Very Disappointed!

I paid $109 for flowers that were $60. I bought the $30 free shipping, but I was still charged for shipping. I had to cut and assemble the arrangement myself. Flowers didn't look very fresh. Looked more like a $30 arrangement. Very disappointed. I used a code to get extra points FOR SW, which I didn't get.

Poor quality.

Upon my mother receiving the flowers she was a bit bummed that some were damaged when they arrived to her place. Not even a few days later they bloomed very awkwardly and were not pleasing to the living room where she had placed them. Overall very underwhelming experience considering the amount I paid for the flowers.

KnowledgeableI have a wonderful history with 1-800-Flowers and until this last episode have given you high marks. It's been a while since my past order that I noticed it had an old email address. I contacted the service number listed. I ended up speaking to two different men asking how I might change my email address prior to placing the order. My concern was the confirmation number, tracing, etc, would end up going to my old email number that I cannot access. I went round and round trying to get the men to understand what I was saying. The second gentleman said he would be happy to place the order for me, but could not assure me that I could monitor my purchase. I finally decided I'd try it your way and began placing information. I asked the tech to read back something I had given me. After several attempts I hung up and reverted to a chat format. The young lady was knowledgeable, patient and worked with me. I continued to work with her and placed the order. She assured me that as soon as I placed the order I would be able to change my email address. I was able to accomplish all I needed to with a satisfactory experience. I wish my entire experience had been as positive as working with the chat technician. If you are going to outsource, at least use quality personnel. If you can I would appreciate your noting on my profile to use only those who speak English as their primary language. It will help all around.

Disappointed

The gardenias arrived in a less than satisfactory condition due to the packaging.
The soil was all over inside the box & the plant could not last a week without being transplanted. I would not recommend this item unless an alternative method was at least used to transport.

I had inadvertently chosen the wrong date for delivery and called to see if I could change the delivery date and I was told that I could and there would be an additional charge of $2.99 which I approved. However, the flowers were not delivered on 5/12 like I was told would happen and they were not delivered until 5/17.

I was disappointed that the delivery didn't happen as was confirmed to me and charged for the $2,99.

I ordered flowers for my wife. They did not arrive in a timely fashion at all. In fact I had to call customer service three times just to ensure that the delivery was made prior to her leaving work for the day. I was forced to tell her about (and ruin) what was supposed to be a surprise. She ended up waiting another thirty minutes after she was to leave for the day just to make sure she got them. Only to find out the florist was ten blocks away from where she works. The address clearly stated this was going to a business, a medical facility! This was not taken into account, I guess, when they prepped the order, which was stated they started at 10am. I'm very displeased with this service and will never use it again.
