Called AAA and received text message and a call stating AAA was 13mins away.45 mins and no show. Then I call the man back@ his number *******594. He tells me he got pulled off my tow. That AAA was supposed to call me. I explained I was pissed-because he or no one had called/texted to inform me of the changes. He had the nerves to hang up on me-but not before telling me. That I could leave the key in vehicle and just leave a message. Where I was leaving it. So I proceeded to call *******357(AAA) I'm then informed that it was going be 90 mins or so. Because an accident had happened and they pulled the driver that was supposed to assist me. She informed that they couldn't tow my vehicle without me being there. So Couldn't leave key for them. AAA needs to get it together with their AAA tow ppl. They don't even know what each other are doing or just don't care.
When I applied suppose to give 50 percent off. This isn't the case. The website didn't give a code snd I paid full price now I'm not getting anywhere for them to refund the 50 percent owed.
So I ran into a triple a driver his fist name was Ben i probably bugged him and was cause he was at the shopping plaza and I could not find help and a saw him on the other end and bugged and and he helped me cause I dunno what I would have done cause I don't get paid till Friday and I was broke and I asked him for help. And he helped me so what these means for u Tripple aaa is that I will become a life time member. As of Friday march16 because ur man went out of their way for me.so now u have a life time member. Thanks again I cannot believe that I got help in a time that I was I need in my life

I would have given o out of 5 if i can. I buy for the roadside got to use it one time. The rest was your on your own every time. When i ask for a refend i was told so sad out of luck. We got your money and live with it. Don;t do it they take your money and run
We broke down beside the road in the cold with our 89 year old grandmother and waiting for 4 hrs never heard a word from them … called we would be on hold for 30+ minutes before our phone would be disconnected…… absolutely garbage wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy …. And what kind of road side assistance company isent open 24/7 … and I gave one star because I had to give that
I have been paying for AAA road service for 50 years. I just got a letter of non-renewal. They are canceling me for using the full amount of benefits I'm entitled to under my Premiere membership and for which I paid.
They tried to make me wait 6 hrs for road assistance this ridiculous no more business with aaa,

AAA never knows how long the tow truck will be, they take their sweet time dispatching a driver and often will accidentally cancel the order leaving you waiting for hours
Been with aaa 19 years called for a toll said dont toll cars or trucks with lettering small company. Must have change overnight tolled mine last year bardstown ky *******. If that the case dont need them. Called cant tell me anything.
I called AAA at 9:32am and they said they were dispatching a tow truck and it would arrive at 9:57am and still waiting after 3:45 minutes. I have called AAA repeatedly and they fail to tell the truth and be simply transparent to its customers. They text me every 15 minutes or so stating they are CLOSELY monitoring my service request and they are there to help. That is ABSOLUTLY UNTRUE! I have spoke to several supervisors and they read the same scripted statement back to me verbatim trying to sugarcoat the situation by making excuses. If people in America ran their businesses this poorly they would be out of business. KB
I've been a AAA customer for over 10 years and am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. Another AAA insured driver rear-ended me on 12/12/22 while I was at a full stop and my AAA adjuster told me that I might be held responsible. What the heck?! Additionally, it has been over 4 weeks and I am still in limbo with the uncertainty of $1,000 deductible (and possible point on my record) and my adjuster will not return my calls or emails - apparently she has been on vacation for over 2 weeks. Glad she's relaxing while I'm freaking out... I will be dropping them immediately if this does not end well. Don't waste your time with AAA, they have seriously gone downhill.

We were having car trouble, and we requested assistance from triple-A. We were told we had to wait 45 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes and no one showed up. We tried calling repeatedly, and all we got were robotic voices telling us that our call was being connected to the proper people. When we were connected to a person, all they said was that they needed to transfer us to someone else and we waited even longer. After two strangers fixing our car, we were back on the road. After three hours, triple-A called us telling us that we were coming. Before this happened, the time on the app did not change at all. They had the audacity to tell us that other people were calling them too, but the point was they freaking claimed 45 minutes and came after 3 hours. They were completely unreliable.
My review is about a AAA tow company, although my tow was not AAA related. I was driving my 32' Winnebago towing my Jeep north on 95 in Ct. When shortly after leaving a Highway Gas station the engine quit. I got it into breakdown lane 1 foot away from barriers. 2 lane highway & there was about a foot to the line.911 called, Mal's auto & truck repair for the tow this was about 9:30 PM. The Owner called me within minutes after learning my situation he knew what truck to bring. He was there within minutes & literally risked his life to get us off the highway. A trooper showed up behind the RV with lights on but it didn't stop anybody from flying by not changing lanes at 70+. This company was extremely helpful & you couldn't ask for a better company to deal with. On a different note He will be repairing the RV as we found their shop & personal to be on point. I'm from Ma. But was very lucky to be connected to them now.
I have had AAA since 1997 for roadside assistance and am currently extremely disappointed. My battery on my car needed a jump on Christmas night. They refused to come out claiming to have too many calls for service. So I waited until the next day, late afternoon, waited on hold for 30 minutes only to he told they couldn't come our to residences because they had too many requests for service. I explained I didn't mind waiting as many hours as it took, yet was refused. I paid $115 for the year for roadside assistance and for 2 days can not get service. They need to hire more drivers so they can provide the service I paid for and expect. I would have waited 4, 5, 6 hours, still refused. Completely unacceptable and I feel scammed. Why pay all this money if I can't even get a jump for 2 consecutive days. I understand prioritizing calls, but not a total refusal of service.
I needed car tow on 12/15/2022. Placed over four calls. Each time staff was provided information that was relative at that time. Staff was given phone number, ID number, address and what I possible might need for safe hauling of my vehicle. Last call female staff was argumentative, at this time it was dark in the vehicle and my phone battery was going dead. I requested she review the information I previously provided, she did not like that it was not word for word, became argumentative and terminated the call. I had contacted a family member for help before the call. If it was not for my family member I would have had no service, sitting in a parking area with a dead battery at night. Triple AAA policy was cancelled that evening. Unfortunately they have no real consequences for not following through with their obligation. My family ended up calling a tow truck without Triple AAA and was immediately assisted.
Let me start by saying I have been a member for 30+ years. Service levels and customer service have gone way down. It is NOT what it used to be!

Our most recent experience, which was yesterday. We waited over 4 hours for a tow truck and this was in Daytona, not a remote location. There is NO reason to have to wait that long given the amount of money that we pay AAA every year and do not use the services that often. Buyer beware there are so many better less costly options out there.
AAA farms out their service (as do many others) to these so called hack agents who then sell you the moon only to rip you off. And then take no responsibility for their actions. I sent notice of cancellation and they withdrew the payment anyway... I still have received nothing back and no help from AAA resolving the matter... buyer beware

Answer: I should have been more specific. I am trying to get the the AAA club membership for chicago. That site is for California. And it is secure. As is one i checked for Texas. Chicago?... not so much.
