I paid for fast delivery.
A few days later I received a message from UPS they were damaged. I did not have a notice from 800 contacts. I had to find out on my own. Things happen but come on!

Horrible Experience

I ordered my contacts, and they sent me the wrong Rx! When I put them in my eye I couldn't see a thing! Instead of negative powers they sent positive powers. So when I called, they couldn't resend with the correct contacts. They needed me to resend the Rx from my doctor however now it was expired so I need a new exam. So now I had to spend $135 for a new exam just because 1800 Contacts sent the wrong order! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Never shopping from 1-800-contacts or dealing with AfterPay EVER AGAIN! Neither want to take blame or admit who messed up my order. AfterPay cancelled my payments and issued a refund bc supposedly 1-800-contacts cancelled the order all together. They said it was a system error on 1800contacts end. When I spoke to 1-800-contacts, they said AfterPay cancelled the order bc the order has taken 30 days to ship out. I was already annoyed in their delay of shipping out times. I don't want to get charged the full amount by 1800contacts before the refund from AfterPay hits my bank. The order is still showing as processing/not cancelled in 1800contacts system and could ship out in the next few days or so. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM 1-800-CONTACTS!

Amazing customer service

The employees are such salespeople and it's all about sales for them. It depends who you speak to: some will give free overnight shipping, others will not. Some will give a great price, others will not. You feel like you are going to a used car lot, it's so much work unless you just want to be overcharged with their prices. They overprice unless you find a discount elsewhere and then they price match so you are wheeling & dealing just to order contact lenses, it takes forever. And this last person told me I can't get prices off of Google because they are too cheap; I have to search in incognito mode (for the higher prices) yet one month ago I ordered and they price-matched off of Google. Again, it just depends which agent you get and which are willing to give up some of their commission to give you a better deal. Occasionally, I have gotten really excellent agents, but it's the luck of the draw. I usually run out of time and then call them, but I do not recommend them. I'm going to start ordering from elsewhere because I always feel slimed by them; their policies should be consistent but they aren't.

Never Again!

I'm so upset with 1-800 CONTACTS! It was my first time using them and they royally screwed up! I ordered my $90.00 of contacts on Thursday, June 8th with next business day delivery, with the delivery expected on Friday, June 9th so I could actually see for a full weekend of martial arts events and lo and behold they won't arrive until Monday, June 12th! Then, I spend a countless amount of time on the phone explaining my situation over and over again and the best they can do is 1) Blame UPS, 2) Give me $30.00 back and leave me holding the bag for the rest, 3) Give me free delivery on my next order (which will never be happening), 4) cover their asses by saying "Next Business Day" actually means 1-3 business days, and 5) Tell me to call UPS if I want any further resolution even though they won't be able to help me with a thing! Seriously? I'M NEVER USING 1-800 CONTACTS AGAIN! YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THE SAME THING!

I did my contact lens exam with 1800 contacts. It said I completed the exam but I got an email from a rep named Joshua who said (after I already expressly acknowledged to him that my prescription from my prior contacts exam had gotten way worse and even provided him my current glasses prescription to compare) that it was SO odd how my vision fluctuated, implied I was squinting for the exam to impress my eye doctor, and that I needed to retake the exam. Fine. I retook it. Got no response from Joshua or anyone for the matter. I emailed Joshua and got no response. Whatever, I gave them leeway. Hey, maybe my scenario is SO foreign to them that they need 48 hours to examine my results instead of the "guaranteed" 24. Emailed Joshua again after 2 days--still no response. Called customer service the next morning (3rd day) just to be told that there's a note in my file that says the exam couldn't be completed. Like BRO, Joshua, JUST TELL ME your company couldn't pull through so I can make plans to get my contacts prescription and lenses elsewhere. Why would you ghost a paying customer after having received 2 emails inquiring about your overdue guarantee? What a waste of time. And now I will not be able to see clearly for my law school graduation. Even a blanket statement of rejection would've sufficed. Instead, I was left waiting with 0 response that $#*! didn't work out, which was concluded internally 3 days ago, unbeknownst to me. Thanks, 1800contacts, and thank you in particular, Joshua. Irresponsibility at its finest.

Ordered my prescription contacts for -2 and -3 with the paper prescription I got from my optician. However I got the wrong power sent to me, two -8 boxes, so I contacted costumer service. They apologized, promising to send me the correct contacts so I can send the two -8 boxes back, no extra costs. Got my order and I got -8 boxes again! At this point I need new contacts within a week or I'm out. So I contacted them a second time and they said we can send you the -2 and -3 for 20$ extra per box. I got suspicious and asked why all of a sudden it would be more expensive. They said we can't send you the ones you ordered because you don'tbhave the correct prescription… Then how did you just send me FOUR BOXES of the exact contact I need but the wrong power and now refuse to and instead trying to force me to pay more. I then asked for my money back and the service agent said so you'd rather not wesr contact anymore then?… At a loss for words. Now I have to rush around trying to get contacts within a week because they $#*!ed up.

I had never ordered contacts online before but took a chance at 1800 contacts to save $90 on a year supply plus free shipping. I didn't put in all the info needed and the RX pic didn't upload correctly. They called and sent several emails trying to inform me that they needed more info but I didn't check my voicemail or email until several days later when I finally did check on the status of my order. I saw it was cancelled so I called them at 10:30 pm on a Friday night to find out why. I had no wait time and a helpful customer service rep answered. She walked me through all the steps of getting my RX to them and my order processed. 15 minutes later she called me back to let me know that everything with the order went through perfectly and the order was processed and shipped with a free upgrade to overnight delivery. I got my contacts the very next day, less than 24 hours after calling them. They also included a free contact lens case that I wasn't expecting. I will be using them again in the future. I would suggest if you've never ordered contacts online, have any questions or issues about your order after placing it, or if you want to check on the status, give them a call. They were very helpful and I'm very pleased. The original estimated date of delivery was 7-10 business days. Even with the issue I had, from start to finish, I had my contacts in 7 days.

I have always gotten great service until I spoke with a 'Supervisor' today named Chelsea. She was the RUDEST, most DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL CSR I have ever dealt with. Once I caught her in a LIE and called her out on it, she went crazy and ended up hanging up on me. I called back and spoke to Kendra and asked to speak to a Manager and Claire got on the phone and started her rampage all over again. She just wanted to argue and would not stop. I told her I wanted the name of her Manager and she refused to give me the information. Still, she wanted to argue some more and once again hung up on me. I will NEVER do business with them again. If they hire CSR's like Claire, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Tried to buy annual supply of contacts as a first time buyer and there were so many red flags I cancelled my order.

Red Flag #1) They do not genuinely price match. They will take the highest price listed on a competitor's website BEFORE all the discounts and promotions. Their method is absurd and I was told they, "put the browser on private and then look at the price on the competitor's page." They mislead you. The associate will require you to make an ENTIRE ACCOUNT, WRITE UP YOUR COMPLETE RX, and then ultimately tell you, "1800 offers a better deal."

Red Flag #2) Since I am first-time buyer, I was offered 20%, a $70 rebate for an annual supply, and I had eye insurance for $150 credit for contacts. They refused to offer the 20% and $70 off rebate if I used my insurance. They stated, and I kid you not, "unfortunately, we will be unable to do that as the savings are too high." SAVINGS ARE TOO HIGH. They're still getting the $150 from my insurance! They are still getting paid the $150 when they file the claim, although not through me. Literally just trying to scam you every chance they get.

Do not buy from this company. A company so deceitful with every aspect of their initial offers will be deceitful through every step of the process. Returns. Discounts. Quality complaints. Buy elsewhere.

False Advertise in Price

After researching costs of contact lenses I came to 1-800 Contacts because they advertised the best price. After entering my information you get to view your cart. It shows the price plus the discounts. After you select checkout, prices are no longer visible. You select to enter your insurance benefits, they accept it. You enter your credit card information. You've done the math and figured our what your total should however, once you submit the order the price increases by $80+. You recalculate... still can't figure it out. You opt for the online chat. Then they tell you that... oh if you use your insurance, the discounts do not apply. You're not even eligible for the rebates. WTF! No where in the check out process does it mention this. It's a scam... they hide the prices during the check out process so you have NO idea until your submit what they're charging you. If they hadn't have already applied my insurance I would have cancelled this order, but we all know how difficult it would have been to get my benefit back. I will NEVER order from this company again. If you're considering them WATCH OUT!

I ordered a 6 month supply of contacts from 1800 contacts, noting the website clearly indicates my contacts as well as my Rx were in stock and ready to ship same day. I ordered paid and received a notification about 30min later my contacts would be shipped same day. I paid the extra $20.00 to get them next day. 5 days later having not received them I called and was told the contacts were 'out of stock' and 1-800 would receive them in 5-7 days. That came and went, I contacted them again, I was informed they were on back order and it would now be the 25th before they would be available. I informed 1-800 I would be out of town, and needed them before I left, they're response was, 'we can mail them to you'. 1-800 was unable to get the contacts to my home address, and I'm supposed to trust they'll make it to a vacation destination in the mountains where there is no mail box. Interesting to be sure. I requested a full refund, but was told it would be 30 days before I receive it, it didn't take 1-800 30 days to take my money.

I will never do business with them again, and if you're reading this, I would suggest you document everything as I did on email.

Have you EVER had a great experience on a customer service call with ANY company? NO

I just did, and I am shocked. I got an eye exam 6 months ago, and I needed more contacts, so I called my eye doctor's office and got a price per box. $44.99... Great price. But I had a background ordering from 1-800-CONTACTS in the past, and knew they had a price match, so I called.

I got THE BEST EVER, (seriously not kidding) customer service professional on the phone, Brenna. I challenged her with the price match. No problem. I challenged her with the old contacts I had previously ordered from them, and she gave me the exact price refund to return the old stock I had, with prepaid return postage. I was calculating the cost in my head, and she kept up with me on why my calculation was a bit off due to my ordering the over stock in higher quantities, thus the lower price return. And she got me the whole way! No one can ever follow my train of thought! LOL

IMPRESSIVE! If you wear contacts, call them. The customer service is unbelievable! Thanks Brenna!

(Oh, and I did call the supervisor to let him know, and wrote an email to the CEO and VP of customer service to let them know that she should get off the phone and be the regional training manager, if she is not already)

DONT USE THIS APP

I ordered 2 - 6 month supply contacts, typed my prescription in manually while listing my eye doctor.
After doing that, the app made it so I HAD to take eye exam via them online. After they made sure they took my $208 dollars, I was notified that I had to retake exam due to technical issues so my order was on "pause" although I uploaded my actual prescription. After I retake exam I receive another notification that the order is cancelled all together.
I call customer service and explained order was cancelled yet my account hadn't reflected that. Man on phone told me that "contacts are regulated and we can't just sell them to anyone" and that my money would be returned in 7-10 business days.
I called back and was connected to a woman whom told me to reorder and it should work this time, so I tell her they already took my money and asked if she could fix it on her end. She told me "that would be on your end with your bank".

Any positive reviews on here are100 percent fake.
Rude reps on phone, glitchy test requirement.
I usually order from Walmart's vision center online I deeply regret trying this company out.
