I'm absolutely not happy with the arrangement I ordered for a dear friend 's mom funeral. See attached of the actual arrangements delivered vs the one I picked online. I select the biggest size of the flowers that it can be and it looks small and does not look like the one I choose. Very disappointed. 1800Flowers won't be my pick at all in the future and I will not recommend to any one of my friend.
Send a sympathy fruit bouquet to one of my employees, Paid for same day delivery and this is what they received... sent over a $100 dollars on this...
Twice, TWICE, in two days I completed orders for an arrangement to be sent to my aunt's funeral in Annapolis, MD. With the first, i got a voicemail the next day saying that arrangement wasn't available in the zip *******, the CAPITOL of MARYLAND. The order was cancelled and I went again to the web site. I was given options of arrangements that were available in the ******* zip code. I was called today and told that they couldn't find a florist to handle the delivery. I cancelled the order. Even though payment was processed immediately, the refund is guatanteed within 5 TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS. Run from this company. It's that bad!
I placed an order with 1800Flowers like I have so many times before when you need flowers sent right away. My friend had lost her dog of 16 years, and I know there will be a lot of people who say "get over it, it was a dog" and others will understand. If you're in the first camp, just scroll on... My friend received her flowers within hours but sent me a note that said "Thanks you are too kind. BTW- I don't totally understand the card. Is it Biblical? Or is someone getting an engagement arrangement with a sad pet passing note?"
The attached picture of the card was a major error! I immediately started a chat with 1800 and sent the photos and they asked "How can we make this right?" I said "At a time where accuracy and timeliness counts, you fell short. I feel like you should give me a partial credit back to my account, at least take off the delivery charge." Their response was a basic HELLZ NO. I won't be using them again, and I've done business with them for well over 20 years.
They don't deliver what you order and when they redeliver it's still not right and all the flowers were dead in 2 days. Save your money!
Ordered flowers for a birthday. Purchased 2 add on balloons, 1 Happy Birthday balloon & 1 Get Well Soon balloon. Order delivery confirmation email received and it shows the arrangement and 2 balloons as delivered. The recipient sent me a text picture that the arrangement was delivered with 1 Get Well Soon balloon... no Happy Birthday balloon. I called customer service, and explained things and the customer service representative followed their script and offered a refund for the missing balloon and a 20% off coupon for a future order. Being my first order, I explained that this was a waste of time because I wouldn't use the service again. It was too hard to run a Happy Birthday balloon to the recipient. When I related that I'm sure they wouldn't use a vendor that failed like this on their first order... the rep remained silent (I could hear them typing in the background) and after me saying hello several times with no response by the rep... they hung up on me. I immediately called back and got a different rep and they couldn't access the order, so they assured me someone would call me back in 20-30 minutes... it is over 6 hours later and my phone hasn't rung all day.
Terrible company! I placed an order for delivery yesterday. They didn't deliver yet took payment. Customer service told me they didn't receive enough information to complete delivery. Wrong. All the information was filled out. Then they told me my order doesn't exist. I filed a claim with PayPal and sent screenshots of the transactions. Now I'm receiving endless emails from 1800flowers, all from different agents, asking for the same information which I have provided, screenshots included, multiple times. The incompetence of these people is unreal! I'm still fighting for a refund.
Ordered an Extra Large arrangement for a 1 day wake, what arrived was a Medium arrangement. Called to straighten the situation out and was offered half off which I accepted as it was already delivered even though it had no resemblance to their photo. Than I find out that the florist came back and retrieve the flowers altogether! So I was left with paying for half and NO FLOWERS! Called AGAIN and was offered an arrangement to be sent to the recipient's home, the recipient is deceased! Will NEVER use them again. First photo is what I ordered and Second photo is what was delivered and than taken back. Photos are reversed. Second is what I ordered and First is what was delivered.
Just horrible customer service with this company, and it's not the first time. I guess the old adage, "once bitten, twice shy" is appropriate.
Ordered a floral arrangement for a family member's funeral and... for the second time in the past year... florists in Chicago won't make deliveries to Black neighborhoods. This is infuriating, frustrating, and racist. This has to stop!
Paid a lot of money for a decent arrangement and now my family and I will have nothing to show.

I ordered flowers to honor a family member who was turning 107 years young, thus the arrangement I selected was very important. I ordered at least a week in advance, the arrangement I selected was beautiful with sunflowers and hints of purple. What the honoree received was nowhere close, they sent 6 gerber daises in water, my heart sank. They offered to send again, I have said no way, the intent is already lost. I would not use this vendor again. How do you replace sunflowers with gerber daisies. In addition I had ordered the passport benefit for free delivery for all arrangements. I tried to cancel that benefit but was told I could not since it had been used on the arrangement. I am so DONE with this vendor.

The Flowers weren't delivered until June 24th, they were half dead.
They won't answer my emails. I will never order through this company again.
I ordered the Magnificent Roses®Preserved Gold Kissed (preserved roses that last for 1-3 years) for my wedding anniversary 3 weeks prior and received an entirely different product on the day of my anniversary. They sent the Waterford® Glass Rose, a glass rose that cost half of what I paid. I called to complain and they offered me a credit of half of what I paid and a $20 gift certificate. I accepted but that's it for them. Done. They should have simpler canceled the order if they didn't have it in stock.
It's the first number I can think of to call for flowers, but they outsource their staff and their staff cannot reach out to any florist because the staff is overseas. I requested same day and I placed the order at 9am; at 3:30pm I am called to be informed that the order will NOT be delivered. How could that be acceptable. They won't even tell you who the florist are, so that we can call ourselves. This service is not for same day at all! And then they're want to give you the money like that resolves it; it doesn't. I wanted the flowers delivered. They wanted to give me a $20 voucher for future purchase; I declined. I will NEVER, EVER USE THEM AGAIN. I was sending flowers to my co-worker today who shared this morning that her daughter appears to be terminally I'll. I even told her I was sending her a delivery. She will be out of work effective today at 4pm. Thanks 1-800 Flowers for being so inconsiderate and unreliable
I DO NOT recommend at all. I sent a bouquet to a z60th anniversary afternoon party that I could not attend. I SPECIFICALLY told the person taking my order on the phone that it was imperative that they delivered by noon. My cousi just texted me and they still haven't arrived and it's after 3 pm. I called and the customer service rep said that my order did say deliver by noon. Then she said that I shouldn't have been told that it would happen. BUT I WAS! First and last time that I will order from 1-800-flowers. No refund, no nothing. Bull$#*!. Don't assure me that they will be delivered by a certain time if you cannot assure it. The 60th anniversary party ends at 4. Be very careful if you order from them - they cannot keep their word. I would have had them delivered yesterday had I been told the truth.
I was told they couldn't deliver the flowers and I would be given a refund. Flowers then arrived after I ordered from somewhere else. Contacted 1800 Flowers "sorry for the inconvenience" was all that I was told when I asked if I was getting a refund. Do not recommend them. I would not recommend anyone to use since last Saturday. I have been trying to get flowers to someone who recently lost a family member. The first time they could not locate the person home so I gave them the funeral home address. Which is a very popular funeral home in the area they claim they could not find it. So on the day of the service I ask to have the flowers delivered to the church. The florist claim the church was closed!
I am so upset they never delivered the flowers and then I still waiting for a refund. Please don't believe the reviews or hype.
Ordered for a funeral. They arrived on time. The quality was very poor. There were dead flowers in the bouquet. The picture when ordering showed a very full bouquet, however it was not even close to the picture. We expected the product to be different from the picture on their website, however it had was sparce and didn't have even close to the number of "gerber daisies" that we saw. We expected a quality product for our $100.00 but was very disappointed. Don't usually do reviews but felt compelled this time.
1 1/2 hours on chat and the phone to get nothing fixed. It felt like a scam. However, I have to add that I've had good experiences before this. Just so much incompetence and a waste of time with this order.
This florist has the worst customer service. I never received my $115.00 flower arrangement. I called them at 3 pm after checking status online about my order and their site said the order was delivered. Not true, we never got our arrangement. Speaking with customer service, they said the arrangement was out for delivery without even calling the florist they assigned to deliver. All lies. This company is not trust worthy
