Thought I'd save some time ordering roses for Valentine's Day —- boy do I regret it! They came LATE, in separate tight bundles so it looked like a wholesale job, and they completely fell apart when I took them out. My wife thought I was trying to send her a message. Ruined the day. Called to complain and they refunded 100%, but still the damage is done.

Customer Service Issues
February 14, 2022

Flowers were erroneously listed on my account as having arrived in the AM. In fact, the flowers did not arrive until 8:00 PM.

Spent over two hours on the phone talking to customer service in another country who could not, or would not, transfer me to a supervisor.

Overall an unenjoyable experience dealing with this company.

I paid $176 dollars for an "extra large" arrangement that showed up two days earlier than requested and was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Contacted customer service and he described what I should have received and it wasn't even close to what was actually delivered.

Very insensative

Ordered 4of the stuffed heart memory pillows for my daughters, as they just lost their father at Christmas from COVID for Valentines, figured they couldn't mess up this up as it wasn't flowers, but 2of the 4 did not have my message included, didn't know who it came from or what for. I called, didn't care.

Terrible service

First off the lied from the get go. Pull you in with a 20% off code that didn't work at checkout. Then they change my delivery date without asking and refused to change the order date. 100% will never use them again. Go local for good service. Trust me

WHERE'S THE CHOCOLATE?

Ordered what were supposed to be chocolate covered strawberries. But the coating didn't taste like chocolate, so I checked the ingredients–NO CHOCOLATE! Mostly sugar and palm oil, plus a bit of cocoa powder. To top it off, the strawberries were as green as grass. YUCK!

So $50 for a dozen bitter strawberries dipped in UNchocolate.

WHAT A RIPOFF!

I ordered a medical office staff an edible arrangement to thank them. It was delivered at 4:15 and they close at 5. And I had to call and notify them this was a business and they close at 5, as the recording stated it would be delivered by 8 Pm. In calling customer service, I was perplexed by how clueless the rep was of their own business model. His attitude was that it would be delivered when it would be delivered. So, I voluntarily spent $80.00 to send fruit, to a staff, to enjoy, and they get it while walking out the door for the day?…. Not again. Next time I will call a local florist to coordinate something or just do it myself. Customer service seems to have reached an all time low and this place is leading the way.

Flowers not deilvered

I ordered flowers on 2/5/2022 to be delivered for my daughter's Birthday on 2/7/2022. 1st 1-800 flowers called me and said the local florist did not have the flowers that were in the arrangement I ordered. Then the local florist never delivered the flowers but charged me for the flowers. Will never order from them again! I gave them 1 star because the system would not let me leave a review without a rating

I would never recommend or use this site again for their services.
I had so many issues starting from the florist that was used ( Beautiful Blooms Florist on Yonkers Avenue) initially and the bouquet they had sent was nothing like the original order placed and the flowers started to die the next day and this particular florist did not want to replace this order and told me to call 1-800Flowers. This was so unprofessional.
I called 1-800Flowers and explained the situation they said they sent a replacement to my home on 2 separate occasions and I never received these deliveries and verified that I have Ring and no one came to my home with any deliveries.
This was a very frustrating and unsolved issue and I will be contacting the sender to request their money back which was a very expensive purchase on their part!
I hope this review will help others and prevent you from experiencing what I just have during a difficult time in our lives.

I purchased a birthday arrangement for delivery on a specific date. On the date of the delivery I recieved a call that what I had purchased and paid for was out of stock and they would deliver it three days later. I asked if I could get a replacement item and still get it delivered on time. I was told that yes I could and due to my issue they would upgrade the order at no charge. The day comes and goes with no delivery. I call customer service and was told that the replacement item was out of stock and they could deliver in a few days. I didn't get any notification of this issue and was told on the phone that it would deliver on time. What poor customer service and communication. Please use a different service.

Horrible service
February 4, 2022

I order for staff on a regular basis, but stopped using 800 flowers for a time due to poor service, late delivery and flowers not looking like what i paid for at all. After several months, I decided to try once more. I paid for specific morning delivery and at 1 pm when it still was not delivered was told they have until. Our office closes at 4 pm and this specifically needed to be there this morning. Staff that answers chats so not care and have no customer relation skills. This is extremely frustrating and pathetic for such a large company.

Bad service

Ad says same day delivery if ordered by 2:30 I placed my order by 11:00 I got a message, that it won't be delivered until the next day, they wouldn't let me cancel, the next day I get a message saying, the the order is delayed, and not sure when it will be delivered, still won't let me cancel, offered half off delivery fee,

Save your time and money

I order flowers for my grandmas 70th birthday. Not only did the flowers not show up At all. I had to repeatedly call to try and get any information. I was hung up on and placed on several holds and ultimately was offered no explanation As to why. Their idea of a resolution was to call the recipient and offer an apology. While the costumer service rep did her best to resolve my complaint she was not authorized to give a complete refund. Ultimately I did get a full refund but was completely disappointed by the company as a whole and will never place another order. My advice skip this big business ordering that obviously does care about customer satisfaction and order locally.

I recently switched over jobs and my bf ordered me a bouquet and balloons to surprise me on my new job and when I got home they never arrived so my bf told me about the surprise and got on the phone with customer service, they said they could not deliver due to weather... we live in beautiful San Diego where the weather all week has been sunny and 70 degrees. We were told the next day by 9pm they should be here and while I had a feeling they wouldn't come I still held out hope and again... never came. My bf used 4 you flowers when we did long distance and had flowers delivered same day from ordering in a completely different state with absolutely no hassle and 1 800 flowers can't even deliver in 70 degree weather. We have requested a refund but after reading some of the reviews I doubt we will get one. After a little research we have found that 1 800 flowers also hurts local florists with their third party prices that often time florists have to put less effort into the bouquets so that they don't actually lose money from the transaction. Just order directly from a local florist. Honestly I hope every single person who works for 1 800 flowers gets painful hot diarrhea for a week. The kind that leaves you burning and sweaty. Ruined my new job surprise in the name of their capitalistic scam of a company. May you suffer at least 45 min on the toilet.

Do not use this company! Awful customer service and they charged me twice and still waiting for the refund. They put you on hold to pacify you and nothing gets resolved. Can never get to speak to a supervisor. I been a retail mgr. For over 20 years and would never treat my customers this way.

I read the bad reviews but decided to give them a try, but I won't use them again. They got the delivery address wrong, and they didn't deliver it on the day that I asked. (My Daughter's Birthday) Once you place the order online you cannot change it. It goes immediately to FEDEX and cannot be updated. Spent an hour on the Phone 3 different times trying to correct delivery address mistakes. When you call Customer Service the Agent is from another country and you can't understand what they are saying. Next time I will call a local florist. Horrible Customer Service

WON'T USE EVER AGAIN - DISAPPOINTED TWICE!

In August 2021, I ordered floral delivery for daughter in law funeral in Scottsdale, AZ. Order on Tuesday, to be delivered on Thurs. Service was on Friday. Thursday evening, the flowers had not been delivered. I check order status and the order had been cancelled! No email, no response, nothing. Turns out, no florist would deliver to the Reservation and instead of contacting me, they cancelled the order. I had to find a local florist (on Labor Day weekend) to deliver to my hotel that next morning and then drive the arrangement to the facility myself. STRIKE ONE. On 1/14/22, I ordered a gift basket on the website which promised to be delivered on 1/15/22 by 8p.m. To a residence in Dearborn, MI. That evening, I check the status of delivery and the "estimated" delivery date was now 1/19/22 - four days later! Again, no notice, no contact, nothing.
