I have owned the A-Box for over 3 months and am very satisfied with the product. I have had very few issues and found the owner (Julie) to be very responsive anytime I have called or emailed her. She takes the time to go over your concern and normally has the issue resolved immediately. I have and continue to enjoy all the features of the box and do not have any problem recommending the box to friends and family
We purchased an A Box at a Home and Garden show. I asked the salesman at least 3 times if it would work on our tv. He said it would work and all we had to do was plug it in. My husband and I are not very good with electronics but we tried to get it set up. We couldn't do it. We called our computer consultant and he tried to get it set up spending about 2 hours on it. My husband called the number provided and spoke to the owner who said she would credit our account. We then called our credit card company to tell them we would be credited for the purchase of the A Box. When the owner found out we called our bank, she put in a dispute claim against us without our knowledge. The bank said she won the dispute and the charge would remain. We emailed the owner back and forth several times. She was angry that we called the bank and said this would look bad for her company and that she would not refund our money. We had sent the A Box back to her already and she refused to send us a new one.
This is definitely a scam. The salesman was not honest with us and the owner was downright rude and unreasonable. She threatened us with a law suit if we put any negative review on her website. We decided it was not worth fighting with an unstable person and dropped the whole situation. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product.
I had an opportunity to purchase the latest A-Box TV Android Box. I say the latest because this is the third box purchased from Julie and I got it at the Orlando Home and Garden show on January 17! This one is going in the motorhome and is a little different, (but a whole lot better), from the two home models that I have at home now. Purchased at a low price and with a low monthly subscription charge that includes all three a-boxes that I have, I am able to stream my favorite series and recent movies better than ever.
It is so easy to set up and get going in minutes. Just plug it in to an outlet and into your TV HDMI and after a few short minutes for an initial update, your watching 250 channels from all over the world, your favorite movies, and even pay per views. It even has a speed checker available to make sure you have enough internet speed, (which doesn't need a lot). It's portable, so what's better to take on an RV excursion? Julie was very informative at the booth that she and her daughter were able to answer questions and enlightened the crowd around her.
Error messages saying "one or more items failed to play" is constant. Often it will just stop in the middle of a movie.
Had to get higher Internet speed, attach ethernet directly to box and tv (additional cost per month from Brighthouse) and NO written directions. A few youtube videos done in someone's house. The customer service is not a direct line and I leave messages, they call back the next day when I am at work, promising to call back that night. No call.
Sometimes you have to turn off the remote control box several times to get it to work. This is NOT easy like they say. I am a techie too. Not an absolute novice.
I would NOT recommend this unless you are willing to pay for the extra Internet bandwidth and wait forever for it to load. Initially, I couldn't even figure out how to get it to work. They need some kind of instruction manual. There is NONE.
One customer service person (there is only two... I think the company is only Julie, Shaquan and Dillon) took remote control of my set to get it to work finally.

I have had this product since last March and I absolutely love it. The tech support and customer service is on point. I reccomend this product to ANYONE who wants to replace their cable!
I purchased my first box in February 2015. At first everything was great. I had a couple problems but ended up switching my internet and it resolved them. I was so happy at first that I recommended several people to get online and buy an a-box... which they did. I even purchased a second box as part of a Christmas promotion in December 2015. However I started experiencing problems with the first box. I called tech support and told them of the issue with the box shutting off whenever someone walked across the room. I was told send it back we will just replace it. I was sending in right before my warranty expired so I thought great a new box still under my warranty. NOPE! They sent it back and said that they reprogrammed it and everything was fine. I plugged it in, turned on a show and within 5 minutes the box shut off again. I seen Julie at another local Home & Garden show so I stopped and talked to her about it. Circumstances prevented me from sending it in immediatley but when I did once again they sent it back saying they reprogrammed it and everything was running fine. NOPE! Hooked it up and before I could walk over and sit down on my couch it was off again! I have emailed Julie to let her know of the continuing problem. She told me that they watched 2 movies and it never shut off! I find that hard to believe when I can't even turn around and sit down on my couch without it going off again. So she tell me let me check your paperwork when I get back to the office. She emails me to tell me sorry can't do anything for you your warranty was up in February. I explained that the first time I tried to have this problem resolved was before my warranty expired. Her come back was sorry it took you too long to send it back but I can sell you a refurbished one for $100. I told her no thanks I would not be purchasing another box if this was their level of customer service and not standing behind their product warranty. She offered to send me another cord, the only thing wrong with that is the cord is fine it's the port that the cord plugs into. Her fix was to tell me to put a piece of TAPE on my $200 box and see if that works.! NO THANKS. BUYER BEWARE! I have found a cheaper alternative to her product and with a little research you will too.
The A box advertising is fraudulent. I never could get the box to work and is a waste of money. Beware of this product.
