I understand that I had these delivered just before Mother's Day but there is no excuse for the poor quality of these flowers. I specifically ordered this bouquet because I had sent one to my grandmother several months back. She literally continues to rave about the quality and beauty of this bouquet. The ones that were sent to my mother on Mother's day were far below my expectation of what I was ordering. Truly disappointed.
If you need flowers delivered, and don't mind the price, this is all you need! 1800-Flowers has never let me down.
I bought roses for my Grandmother for Mothers day.
They arrived on time, were beautiful and she loved them!
Only problem was the vase that came with them was to short for the roses and she did not want to cut the stems down short to fit into the vase.
Besides that, I am very happy with the order.

The FEDEX person that delivered to my moms house did not ring the doorbell so the flowers sat on her doorstep for hours. By the time she noticed something at her door the flowers were wilted. I asked for a Saturday delivery because my mom doesn't work that day and the inevitable happened. She said they were pretty but some did not make it through the next day.

Ordered kissing butterfly for mother's day. I have ordered multiple times in the past with excellent results. This time not so good. Flowers were wilted and died a few days after delivery.

I ordered two flower arrangements on 5/11/2017, the Thursday before Mother's Day - one for delivery to Bangor, ME, and one for delivery to Simsbury, CT. Both were confirmed for delivery on 5/12/17. The one for ME arrived on Friday, and I have a picture of a beautiful arrangement in a teapot. The order for Simsbury was not received until a week later, 5/18 at 4:25, after many calls, emails and apologies from 800 Flowers. I visited the recipient, my daughter in law, and asked to see the flowers. Answer: They arrived wilted and died the next day. She showed me the empty teapot. The delivery ticket from Snellgrove's in Windsor shows the name, address, phone and delivery date of 05/12/2017! How could a reputable florist expect a customer to be satisfied with a wilted, dying arrangement costing $60.00? How can 800Flowers remain in business if it cannot manage its contractors? An email from a Service Specialist on Saturday, 5/13 apologized and advised that her attempt to check the status with the florist was routed to voicemail. I never did hear why the flowers were not delivered on 5/12, as promised. Pathetic incompetence. My opinion might change if someone could give me an explanation for what happened. Receiving dying flowers is bad enough. Being ignored just rubs it in.
It was a mess. Flowers where all bent and broken on one side at vase level and crushed flat up next to the vase. Some of the flowers had a heavy layer of mold growing on them. I have used 1800 flowers before with fantastic results. They must have new workers or contract with the wrong local people. I made for a Bad Mothers day. I won't use there service again!
