The German company that runs Dawn of Gods is the worst gaming company with the most stupid and incompetent programmers in any game I Have encountered. They can't fix anything and don't know anything about game play. Truly an idiotic company run by bozos.
Back when there were free AP offers on the Aeria games website (by watching videos, surveys etc...), I collected 9 aeria points from doing these. It was already appearing on my aeria page each time I logged in. It also appeared in-game when I played (Aura Kingdom). Recently when I found the time to go back to the game and play again, I went on the website to actually buy AP for the first time and saw that it was reset to 0.
- I did not remain completely inactive, I logged in once in a while to collect the free in-game rewards from opening the chest on the website. I unfortunately do not have a screenshot of the 9 AP being there so I cannot fight the case. So yeah, bummer.
- I find it unfair as they did this without saying anything, no mail, nothing.
If I could travel back in time, the first thing I would do is warn myself to never purchase Aeria Points. Aeria Games treats their customers like trash, even their whales, such as myself who mistakenly spent $500+ on Aeria Points. I'm baffled at how bad their customer service is. Expect to wait a few days on average after opening a support ticket for either a rude or canned response. They will ban you for literally ANY reason. Like, if you haven't spent any money in a while, guess what... you're banned! Haven't logged in a month? You're banned! Bottom line, AVOID Aeria games. Don't get scammed, save your money.
They make every game they published "Pay to win" and the support is the worst.
I have 1 account that I have been using for so long and instead of helping me get it back, they just banned it.

Ever since aeria bought S4 League it just became worse and worse. They ruined the game completely, they used it for money. Now that the numbers of players decreased and there are barely anyone playing, they decided to shut the game down, since they cannot gain anything from it anymore. Instead of selling it to another company who could possibly fix this game they just close the servers.
Horrible... im playing s4 league and it's getting its servers crashed every 5 minutes because of a hacker, now they are relying on hackers to help them keep the original hacker away... check it for urself on c0unter.org, oh and... servers are still crashing
Aeria games has terrible response times. The worst I have ever seen, I find myself waiting 7-14 days for a response to a ticket. Takes over 1 week for them to even open your ticket which is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. Save yourself some money and time and find a game and company deserving of your money (Aeria games is not)
I've played a lot of games and dealt with a lot of gaming company's support, AeriaGames is by far the worst. Slow response time, terrible at pinpointing the issue and overall very unpleasant to work with, so I stopped playing their game Aura Kingdom after spending lots of money on Aeria Points, one time I tried to go back and check out what's new, and guess what? My account is banned due to "billing inactivity" so basically they banned me because I stopped spending money on their games...
In 2020 Aeria Games sold Ironsight to Wiple Games. During this process they wiped everyone's accounts. Over the course of 2018 and 2019 I had played Ironsight for dozens of hours and spent over $200 on in-game items/currency. Aeria or Wiple games did NOT honor any of these purchases! They wiped over $200 in items. After a dozen emails between both Aeria Games and Wiple Games, including receipts and proof of purchase, neither company would do effing anything. Neither would provide any sort of compensation, and pointed the finger at the other. Wiple would not even provide $10 in in-game purchases. Keep in mind I have & provided multiple sources of proof of purchase.
Both are horrible companies, especially Aeria Games who are flat out thieves. I will never recommend or support either of these companies.
Please don't waste your time playing this aeria game. The game is worthless. Developers, and no one is admitting that the game is broken. Please do not play the game because all they do is take your money if you pay. Sure, they are not twisting your arm when you buy but they do not respect the fact that they need to fix the game. Disgusting company; literally steals money by offering best ever promotions shortly before closing games with no prior warning and then offering no refunds. Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
Why Aeria games is a very horrible games company:
1. Bad customer service.
2. Bans for inactive purchasing.
3. GM Wish events, pay a ridiculous amount of $$ to get ridiculous items/gears.
4. Weekly/Monthly/Loyalty tiers worth of spending $$. They have worse monetization than mobile games.
5. Their games tend to monetize more than even the native KR/TW version of their games do. Just to emphasize the greed. I know they are a business, but this is next level, top tier p2w monetization.
6. Events are almost always worse than native counterparts of their games. They almost always remove freebie things, like daily login rewards/etc.
7. VERY SLOW updating. The content on their games arrive so slowly, that private servers are months ahead.

Their games ARE free to play, but it's not enjoyable unless you buy something with aeria points. They make you do that. Money grabbers to the max! They ruined Alliance of Valiant Arms, my favorite game...
This company is scam orientated. I've been playing at this company since 2009, They will want to take your money by the thousands and give you fake promises to keep you still here spending. They will keep telling you fake lies such as its the *devs* fault etc when its clearly them. They have the worst customer service compared to 4 years ago where it was decent, their Staff, especially at Shaiya are bunch of inexperienced baboons that like to ban any costumers for saying them to fix the game contents. They are by all means, the Devils that will brutally beat up and kill a homeless for his buck.
Their customer support is the worst I've ever seen. I've had better support from scammers than this company. Your items (which you overpaid for, with real money) will magically disappear, your ticket to customer support will then be answered a whole three months later (and I'm not exaggerating, I sent it in may and just received an answer). In this answer they will tell you they've "investigated" the issue and then blame it on you. They'll take you for a complete dumbass and tell you YOU DELETED THEM. If you ever have a problem with a game bug, don't expect them to help you! They'll simply tell you to ask around in the game and that maybe another player can help you with it. The economy in their games is horrible, the prices for stuff is unattainable without paying real money and you'll have to pay hundreds to get a good mount or a good piece of armor. Don't even think about PvP if you don't have any real money to spare.
Their games ARE free to play, but it depends on what you want out of your experience. I think the game mechanics are set up that you can get by with promotions, freebies and in-game items but if you want the best equipment, cool looking outfits with cool bonuses and stats you have to spend money. And not just a bit, it can get up to a few hundred a month for the truly addicted (I was one of them >.>). For the game I played (Megaten), the management of the GM team became questionable at times - with scandals of free giveaways to GS's (something their policy states doesn't happen), drama and favouritism between GM's and other players. I think if you're bored and want to try something new, the games offered are probably adequate - but why not give in and just play Warcraft. The monthly fee pales to the hundreds I've spent on Aeria per month, just to get the best armor and weaons. Sure it's not mandatory, but if that's what a player is looking for - that's the price.
Aeria closed Golden Age without prior notice and with no offer of a refund. Not only that, but they offered a 50% bonus buy of AP the week before they closed the game. Don't trust them, DON'T pay to play. They are tossers.
I agree with Alex. I used to be majorly addicted to Last Chaos. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on this game. I played off and on for several years. Finally back in 2011 I started taking summer classes and got so busy I didn't have time to play. 2 years later I wanted to play again. I had a LOT of credit/AP saved up in my account because I knew I'd be back. But it turns out, they deleted my account. I will never play an Aeria game again now. So just beware, if you want the most out of their games you'll have to either play 24/7 or spend LOTS of money.
Just don't play any aeria games, I spent $100 for my first char in AK just to get erased by Aeria for not playing it for 4 months, when I send them a ticket, yes they reply it 4 days later, but they said that there no nickname like what i told them, bullsht I waste that 100$. And my other 2 friends who I played with got banned for no good reason, wait actually there is a reason, a very "dumb" reason, they said my friends use cheat, while in fact they aren't.
But i'm okay with it, I love AK so i play it from scratch again and buy another 100$ AP, oh and you know what happen? All the thing I got is trash, worthless to mention, this developer just want your money, they deliberately slowing the update of new event and item and wait for you to buy it, after that they will update a new item, so you can go and suck your finger seeing a new cool item. Don't buy anymore AP from them, it's a total scam.
If only I knew about the private server sooner I won't be wasting my money and 4 years in aeria server.
I've been playing games from aeria for almost 8 years now and i'm glad i never gave them my money. They treat you like trash and they treat their games as only a means to make as much money from people before it gets shut down. Yes many other games are like this, but they're just about as bad as it gets. My account got hacked a while back and i got banned. They refuse to unban, and have marked my email as spam, they told me themself in a report ticket, as well as to not even bother replying for more help.
