I bought brake pads and rotors kit from 1a Auto for a Jeep Patriot. I pulled out one rotor and seen if it fits and it did not fit. I paid for shipping to send them back and 1a Auto said the parts were defected. This is not true. They advertised the wrong parts and I even paid for shipping.
I bought new struts from 1a auto inc in November, 2021 (5 months ago) for my wife's Honda Pilot. She only drives on regular roads and highways, and does not do any offroading or anything besides normal driving. She was driving on the highway on April 5th, 2022 when one of the struts broke in half. Luckily no one was hurt in the process. She had to get her vehicle towed to a local mechanic. They said they have never seen a new strut break like this in all there years as mechanics. The cost to replace the broken strut is around $500, not including a $150 tow bill, and rental car costs for my wife to get home and have a vehicle to drive. I asked 1a auto to do the right thing and only pay for the cost of replacing there broken strut, which themechanic. Upon further investigation, I see they have over 60 similar complaints on BBB where there new parts fall under normal driving condtions.
Ordered $225 in parts but needed to return them and was told it would be$70 for return shipping. I sent the parts and they sent me back $115 after I had to inquire on when I'd receive a refund... WTF
Definitely won't be doing anymore business with these folks
Oredered the wrong part and the A1 people made it easy to correct problem and with a great price, will use them everytime I need parts
I original car mats for my 2004 Altima, but I mistakingly bought the wrong color. They didn't have the color I needed, so I returned the mats for a refund. It took a little longer than I expected, but I did get my refund without any unexpected hassles.
I purchase a fuel pump for our Nissan Sentra, and I was so glad they had it, and at a great price. I love their how to videos, too. I love also how quickly they get things shipped, and the quality of the parts. I only wish they carried everything I need, but I still come here first to see if they stock it. Great company!
I've ordered from them many times and have been extremely happy overall. But far more important is that they make detailed YouTube videos on how to fix your car which are unparalleled! Before I saw their videos, I had to pay so much at auto repair shops. No more! I bought a jack, jack stands, other basic tools like ratchet sets (and the all important breaker bar for stubborn bolts), and now do most all the repairs on my 2015 Toyota Prius myself. It was incredibly empowering and liberating. I save so much money. I can understand that not everything is perfect as I read other reviews, but they are really doing a great public service by making it easy to DIY. (I swear I am not an employee or business partner writing this review, it is a sincere feeling of immense gratitude that I have in having this company help me and others so much).
I purchased both the TRQ wiper arm transmissions and the TRQ wiper arms for a 1998 GMC K1500. My concern was that if I used two different brands they may not connect together properly. The transmissions fit in just fine, no issues, but when I went to attach the arms to the transmissions they didn't fit. Neither driver nor passenger arms would attach. There is a little clip on the bottom of the arms that slides back and forth and on both arms, the clip didn't slide far enough over to allow you to slide these arms onto the transmissions. I took a grinder and a 4 pound sledge hammer to the transmission to modify them enough to get these arms on. I really hope that I don't have to remove them anytime soon. They had to be pounded on. The arms don't rest in the right area. The passenger arm is up midway on the windshield. Technically they function, but appearance is 3 out of 5 due to misalignment and fit is 1 out of 5 because they wouldn't go together even though they are the same exact brand. If you are not mechanically inclined to make things work, spend more for something that actually fits as it should. These are going to require you to do modifications to make them fit. I also had to take a grinder to my cowl because the driver side arm was hitting it rather hard. Overall rating, 2 out of 5. I seen one of their how to videos and it was what directed me to their site. It was the first time ordering from A1 Auto.
1A Auto excels in customer service! And the products they sell are top of the line. I don't remember ever being disappointed with 1A Auto. I often look to them for the parts I need.

Purchased a wheel hub assembly in April 2021. Installed and logged less than 10k miles on vehicle and the bearings are starting to go out. Contacted 1AAuto and was asked to provide VIN, part # from box it came in, and pictures of defective part! The VIN is easy enough, but not sure who keeps the box a part came in just in case you need to file a warranty claim. Could just be me. Now the request for pictures is a joke. If I have to go to the trouble of removing the tire, caliper, brakes, rotor, just to take a picture of a wheel hub, I might as well buy a new part from a reliable manufacturer and install it at that time. I'm not so concerned about buying a replacement part, but when a company advertises a "lifetime warranty" on their parts, they should also mention all the requirements that must be met for that warranty to be honored. Parts from 1AAuto might get you back on the road and save yourself some money, but at some point their inferior parts will fail and you'll be out of pocket more money and time repairing your vehicle once again.
I ordered two identical rubber door weather stripping for my truck. When they arrived, I took them out of the box. I installed one on the driver's front and extended cab door. It fit perfectly.
Then I began installing the other rubber weather stripping on the passenger front and extended cab door. I was concentrating on installing the weather stripping and didn't notice for a while that this stripping was about three feet short.
When I contacted 1a Auto the woman told me that I ordered the weather stripping on the passenger door for a three door truck. It is news to me because they don't even make a three door truck in the year of my truck.
The lady argued with me that they didn't make a rubber weather stripping for an extended cab truck. I told her that I ordered one from them and installed it. She finally researched it and found that they did.
I had to have this weather stripping because the old one has already been removed and the one that is too short is installed at the moment.
She wouldn't allow me to return the incorrect one and charged me full price for the correct one to finish my project. She didn't offer me a discount or paid postage or anything for the error that had been made.
I feel that she could have given me some sort of discount for the error that was made.
To say the least, I will NEVER order anything else from these people!
Do not trust this company, they sent me the absolute wrong part and insisted it was the correct part this company os a complete and total waste of time and money
This mirror does not fit a 2014 Honda Accord Coupe despite customer service confirming that it did based on the VIN number. The mirror looks the same but the plug does not fit. After emailing the company that I had painted the mirror and sending them photos proving the plugs were different, they told me to return it for a full refund. After doing that, they refused to refund my money because the mirror is painted. It was their mistake that the plug is not a match when they guaranteed the part would fit. Beware of unethical practices. I submitted this review to their website but they did not post it. There must be other customers whose part did not fit when they claim it is guaranteed to fit.
My overall experience with A1 was very pleasant. I received everything I ordered, and fit and finish was excellent. I would highly recommend to family and friends A1, and will certainly use them again.

Fantastic experience! The videos helped immensely and gave me the confidence I could do a job I'd never done before. After a porch pirate stole half my order, 1A Auto was great and shipped out a replacement immediately! They were WAY more helpful than UPS. I will DEFINITELY shop at 1A Auto again!
