I booked a date and double checked everything and when I clicked book it they changed the date and charged me and it came up a month from the date selected... and up pops a non refund policy, they are crooks! Now calling the credit card company
The website booked the wrong date. I rang to get it fixed and the guy said he was refunding the money while emptying my credit card into a charity. This was not mentioned to me. Now I can't get my booking money back and had to cancel my credit card. Be very careful!
I am absolutely disgusted with Agoda.com. They have terrible customer service. I was told that they sent me a confirmation of the booking and my picture clearly shows that I never received a confirmation on June 10,2019. I never did as the picture clearly shows. Had I received a copy of confirmation I would have cancelled my room on time. Do not do business with them.
We booked a hotel (stansted airport lodge) with agoda.com. We arrived at the property and there was nobody at reception and when the phone number was called we were told our booking was not valid despite a valid booking with Agoda. Agoda were called and they sent the request to their re location' team. An hour later we were informed that we had 2 new options to choose from and I chose holiday inn as it has a decent enough reputation. Later I was called by Agoda to say that due to the late hour this re location' could not be arranged after constant hassle and waiting. Most agents were unapologetic and blamed the hotel for not receiving their email. Agoda refunded the cost of the hotel booking but did not find us an alternative meaning we had to find a hotel at 3am in London which we finally did when we booked a room for 255 pounds. I am seeking compensation from Agoda and this is ongoing. Avoid the company like the plague, they are unreliable and dreadful to work with. I wish we had never booked with him and had booked with a hotel directly. We are now out of pocket have barely slept and were treated in a disgusting manner by this company.
We were staying at a hotel and I rebooked it and it was nearly $200 a night through Agoda. The website did not confirm the booking. I waited 15 minutes and there was no confirmation so I rebooked the hotel again then I recieved a confirmation for my first booking. I spent the night talking to staff at the hotel and they said the double booking would be refunded. After many calls with Agoda I did not receive any refund.

I booked a room for a one night stay at Quality Inn for June 18,2019 as my wife is having a procedure at a hospital that requires an overnight stay. When I got the confirmation it was for June 23rd, non-cancellation and no show provision. Also it was for two people, not just one. I called the motel to change the date but they said that I would have to contact Agoda. I did and got the run around with them saying that to change the date I needed to book another room. This is outrageous. Most businesses have the courtesy of cancellation without any charge but they charged me for the cancellation full price. When I receive the credit card bill I will contact them and have them back charge for this inconvenience. How can a legitimate business operate in this manner? It was their fault not mine.

Terrible experience, carefully choose a hotel which they presented as including breakfast (have screenshots to prove it) and then received a booking confirmation which doesn't include breakfast. Even presented with the facts they are not changing the agreement nor allowing to cancel the booking! Never again snd beware of these cheeky liers!
Really pathetic customer support,,,, very arrogant, rude behavior n non supportive... Booked one property in manali through them... and advance payment was given. Called up at property, they were rude and didnt share any information. After that called up agoda customer support, they were more rude, non supportive and arrogant. Didnt hear to customer queries, had their own predetrmined answers and not even ready to give solutions... really company of such a high caliber gives this kind of service... which is really pathetic
I was forced to cancel a trip because of illness. I cancelled three days before my trip. They refused my request for a refund blaming the hotel. I then contacted the hotel and the said that if Agoda requested the refund it would have been given. They lie.
I got a pop up message when trying to book 'booking failed, payment...', so I updated my credit card details but booked a different hotel. The first hotel I had attempted was booked for the same time as the second. I was billed for both. AGODA gave me no help. They lied and said I had booked both. I will NEVER USE AGODA again.
Used to use only orbitz but after the screwed my last trip i used Agoda for hotels so far so good and unless something changes for the worse I will continue to use them
They have double charged me for a $280 room, and refused to acknowledge that they did even after I sent them the information on it. They keep saying it's not them even though it is their name? I have had the run around with these people for a week now. They are the worst DONT USE THIS 3rd PARTY!
I have booked an elite room stay in ootty through agoda. After reaching the place the receptionist from the resort told me that there is no room available. I have started my conversation in English. But I heard that the hotel guys made the check in for a offline booking instead of waiting for My booking which payed 100% in Advance. I was with my 3 months old baby and my wife and It was late night as well. I recommend not to book any place which mentioned OYO in their name because OYO is the hotel partner in India for agoda and it is worst

Agoda has a phone number to call if you want to change or cancel a reservation... BUT, the number takes you an on line labyrinth of voice mail prompts, no access to a live representative, and 25 minutes of frustration leading nowhere. Want to ask a question or complain, sorry, there is no portal, email chat libe zero at which to do this. I would never ever consider using them again, and frankly, I don't even understand how I wandered from booking.com to this dreadful site in the first place. NEVER NEVER NEVER.
Booked a hotel for our anniversary. After double checking EVERY retail before paying, we had the transaction go through. We get our confirmation email and the dates were a week later. I called over 6 times in 3 days getting told so many different reasons/excuses saying they can't change it that their booked solid for the dates I wanted, that they investigated the problem and it was our fault, can't do anything. I then called the hotel and talked to the manager about the situation and about these reviews to warn him that their scamming people for his hotel as well and he told me to call them and inform them that I spoke to him and I demand a refund and that they can call him as well. I finally got a call back stating that I am getting the free cancellation and full refund. I will see if the money comes back and no charge happens for the bull$#*! date they had made from the start. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!
Agoda employees will lie through their teeth to swindle you out of your money. I was looking for a room for the night. I didn't even understand that my Kayak app was switching me over to another company. I booked a room for the night, but their website had booked me for a random future date... non-refundable. I went to check in, but no reservation. Found out what Agoda was from the manager who gave me their phone number. Agoda clearly understood what had happened, yet they basically told me tough luck. The hotel manager said unequivocally that I could get refunded for that future date. I was there to rent a room that very night. The hotel manager said that it was absurd to tell me that I couldn't get a refund. Yet, Agoda played games with me sending me about 10 emails that they were "looking into it" and "coordinating with the hotel" to see whether I could get a refund. They claim that the hotel said no. That is a blatant lie. I will never use Agoda again. In fact, I'd rather pay more than use Agoda. If anyone asks me about Agoda, I'll tell them to stay clear.

This is a horrible company. They took my money and then cancelled my reservation without asking my permission. Horrible customer service as no one was able to answer my emails or even contact me to resolve this problem. They said on the cancellation email that I should wait up to 10 days to receive my refund.
As a partner (Sun House Samana) with Agoda in the Dominican Republic since last January they sent me many clients but never be able to pay me back always sent me documents to be fix.

The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
