a lot wrong? Not to mention LOSING your point when you get a question wrong. This causes a cycle of $#% where you get 1 right, then get the next wrong and lose your point. HOW DOES THAT ENCOURAGE YOU TO LEARN THE MATERIAL. This is god awful this is a$$. Its even worse then i remember. Id rather eat snotted diarrhea vomited out of a buffalos d###. Id rather play doom on atari. Id rather play halo on a tiger electronic wrist game. I've had more fun picking up the dog $#IT outside. Id rather be impaled by a pi$$ icicle then do 1 more topic. Its so bad it sucks. Its so bad it f###s. It so f###ing f### it sucks. Id rather drown in the toilet bowl after i eat spaghetti and take an explosive $#IT. I HAD TO DO 19 TOPICS A WEEK! To hell with this bull$#%. Thanks for considering my review. This program sucks
You could spend hours and get through 5% of the material. The only thing you learn is to memorize the questions and answer them in a way that the program understands, but not in a way that normal people interpret information. It pales in comparison with other sites that have "adaptive learning". If thrown into the trash, ALEKS would bump up the value of the filth around it.
Only way to describe it is it is a cancer. It is soul crushing. If you want to age ten years in a semester go ahead and take a course that requires ALEKS. STAY AWAY IF POSSIBLE. Worst online homework I have ever had to do, and the explanations are awful. Most of the time I end up using methods learned in class. I have never hated something so much in my life
Using this website for chemistry makes me want to rip all my hair out, become frozen for 100 years with a flying bison friend named Appa, go through a year a grueling elemental training to kill an evil Fire Lord instead of doing anything on this wretched waste of space.

Aleks makes math absolutely horrible and painful. There is nothing worse in the world than this crap. It is the reason cancer exists. My school spends money on this b. S only to make all of us depressed and hate math. Honestly math is okay, but ALEKS makes it so bad. It's a waste of time, waste of money. Just no. I'd legit go through a real life Outlast if it meant this would be deleted.
Aleks is a program where people cannot even learn because they only get a chance to do 3-5 problems. If you want your child to learn make them do MobyMax

I have been on here since the begging of the school year and know that i have to reach 50% it was being so dumb so you know what it did it put me back two% so i got mad and know i have to get back that two percent and im mad!
Alexs gives very bad explanations and some of the answer are totally wrong. Also, half the time when my answer matches up, they say it's wrong. They won't even let me just rate this and leave.
It is such a big fat waste of time. One time I got the correct answer and it said it was wrong! I'll much rather give up social media then spend a minute on it!
The title should explain it all, but I have to make this 100 characters (oof!) Good math websites at least try to make it fun as well as educational. Aleks doesn't even try to accomplish that. And it purposely tries to trigger you by saying "let's take a break." I hope Aleks goes out of business before this school year ends because I'VE HAD IT!
I used ALEKS last year, and I was pretty bad at Math. I thought ALEKS would help but it didn't. It just made me even more bad at it. I would rather shove my brother's head into my bum, and then jump off of a 32,678 foot cliff. End of.

I love aleks it the only thing that gets me through the day. Without aleks i don't know how i could get my math done, normal teachers just don't understand how really math is done. Thank the dark lord for aleks truly a life savior!
