Sent a bouquet to a relative for her birthday and she was able to enjoy them for a full 3 weeks. She sent me weekly pictures of the beautifully blooming and blossoming bouquet telling me how much she was enjoying them. I was so please with my purchase I wanted to give kudos and share.

Never delivered for a funeral
March 17, 2021

The flowers were never delivered to the funeral home. The funeral home and the mother of the deceased both said they never got any flowers and they have no motive to lie. I received a confirmation email stating they were delivered but I do not believe it. They will not give info on who they contracted service through and claimed when they called the local florist who they contracted that they were getting the voicemail. They only offered a 50% credit towards a future order which is UNACCEPTABLE! They have ZERO proof that they were ever delivered. I am waiting for a call back and I am prepared to take this as far as I can go. They let us all down at what was already such a tragic time...

They offer no proof of delivery and will not tell me which local florist they supposedly contracted with.

Very disappointed with your delivery person, because my address is located two places in front of my house and flowers was delivered next to a vacant house. My husband realized six days after, all withered and died. No I would not recommend. Support the local flower shop

Don't buy from this company!
I ordered same day delivery flowers bouquet, after placing my order I discovered 17.90 service fee. I called the company right away and asked to cancel this order.
The representative puts me on hold (6am) for 30 minutes (!) Just to let me know that I cannot cancel the order.

3 phone calls later, I was promised that this order will be cancelled and my money will be refunded. Imagine my surprise when 2 hours later I've got an email that said that my order was delivered. But it never did never got the flowers and 2 days later, still argued about the refund.

Don't buy from this company!

I ordered a year ago and today I get a text stating I had a non refundable order on the way. Went to check the account and they are trying to charge me a passport fee that they say I agreed to a year ago in the fine print. The flowers they sent were the same as Walmart, not worth what they charge you.

Failed... miserably

As with many of the other reviewers here, my experience was terrible. No delivery, many excuses, multiple phone calls, multiple emails - all of which were littered with misinformation. Promised a refund. No refund. Promised a refund within 7 business days. No refund. Promised a refund in 30-45 business days... realized at that point that this company is nothing more than a scam. Paid with PayPal so might actually get a refund in time but not holding my breath. If it isn't already too late, please do not use this company.

When I discovered an order I wanted same day delivery on wouldn't be delivered until 10 days later, I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order. I also contacted pay pal and removed 1-800-Flowers from auto payment. Customer service rep I talked with not minutes after placing my order stated he would attempt to reroute order for delivery and contact me. I recv'd no call that day or the next regarding the status of my order getting cancelled. Then the next day I receive an email stating my order had been shipped. Today, I contact another customer rep inquiring why my order was shipped after it had been cancelled. He stated the order couldn't be changed or cancelled because it had already been accepted for processing. When I asked the name of the place that is creating and delivering the order I was told they didn't know who it was. So my order was processed to be created and delivered without my consent or payment.

Late Delivery
March 2, 2021

Ordered flowers for my wife for our 31st anniversary and paid extra to have them delivered to her place of business 12-3pm. I called at 3 for status and person said they would be there by 4pm. I called at 4pm for status and said they would be there by 5pm. Granted my wife leaves work at 4pm! She waited until 5pm and still no delivery. She drives away at 5:15 when she gets a call that they're there with the delivery. This was a huge inconvenience and all they were able to do is give me credit on delivery service and return the fee for the 12-3 guarantee delivery. BTW flowers were beautiful!
3rd time customer and last for me. Customer service was no HELP!

Flowers will arrive 1 Month after Funeral
February 28, 2021

I placed an order for a $150 spray for a funeral that was to be held on a Saturday. I placed the order on Thursday for that Friday delivery so the flowers would be at the funeral home a day early for the funeral on Saturday morning. Upon arrival at the Funeral home, I noticed that my spray was not present and inquired with the funeral home staff. They checked and advised they did not receive any delivery. I called 800Flowers only to find out that the flowers will be delivered one month later. (I ordered the flowers on line, as I had done in the past, and when placing the day for delivery, I clicked on that Friday, one day following the day of my order. The calendar screen popped up and without thinking, just clicked the 26th, and moved on to complete the order. Well it seems that the Friday of the 26th of the follow month was the same as this month. I cannot be sure it the calendar displayed was for Feb or Mar as only one month was on it.) The person that was allegedly helping me on the other end, after finding out that I was at the funeral at the funeral home, then suggested or asked, would I like to have the flowers delivered at a later date. At that point I knew I must be talking to either a moron or an machine that had been programmed by one. I told him to cancel the order and return my money. I concluded the call immediately before saying something I shouldn't. Since my day had been totally ruined by this experience, I have had time to think about it. One, why would an ordering site even allow flowers to be ordered for a funeral one month in advance? Think about it. That's scary to say the least. Why would an associate of that company suggest delivering flowers that were for a funeral to be delivered at a later time? I did get the refund and I will use that event as the last milestone in my relationship with 800Flowers. Never again!

Paid extra for my flowers to have a next day delivery, due to it being a very special occasion. Received notice they were delivered at 6:34 PM. I was at the recipients home at that time and they were not delivered, nor at any other time. The next day, customer service was going to call florist and find out what happened. They were to call me back, but never did. Called again, spoke to manager. He didn't care to even talk about a solution, and just got quiet... I was so fed up... their managers are worse than their customer service reps. I just finally requested a full refund on my credit card. Hopefully this will be taken care of... they ruined the occasion. Do not send flowers with 1-800-flowers, if it is important that they are delivered.

Damaged delivery and lies

Plant arrived a week late in a damage box. The pot was shattered and only held together by the plastic wrap. They offered a replacement but that never came, neither did the second one. Both times the excuse was it's out of stock. They don't check this before placing the order aparently. They offered a refund if I sent it back but then refused the return shipment.

I got my wife and daughter orders for Valentines day which were supposed to be delivered the day before Valentines day. I got my wif two orders and my daughter a bunch of roses. They reached out to me by email to tell me my wife's orders could not be delivered on the day I wanted them so I called and kindly asked for a refund. I sat on hold for 45 minutes fir her just to tell me to check back. My daughters order was late so I called back way more frustrated because I spent 250.00 on three orders and none of them where on time and I now had to deal with calling them again. They told me they would refund my orders in 5 to 7 days so I waited. I did get refund for 2 orders. My daughters order came 3 days late and when they did come they where frozen solid and brown. I am assuming they didn't refund my daughters order because they knew it was delivered. I will take some blame for this debacle. I should have called my local florist and gave them the business. I am debating if I should even bother trying to get my order refunded. I might actually be worth it to me to just let them have it. They tied up my money for 7 days, they wasted my time for 2 hours waiting on hold so far, they didn't deliver on time and the flowers where frozen. I will copy and paste this and post it everywhere I can.

WORST COMPANY AND A CUSTOMER SERVICE WHERE YOU ARE TRANSFERED TO THE PHILIPPINES AND WHO ARE WORTHLESS. ORDERED A $200 FUNERAL REEF FOR MY UNCLE WHO PASSED FROM COVID AND THEY SENT AN EMAIL SAYING IT WAS DELIVERED BUT IT NEVER ARRIVED. THEY RIP YOU OFF! HEARTLESS COMPANY! 0 STARS!

Wasn't what I had ordered

I ordered vibrant blooms and chocolate, paid $140 all together half way through shipping my order got changed to assorted roses. Still got charged for the full purchase but didn't get a refund for the money that wasn't needed. I called customer service to fix it they said they are looking into it and making the corrections and that they would call me back. Haven't heard anything back even after multiple calls to get the order fixed or a refund. Also the flowers that did arrive half of them are dead and was not at all what was promised in the purchased.

WORST EVER... 2 Years in a row! I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother in law last year for her birthday (2/22/20), received an email saying flowers delivered. I had given my father in laws phone number on the order in case they needed to contact someone so the flowers would be a surprise. That night my father in law called me so say nothing ever arrived. I called and complained, the representative to offered to deliver the flowers 2 DAYS LATER and give me a discount on my next order. I explained her birthday is today not 2 days from now and I want my money back. I also asked how did I get an email saying it was delivered if it wasn't. The rep then tells me ‘upon looking into it, they attempted to deliver but was unable to' I asked why didn't they call the phone number on the order. I was given no answer for that. Fast fwd to today 2/22/21. I ordered flowers and a balloon for delivery today again this year for my mother in law... exact same scenario! I received a text at 6:52pm saying flowers delivered. I texted my mother in law at 730pm because I was surprised she had not called me. She called me clueless because again she did not receive her flowers. I called to complain AGAIN to get the exact same excuses ‘let me set it up for delivery again', ‘the delivery was attempted', ‘I will send you $20 off your next order', and even had the audacity to offer me a partial refund of my money! Not to mention it took 3hrs to speak with someone! My mother in law got nothing, why would I let you keep part of my money was my response. I asked to speak to a supervisor and rep had the nerve to ask me why? But of course no supervisor is available, I was told to call again to ‘try and find a supervisor'. Again I asked why did I get a text if nothing was delivered. I asked for the name of the flower shop that was supposed to do the job, I was told they can't disclose that information. He said he processed my refund but couldn't give me confirmation # or anything I have to wait for an email that I still had not received 5 minutes later as we were still on the phone. 1-800 Flowers never has to worry about get a penny of my money ever again!

Terrible

Ordered flowers, two balloons and a bear. I don't buy flowers often but if I do ill always go through 1800flowers. Well, until now. The order was made on yesterday which I paid extra for next day shipping. The order came but was missing part of my order. I contacted a rep through chat and the person I was chatting with sounded to be a smart axx. I advised the person that my order was missing and the person told me to pretty much wait for the bear to be delivered. I asked why didn't it come with the flowers and balloons since it was only in bad taste for the bear to be delivered afterwards. The person pretty much advised me the order is on its way and to wait. I asked for my money back for the bear and that was a no-go. I then asked if they could add a single rose or a card with the bear that was also a no-go... I will not go through them again. Just bad taste

Unhappy customer

I recently ordered "Magnificent roses, Preserved Gold Kissed Roses" from 1800flowers.
They were for my daughter in law birthday and I even payed extra to get them delivered on time.
The flowers arrived one day late. I called 1-800 flowers customer service and they were totally unhelpful. They told me the only thing they can do for me was to give me $20 credit against the next purchase.
I refused such offer as I will never order form them again. It is the third order from them in the last three month that I was unhappy with.
We had to drive all the way to our son's home to deliver the flowers, that we wanted our daughter in law to get when they visited us for her to celebrate her birthday.
To make things even worth, when she opened the box, one of the rose heads was damaged.
On m y birthday (December 14th) both my son and my husband ordered flowers for me. My son ordered a bouquet and my husband ordered life orchids. The flowers in the bouquet lasted only one day, and the orchids were small and lasted less than the orchids we use to buy for Whole Foods or Costco, even though they were 8 times more expensive.
My husband ordered again roses for me for Valentine's and by evening the heads of the roses were already hanging.
1-800flowers in my opinion deserves 0 points, but the minimum rating available is 1, so I gave it a 1.

I ordered flowers for delivery for the day prior to Valentine's Day. No flowers arrived so I called and was told they would contact the store. Still no flowers on Valentine's Day no text status messages, no email status follow up. Nothing. I called to cancel this morning. They offered to send them out, I said pointless as too late, they offered a reduced price and coupons for future, again pointless they then offered even more reduced price and coupons. Really! I'm going to trust you with another order... When you make a mistake own it and fix it. I understand things happen but if I were them I would be "very" sorry and give flowers for free to make up for the issue. That would be true customer service. Realize I placed two orders this weekend alone so should value customers more. Never again! I'll order directly from a local flower store next time. Follow on update- they called me and again offered a 20 dollar coupon and eventually to replace free of change (which at this point luckily I had already ordered from a local flower shop). I though OK so the recipient gets two bunches now- whatever. Well the replacement never arrived on the day scheduled so I called again the next day and after a heated discussion (sorry I was beyond frustrated at this point) flowers eventually arrived on Wednesday. On checking my credit card they still charged me 50%. Don't even bother with 1-800 flowers... not worth the disappointment or frustration. I will shop local from now on if at all possible. And in the unlikely event they are reading and want to fix this the tracking number is *******.

Very disappointed

I wanted to send flowers on valentines to bc my girl friend in the states. Searching through google I came across 1 800 flowers and decided to use them gor a first time in my life, what a disappointment.
I rang from the Uk international line an advisor picked up phone within seconds asked me to hold for a minute. Well I was on the line for 32 minutes music after music playing then she came back apologised for the delay which was fair I can understand, however I decided to place an order to bc be delivered on Valentine's Day.

She recommended I buy the roses as they were on special gor a pack of 9 roses chocolates teddy bear and a card. Including delivery of 14.99 dollars my total bc was 102 US dollars. She repeated my order 3 times to bc make sure I was happy with the teddy bear chocolates and flowers. A fter giving my card details and processed the transaction she confirmed all was ok from my recipient address to tel numbers and my personal email.
15 minutes after the sale I received a call from a different advisor confirming the delivery address again? I bc asked why were they asking me again? Her answer was it was blanc nothing was written ok I bc gave them the delivery address again and confirmed my order again... the following day like a joke I had 5 other calls all different advisors asking me for recipient address? I bc mean an extra 5 different advisors? I bc asked a question why are you not writing the address in the system and so far 7 people have rang me from the USA to confirm the same address?
To make matters worse my flowers arrived on 16./02/2021 day after my valentines and the sad thing was no chocolates no teddy bear and no card very disappointing.

Not even a card which I had repeated several times in giving details to the advisors.
I rang to complain on 17/02/2021 spoke to customer service. She kept me on phone gor another 28 minutes trying to get her supervisor to speak to me and came back to say they are busy but they will call you? It's 19/02/2021 no phone calls emails or an apology
I am so disappointed with the service and will never buy anything from them again.
Very poor service, unbelievable that a compony like them treat customers like that very sad
