They stole $448.74 from my bank account. They were supposed to give me 20% off but they didn't. I can't understand the customer service people and I don't know if they've issued a full or partial refund but they took all my money and want me to wait 7 business days for a refund. It's Saturday and my bank will open a fraud claim against them on Monday! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! OVERDRAFTED MY ACCOUNT! I guess the arrangement they sent was beautiful but it doesn't make up for the fact that I was robbed!
They are HORRIBLE! They trick you into buying things by offering you promo codes then tell you that they are the ones that will put it in for you and they never do it, they screwed me over THREE times when they kept saying they would fix it and made me cancel it then pay for it again all three times. I took screenshots of their lies in chat and will try to post them for you all, so check it out before you even bother PLEASE DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR
Ordered flowers for my boss, who lost her mother. They were ordered Sunday, for next day delivery. Monday, I got an email that the order was in process, then got a phone call that they couldn't get to it today and it'd be Tues. Come Tuesday, I messaged in the morning and was told it was on the truck for delivery and was guaranteed by 5. It never showed. I called Tues night and was told by a very scared man, that the local florist they used had messaged them, stating they could not fill the order and they were looking for advice. So, even though I was told it was on the truck for delivery, it had actually never even been made. I tried getting a supervisor and had to give my info for a call back. That was two days ago and I never heard back. I cancelled and ordered with ProFlowers that had my order delivered in TWO HOURS. Furious with this company...
I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers a few days ago and the note said the flowers were from "God." An extremely judgmental/corrective scripture followed (James 4:7-10). To say the least, I was bothered. I called this location of 1-800-Flowers, who was the brand on the note. The lady who answered was very kind, but she said she didn't know who ordered the flowers, as the order was actually placed with FTD, and I needed to call them instead. When I called FTD, it was obvious I was calling another country. The woman on the other end of the line couldn't understand me, and I couldn't understand her. Background noise, delay, language barrier... It was a very frustrating experience. I explained that the message was creepy, and I needed to know who sent the flowers. I was told that due to their privacy policy, they could not reveal the sender. I tried to escalate to management, but no luck. After three calls, an American, English-speaking woman picked up. Finally! When I calmly explained the situation, she actually began raising her voice at me, ranting that "It's a BIBLE VERSE!" and therefore not something I should be upset about. I again explained that the context of the scripture is actually very insulting, and it was anonymously from "God." Honestly, who sends flowers anonymously anyway (particularly with a passive-aggressive message from "God") unless you are a creeper, a stalker, a bully, or just plain crazy? Bottom line is that orders should not be able to be sent anonymously to protect recipients from senders in these categories. A one-sided privacy policy leaves the recipient in a vulnerable position without an advocate. Because of this antiquated and unethical policy, I feel harassed without much recourse. I would've much rather not have received the arrangement at all due to the insulting and ominous note that accompanied it, and now I have no way of knowing who did this. I'm very disappointed in 1-800-Flowers, who happily accepts anonymous orders directly--as well as from intermediaries like FTD like in this case--and only enabled and contributed to the fiasco outlined above. Shame on you both! For all these reasons, avoid FTD and 1-800-Flowers and use a local shop instead. These corporations only seem to follow the money and don't care about the end user. If all florists accept anonymous senders, that is a universal policy that should definitely be changed across the board. But giants like FTD and 1-800-Flowers should set an ethical example and a higher industry standard for the little guys.
Ordered flowers for my mother's 90th. By mistake didn't put her address in. I immediately tried to change it but there's no way to correct the mistake on line l. So I called customer service. It's somewhere in Eastern Europe with horrible crackly phone service. It took 5 torturous phone calls to set this right. Never again. Next time I'll find a local florist and call directly. Probably much cheaper too.
Flowers not delivered, though they say they were. Customer service is terrible. Customer service is in the Philippines, and they work from home. Please go elsewhere.
What I paid for and what was received is absolutely not what the picture looked like. I could have bought a grocery store bouquet that looked better. Never use 1800flowers again!
You can't count on them to deliver on time. They missed delivery on my daughter's birtday by several days
Ordered flowers 2 nights ago for next day service and two days later still no flowers. Had to beg their 1800 number which is in the Philippines for a refund. They continually try to upscale you after they can't even get the first order right.
I ordered an item from 1800Flowers on 12/29 for $131.40. Received a confirmation email for the order. The same day 1800Flowers canceled the order with no notification. The only way I found Out that the order was canceled is to call the recipient to learn they had not received anything and then to call 1800Flowers. When I called 1800Flowers they first informed me that I would only receive a partial credit back...? That made zero sense. So I insisted to receive my full refund back. Finally I was told I would receive a full refund and a confirmation email to that affect. Never received the confirmation email from them. Never will ever use this company again.
I ordered a flower arrangement for my 95 year old mother on 12-18-20, to be delivered the day before her birthday, 12-28-20. Five days after I placed the order I received a phone call from a lady who spoke very broken English, telling me the arrangement I ordered is not available. I asked if I could pick an alternate arrangement from the selection on line. She became very short with me and hung up the phone. I was unable to get through to anyone at 1-800-flowers. I left messages, tried the chat and email. Finally someone called me back, on my mother's birthday, saying they were returning my call. She kept saying "I understand" but she didn't! I ordered another arrangement, supposedly with a discount for my inconvenience. To my surprise, the next day they charged my bank account with 2 more charges for flowers for a total of 3 charges for 1 arrangement. Now they say they will credit the 2 charges, but it will take 3-7 business days, and the flowers to my mother will not be delivered until January 5. My mother received nothing from me on her birthday, but a couple cards I mailed. What a horrible business they are running!
Apparently 1800flowers took over Sharis Berries. Worst experience and waste of money I've ever encountered. I have ordered the delicious berries you see in the pictures before and they were amazing. Big, juicy beautiful strawberries. What I received... twice! Was quarter sized, dirty berries with icing dripped on the dirty wilted stems that had holes in them. I called to complain and they said they'd send me out a new box. Second box, though the box didn't look reused like the first one, was worst than the first. I called again. Said they'd send out a new one. That was 4 days ago. Never received it. I personally think a rating of 1 is being overly generous. Come to find out, my sister had the exact same issue, complained also and was told they could do nothing.
I am so disappointed in the service and products I received this holiday. I ordered 20 items this holiday, most of them over a month in advance. A few items were never sent at all, one I wasn't even notified that it wouldn't be delivered until 10pm on Christmas Eve! Several that did get delivered didn't look anything like they were advertised! Their response is only ever that they will give you $20 to use on a future purchase! I wish I could add photos to this site to show you. I won't use this service ever again!
We ordered flowers and were advised via email that they were delivered, but the vendor they chose, lied. Better to choose your own vendor in the town you want delivery from a local florist. This is second time this happened to us
This is by far the worst flower deliver company I've ever worked with. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, because once they mess us they don't charge you to resend. But after the 10th mess up, and delivery dates change, you kind of get frustrated. I've missed birthdays, holidays, and just because occasions, because they lack the desire to please the customer. They just want your money. Your scheduled day doesn't matter to them. My tipping point was my last order with them I received an email confirmation of delivery, but my recipient did not receive the flowers. I called customer service and the lady that answered named Carol hung up. I then called back and spoke to Janes, who told me the flowers that I ordered would be delivered at some point and sometimes they confirm deliveries even if they haven't been delivered yet. Please, do not use them if you want your flowers delivered on the day that you request in a professional manner. Find another option!
Ordered flowers, a bouquet that cost over $70.00, for a friend in FL. The bouquet was supposed to have a box of chocolates included and a card with my greeting. What she got was 6 white roses and some plastic green stems with red berries no box of chocolates and a card that had a generic greeting with my name. It looked like something you could buy at Walmart for about $6.00. I contacted 1-800 Flowers using the chat feature on their web site. I was assured they would correct the mistake and send the right bouquet. I waited a couple days and didn't get a follow-up email with a new order and tracking number. I called and spoke to someone who had a heavy accent and was hard to understand. She was very polite and placed a new order but with a different arrangement consisting of two dozen assorted roses. I got a confirmation email with an order number and tracking number. The flowers were supposed to be delivered on 12/22. They didn't arrive. I contacted 1-800 F again using the chat feature because I didn't want to be placed on hold for a long period. I explained the problem and once again I was assured they would make it right. I was placed on hold while the rep checked on my previous order and then I was cut off. That was the last straw. I had charged the order so now when I get my bill from the credit card company I will dispute the charge and not pay it. I will never do business with this company and I caution anyone who reads this review to read the reviews here and other places and not the reviews on the 1-800 Flowers website.
I asked if something can be updated and they replied with the can I have your name and order number which is fine. The issue is sending me what my order is then asking can I help with anything else. First off, you didn't help in the beginning. They then stated they couldn't help with my request and asked if I wanted them to connect me to another agent. Why in the world would I want you to connect me to another agent just like you that can't help. That's really dumb.
Flowers were ordered on 12/16/20 and extra paid for arrival on 12/19/20 directly to funeral home. Late evening of 12/20/20 noticed email from 1-800-flowers stating at 10 am on 12/19/20 flowers would be delivered on 12/19/20. At 6:02 pm received another email that delivery was attempted but unsuccessful and they would "reattempt" and would "email a delivery confirmation". Funeral home was open 24 hours a day so unclear why delivery was unsuccessful. Their website not showing any attempted delivery only that order was "confirmed".
Customer service called 8 pm 12/20 since no delivery confirmation nor any communication that they made any reattempts.
Customer service said IF they had known these were sympathy flowers they would have made sure they were delivered early am of 12/19/20, and would have made several re-delivery attempts. These flowers were ordered under the " Sympathy" tab and were called " Healing Tears" and were in memory of and sent to a funeral home! Complete incompetence. Customer service said delays were due to " holiday" and if they had "known this was a sympathy order" it would have gotten there! What?!?!? Customer service said they had until 9 pm to get flowers to funeral-home after I asked for a refund. They said they would contact florist and call me back ASAP- they never did. The funeral service was am of 12/21/20 ( 5 days after order was placed with high shipping charges) and NO FLOWERS!
I called 1-800 flowers again 12/21/20 after the funeral service livid that flowers were not there and demanded a refund. They wanted to give me a 50% refund and would send these flowers wherever I wanted! The service was over, all other family member's and friends had flowers there surrounding the casket and to take to cemetery- it was too late in my opinion. They then agreed to issue my 100% refund.
As of 12/21/20 there was NO reattempt at any delivery. Won't use this company again since unprofessional and they clearly contract with unreliable local florists.
Better off going directly to a local florist since they will lose local business if they do not deliver because you will know WHO they are and they can't hide behind 1-800-flowers.
Our company ordered a "tis the season fruit arrangement for our supervisor as a Christmas gift and it was delivered looking nothing like the picture on the website. We immediately called customer service and they said they could not redeliver until after the holidays who wants a arrangement after the holidays? DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!
I ordered flowers for a funeral service three days ahead of time. I found out from the family that the flowers were not there for the service. I called to find out that they had arrived that evening, several hours AFTER the service was over.
This was not like ordering a bouquet to go to a friend, right? The intention is to be there for an event, so that the family knows you're thinking of them and there is a nice display of condolences and remembrance at the service.
What recourse did they offer me? To "redeliver" the flowers. Yes, that means to pick them up from the funeral home and take them to the local family members... the day after the funeral. I told them I wanted a full refund because the reason for the flowers was for them to be present AT THE FUNERAL. Most family members have already traveled home, the event has been missed? Their response: because the actual flowers were delivered (to an empty funeral home where the event is over and done), they could only offer me a "partial credit" because they delivered the product. WHAT?
After a dozen rounds of who else can I talk to I finally agreed to a 50% refund that will take up to two weeks to return to my account, because I figured that was as far as I would get. Oh, and since I'm taking the 50%? They rescind the offer to redeliver the flowers to local family.
I will never, ever, ever use this company again. My advice, if what you're ordering flowers for is important? STAY AWAY!
Answer: Service is terrible! Will never use them or reccomend to anyone! Use your local florist
Answer: Unreliable service! Worst flower delivery service EVER! BIG SCAM!
Answer: Well, although they may say they're on their way, technically, Jesus is also on his way. Coming anytime now!
Answer: No, it is a consumer based answer.
