I placed an order with 1Stop Lighting, I found the lamps I wanted and placed my order by mid morning with a promise of delivery by the following Thursday. I didn't get an immediate order confirmation, but sometimes it takes some time! Last evening I still hadn't received the order confirmation, so I called to see if it had gone through, though I definitely saw an order confirmation no. When I placed the order! I tried to call the next day, and the "digital" phone system hung up on me! My first indication that this would be a less than stellar interaction. I then tried the Chat as suggest on the phone, again I was connected with a BOT, great! Evenitally, I was passed off to a human, who was almost as helpful! John E, did confirm my orderbu said "it is under review." Review for what I asked? "Fraud" he said. Well, I asked again, why haven't I received a confirmation, you will get that when it's determined that "the order is valid" he said. I then said, "your website says "orders placed on a weekend will be received by the following Thursday. He refused to acknowledge that and went on to say "if you'ld llke we can deny your order and credit your card." Why would I want that, "I want the lamps I ordered." John E was anything but helpful nor willing to share why my order was under review. The best part is that at the end of the conversation, you get a review questionnaire for your chat session which failed in the middle of the questions it was asking! Buy somewhere else if you can!

I bought a light from this company. What I received differed from what was listed on the online website. I contacted customer service and was told that the order would be corrected. After waiting about a week, the correct items still had not been processed/sent. I decided to just cancel the order. I contacted customer service and they approved the cancelation and then sent me a fedex return label and there the problem really starts. The order I have is actually in 2 boxes as it is so big and so I need 2 labels with separate tracking number (which is how it was sent to me). Fedex told me that it could not be sent with a single label/tracking number. I contacted customer service told them what was going on and was told that they would get this taken care of. Several days later after no response, customer service was contacted again and I was told that this would be escalated to management and that I would be contacted by the end of the day of how to resolved this issue so a refund could be issued. Again, no contact from the company. This company has no way to actually talk with someone, everything has to be online. There are several other online lighting companies which offer good prices and the ability to actually physically talk with people when needed. I guess it is time to pursue other options to get this resolved and get my refund.
Never received information on shipping of my order despite checking back for several days on the website where customer supposedly can track their order. It gave me a message saying check back in 24 hours repeatedly for 4 days.
Called customer service, gave my order #, was transferred to an "expert" after 30 minutes ON HOLD.
She could not tell me if the item had been shipped. At this point, I had no confidence my order would arrive. I cancelled the order and am waiting to see if the charge is removed from credit card. Would not advise doing business with this place based on my experience with their poor customer service.

Be careful when ordering an "accessory" from 1Stop
The tech rep for Minka provided us with the incorrect part number to repair our ceiling fan. 1Stop fulfilled our online order based on the incorrect part number. Upon receipt we dismantled the fan and determined the part was not correct. (Not 1Stop's fault) After consulting with Minka we were given the correct part number and contacted 1Stop to return/exchange for the correct part.
NO GO - why you ask? 1Stop classified this part as an "accessory" and therefor not returnable. In reality without this electronic Motor Receiver the fan cannot function. I'd hardly call that an "accessory".

I purchased two ceiling lights on the site, because they showed as in stock, and we needed them quickly.
After placing the order, the message read "you will be notified within 24 hours of shipping" or something to that effect. So I assumed all was well.
A few days later, I realized I had never gotten a shipping confirmation, so I logged in to check tracking, and discovered it now read "will ship in approximately 72 days".
I had never gotten any email notification that the item was not in stock / on backorder.
That put our project behind schedule, because we had to order the fixtures from another site that is more reliable.
Very disappointing, and I would not order from 1StopLighting again based on this experience.
And yes, I did check my spam folder, and there were no notifications there, either.
They had a very good discount for first-time customers though, had I actually received the lights from them. That's why I gave two stars instead of one. I guess it was too good to be true.

This is really a garbage company, poor customer service, poor communication, delivered my item in a damaged box and it's already scratched. They don't want even to help in taking care of this issue, the call agent is so rude and disrespectful. Please stay away from this website. I will never buy from it again in my life period

! WARNING! If u are considering doing business with this company do yourself a favor and place your device on the table and step slowly away. U are about to enter into a business transaction that is going to end with hours of time wasted that u will never get back. Their policies are designed to deceive their customers. This company will Guarantee you next day shipping And then they will promise you if you don't have it next day they will give you $25 credit then you wait a couple months to receive your product but you never will. So we all know what you're gonna do next you're gonna call the company and try to cancel your order and here we go again another hour wasted on hold for them to tell you you canceled your order we're taking our $25 back and now you'll wait a couple more weeks at least for them to put the money back on your card now the time is past when you're paying interest on your card and maybe someday if they give it back your credit card company will then all your money this is the first review at 50 years old I've ever written in my life but I thought I would do everyone else a favor and at least warn you what you're getting into basically you're gonna lose A lot of time and money And have nothing to show for it. We ordered a light fixture on December 2 from 1stoplighting.com. I asked when I ordered it if it was in stock and was told yes, delivery in 3 days guaranteed! The third day came and went, and I called and was told it would be delivered by the end of week, and we are crediting you $25 since it did not arrive in the guaranteed time. It is now January 5, and no light has been delivered. I have contacted customer service repeatedly, given a bogus tracking number, and then today was treated extremely rudely by a woman who spoke over me, would not let me get my words out, then when I finally did there was silence on the line. I asked if she was still there, and she muttered, "Yes, I'm listening." And I said, "You have no response?" She curtly responded "no." She told me I had not waited the 48 hours it takes for them to respond to my inquiry of where my light fixture is. What a joke! This light was over $1,000 and no one can tell me where it is? Oh, and I can't cancel the order and order from a reputable company because they have no idea where it is. To say I'm disgusted with this company is a huge understatement.

I selected the item online and also received a great deal. The product arrived quickly, was thoroughly wrapped and arrived damage free on a pallet in my driveway. Was an easy process from start to finish.
The lights I ordered arrived and looked wonderful in my master bathroom but unfortunately two of the globes arrived broken. I called customer service and spoke to Kara who was wonderful and helpful in getting me a quick and easy replacement for the damaged items.

Answer: I originally chose the company because it was the best product for the best price I could find. I was looking for a large cabinet for the kitchen with most upper cabinets glass and stone lower hidden storage, as my kitchen cabinets are sparce. It was an investment piece but still cheaper than installing cabinets. I received that cabinet sooner than i anticipated but it had a dent on top and one of the doors stuck and was difficult to open and close. I followed up with the company and they ended up giving me a full refund even though the return policy states packaging must be intact. Thank goodness bc for me it was an investment and I would not have been happy using it daily without it being smooth. So although I originally chose them for a good product at a good price, I will continue costing them for their above and beyond customer service, easy to reach and pleasant staff, and knowing they are a stand up company that will do what is right and our the customer first! If you are hesitant don't be!
