I was led to believe the sympathy flowers would be delivered by a person. There were other options to use FedEx, which I did not select. It was so disappointing that the family of the deceased had to arrange their own flowers! Will never use again!

Dead Plant

Delivered a dead succulent garden to a recovering cancer patient and then haggled over the amount that the refund should be. Pictures of what was ordered and what was delivered.

Terrible delivery

The surprise for my partner's birthday unfortunately wasn't as well as I'd liked it to be. This was my first time using them through Reccomendation. My flowers were supposed to be delivered between 9-12am which I paid for. However, despite me having received a confirmation that it was delivered at 10am it was not. Not only did it not arrive on time but the handwritten card was terrible and had a lot of grammatical errors. I was truly dissatisfied with my experience and will not be suggesting them to anyone else.

Don't do it just don't. I order for same day and didn't arrive and said delivered. No accountability such a same I'm not doing this again. I don't care how cheap it may be

They drop the chat several times when they cant answer the resolution. Chat 4 personnel. I called transferred more than 5 times. I was asking for a supervisor in the US none available asked for a SUpervisor in the Philippines no one on duty. I posted on FB both for Harry and David Cheryls cookies and now their mother company. I got a call when I emailed and posted pretending from someone in the US, after wards I got 3 other several calls one last from Joe who I think is also in the Philippines I got tired and will call their corporate office.

Horrible company!'

They could not spell the words "Truly Trusted"
on my greeting card! I had to do it over the phone because their system does not allow more then 30
Characters. Had to cancel the first order and place the new one. Charged for both orders and refund is still on it's way … hopefully I will see it within next 5-7 business days. I spent an hour for the order which normally takes about 5 minutes! Never again!

OVER a week ago my fiance ordered a stuffed teddy bear for me and for some reason his bank cancelled the order. I never received the bear and they haven't refunded my fiance, however the bear was billed to his card. I will definitely be getting in touch with Better Business Bureau

I spent $85 on a birthday floral arrangement for a 78 year old man expecting it would look something like the picture on the website. What came for $85 was a cheap looking flower bouquet that I could better at my local grocery for $15. I called to say how bad the arrangement looked and how embarrassed I was by what was sent. I was told a new bouquet would be sent. Then I received an email telling me the replacement was delivered. It was not and I could not get the service rep at 1-800-Flowers to understand that no replacement was sent. Beware, this company can ruin your birthday wishes. Worst part is I'm a regular customer with 1-800-Flowers but have not been treated well. I asked for the name of the florist so that I could call them myself. Apparently, that is against company policy. The picture on the Webpage is what I ordered for $85. The only flowers that were delivered.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ordered a cake for my elderly mother's birthday. They delivered my order to the wrong person who actually called them to let them know & then called me. I called 1-800 Flowers several times & got multiple excuses/lies. They insisted it was properly delivered or I gave them the wrong address. No refund or replacement. Never ever again. AVOID THIS BUSINESS! Worst customer service ever!

Really bad service

I used to place orders through this website. It was never a problem before.
Yesterday I decided to place another order: 1. My e-mail & name was misspelled and I didn't receive an email order confirmation.
2. I didn't receive the refund I was supposed to get after I agreed to order the Celebrations Passport.
3. Today I found that somebody (named Karlos) cancel my flower order - I even didn't receive an e-mail regarding that "fake" cancellation.
Do not recommend even thinking about using this company.

Don't plan on any order arriving on time

3 strikes and they're out! Doesn't matter if you order 2 weeks, 1 week or 1 day in advance, your order won't arrive on time. So far, they've missed Valentine's Day (but glad to deliver on the 15th), Mother's Day (again, can deliver on Monday), and now, my wife's birthday (we will deliver tomorrow). I will never order from them again. Today, they called me at 4:00pm to tell me that the delivery driver had already left the delivery area, so they would deliver tomorrow. Such terrible service.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

I do not normally write negative reviews. Although, I express my complete disappointment with this service time and time again. They have not once got an order correct or delivered something I can be proud of. Out of each flower selection, I order the most expensive one and the delivered product looks like they chose flowers in the NYC subway. There is no care and craftsmanship that goes into their work. The quality of service and product in the worst I have ever dealt with. If you go to their website, you cannot even find an email to customer service. You must call which takes forever. This is probably their tactic, so customers do not get their refunds. On my most recent and last delivery, I will order with them, they delivered flowers that could not be any different from what is marketed on their website. Furthermore, I paid to have a special card delivered with the order but instead, they provided an index card with my message. I cannot believe the disrespect they show to your customers. Please see the photo of my order today (9. 7. 222) that compares what they advertise vs what was delivered.

I AM DOING YOU ALL A SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

On Aug 8,2022, I ordered the "Birthday Wishes Flower Cake-Vibrant, LG" using 1-800-FLOWERS, which was delivered on Aug10th. I ordered the flower arrangement from North Carolina to be delivered in South Florida. Of course, the flower cake looked beautiful in their advertisement photos.

The arrangement was for my 89-year old mother. Not only did the arrangement not look like the advertisement photo but also the different flowers used had browning, softer than normal petals (dying). The bottom flower petals of the arrangement were falling apart according to my mother whenever she tried to lift it. When she sent me pictures of the arrangement she had to hold it together. Photos are available upon request.

Lastly, in an effort to keep this review reasonably short, I had ordered a Birthday balloon with it. Instead, she received an unsightly, half deflated yellow Smiley face balloon. This is the 3rd time I've had problems with this business. The previous 2 times consisted of chocolate covered strawberries that melted before delivery resulting in a messy, unsightly fiasco.

We will no longer use 1-800-FLOWERS. I wrote their Headquarters in Jericho, NY, on Aug 12th, and I'm still holding my breath. Awful customer service. Don't take my word for it, read other reviews. It's better to call a local florist in the delivery area and tell them what you want. Good riddance!

The pink and red flowered cake arrangement is their advertisement photo. The other 2 photos show what was received.

Horrible service

I did an order for my niece that just had her first baby. I ordered flowers and a Teddy bear WITH a hand print kit. The flowers never got delivered even though the email/text said they did not sure where they delivered them to but it was not to my nieces house so I called and complained about that. Then the Teddy bear was delivered without the hand print kit, so I called on that and they said that the 18 inch bear that i paid $45.00 for did not come with the hand print kit. I then stated if it doesn't come with it why does the website have it worded first time Teddy bear WITH hand print kit. To me that would imply that the bear and the hand print kit is all included. The person (Larry) said no it's not and we don't have any we are out of stock. So I paid $45.00 dollars for an 18 inch bear that I should have purchased some place else. I will not be shopping with 1800 flowers again. Very poor customer service and the ad that they have for the bear and hand print kit is incorrect evidently... All I can say is don't shop with them take your business to somebody else.

Do not use this company. Find a local florist to fulfill you gift of love to people you care about. They deserve you business and will mostly like provide a service that meets or exceeds your expectations. This company is only there to take your money and theirs and give nothing in return. Please avoid, give local. They will take care of you and can be found online very easily.

Unacceptable

My elderly widowed mother sent me flowers and i know she cannot afford this, I feel horrible. They look nothing like the picture, many were wilted, soggy and dead. I took picture if what it should have looked similar to and what they looked like. I took them out of box immediately, cut the ends, threw away a stem that was totally dead, they are awful.

Never use this company

I love to write positive reviews and give companies credit for good service. This is not one of those times. My mother met and went to visit her biological family for the first time. I could not attend so i thought it would be great to send flowers in my absence. I ordered 2 boutiques of flowers threw 1800flowers. Im very unsatisfied, the first bouquet was delivered by FedEx which was not explained to me on the phone while ordering. The flowers was left on the porch although my recipient was home. The flowers were in a box the vase was completely shattered. I have never received or had flowers delivered in this condition. I called and was told a supervisor would contact me and they never did. I was told my second boutique would be delivered by a local shop and a signature would be required. This delivery never took place i was told they would reach out to me to confirm delivery and they never did. I send alot of flower throughout the year and use diffrent companies to do so. I signed up for the passport cause it woulda been great to have to deal with one company for all my flower needs. If you need to send flowers to you loved ones just contact a local shop. 1800flowers is horrible i have never experienced anything like this before thanks for your time lesson learned gave one star cause zero wasnt a option

Never Received Order

On 8 August I ordered flowers to be delivered on 12 August for an event on the 14th. On the 12th they sent me an email saying that the flowers would be delivered that day. On the 14th i called them and they said that the flowers would be delivered on the 15th. They were not delivered. I called them on the evening of the 15th and requested a refund. They said they would refund me. I will believe that when I see it. ORDER AT EXTREME RISK

I have placed an order on their website to deliver a flours bouquet in Kingston (Canada), they confirmed the order and debited my credit card with the order amount, the product was expected to be delivered the day after (August 10th, 2022), they sent me a confirmation email, 2 days later they sent me an email telling me that my product is not available and proposed an other product as replacement, which i agreed on to make it easy for them, 1 day after they told me that they are serving that area and that they were very sorry! For the refund they told me it should take 1 week, what a service, when calling them they put me on hold for like 15mins, nothing to add, I'm not recommending them at all.
Scammers, avoid at all costs.
