They repaired out Autoclave that Tuttnauer said could "not be repaired." Will recommend to colleagues.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. This is by far the worst company I have ever purchased anything from in my professional career. I spent over $4000 on a fundus camera to better serve my patients. Initially, there was issue with the software, which they corrected, so I thought we were off to a good start, however, once I got the software working, it became clear that the images weren't clear. Reaching someone over the phone is impossible, so you have to get support tickets. These take days to have someone get back to you. After months of back and forth, I had yet been able to use the machine for actual patient care. Technicians weren't able to resolve why the images were cut off, so they offered to send a n ew DSLR. I received a new attachment, only to have the images to appear the EXACT SAME way. The technicians told me they don't know why it's happening or how to fix it. Finally, they told me to just return the entire camera under warranty and bring it unpackaged to a carrier facility. I brought it in to which the company packaged it and shipped it out (as I was instructed to do by ACME). I was informed by ACME that there was supposed damage during shipping that caused an internal piece to be damaged. I received no images to indicate that the box was somehow damaged during shipping or anything to indicate the actual shipping was the issue. Rather, I was showed images of a dismantled machine claiming the damage was done by the carrier facility and that the device would be returned to me. Damage that was likely there BEFORE I received the camera and why it never worked properly. No help as to how to fix it or that anything could be done. The entire process has been over a year with no resolve. The staff here is not helpful and looking further, it appears this company does this frequently. They are fraudulent and gave the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are scamming people out of money for products that are not adequately refurbished and making people pay for additional warranties that they will not grant and just blame the carrier facility. 0 out of 10 stars.
On 8/2/23, we purchased a Pelton and Crane OCM Autoclave from ACME REVIVAL for $1245.96, which included a 2 year warranty. The machine arrived on 8/22/23, a week later than expected, worked one time and then would not heat. We contacted the company through online chat because, even though they advertise a customer support number, the only way to communicate with this compamy is through online chat. We were sent a shipping label to return for repair via UPS. We packed the autoclave in bubblewrap, placed it in a large box and then used a second box, which we broke down, to surround the original box for extra protection, taped the entire package closed with shipping tape and sent it out on 9/11/23. On 9/20/23 we received an email from this company stating the returned item did not qualify for their return policy because it had been damaged by the carrier en route and they were returning the autoclave to us. The only option they gave for us was to file a claim with UPS. ACME REVIVAL INC got to keep the 1245.96 we paid to them and then deny any further service, even though we paid for a two year extended warranty, on a machine which they sold to us even though it was a defective product. When trying to file a claim with UPS, we were told the claim had to come from ACME REVIVAL INC, as the return shipping label was under their name and account.
When we told them this information, their only response was to repeat the original message that the package was damaged, they weren't going to do anything about it, contact UPS...etc. What a scam! Sell a defective product, claim it was damaged when the customer returns it for repair, blame the carrier, refuse to acknowledge what the carrier requires to file the claim, and then keep the money without any further action, regardless of paid warranty. A damaged package arriving to this company for repair is their lucky day! A more suspicious person might question who actually caused the damage. Stay away from this company.

Answer: I just got my FDT optical machine back. Acme had it for 2 months. At first they'll hound you for payment. I mean, they'll send you a threatening email every day saying that if you don't pay there will be a stocking fee etc. After you do pay the communication STOPS. After 2 months of this nightmare I finally received my FDT back, which I was surprised by the way. The original issue untouched plus my machine broken in 3 pieces. Please do not do business with these criminals. They should be prosecuted. I should've seen other reviews. You've been warned!
