Simply the worst company ever. They have NO customer service whatsoever. Ordered a year supply of contacts and was to receive a $100 debit card. I received it months later and when I tried to activate the card it had already expired. Called 1800contacts and they were no help at all. Offered me $50. Off my next purchase and laughed. I asked them which company benefited from sending me a worthless card. They refused to answer which was all I needed to know. Don't believe anything these scam artists say it is all lies.
I ordered a six pack of lenses late last year. It seems every contact for my right eye would end up with a small tear after about a week. The first time I chalked it up to maybe I tore it when I removed it but all six of them had the same issue. The same kind of tear in each one after a week would mean something was wrong with those contacts. I never had any issues when I get them elsewhere.
I am extremely happy about the customer service they provided. USPS lost my package when I initially placed an order with them for my contacts. When I contacted these people they replaced my order immediately for free of cost and with the UPS next day delivery as I needed my contacts ASAP. Their prices are very reasonable as well. They truly know what they are doing and I will be their lifelong customer. Thank you for your awesome services :))
I had my order cancelled three times due to 1800 contacts not having the most up to date information from my doctors office. My prescription was not expired as I had just visited less than a year ago. I dealt with an online rep and thought my issue was resolved but the next day I received another cancel notice. I called today and was able to reach someone right away. The customer service rep (Kammi) validated my feelings of frustration and was able to resolve the issue with me on the phone. Not only was the issue resolved, but she added free next day shipping due to my troubles. Kammi was enthusiastic and really changed my whole experience around with 1800 contacts these last couple of weeks. Nice job!
This company charge my account without my authorization for $303.92 and mess up my credit card, so I advise customers with this company activity I'm very upset and I don't want to do business anymore with this fraudulent company in my life
After purchasing contacts for $85, I mysteriously notice another charge for a box of contacts and another box located in my mail. Immediately contacting the company, it was determined that I did not "uncheck" the box for a monthly membership.So, within two weeks of purchasing and receiving contacts, I had received another supply and charge. A week later after printing off a return label dropping it off at USPS store, I'm still waiting for my bank to be refunded, but they have acknowledged that they have the returned merchandise. It's been a slow frustrating process. Wondering how many other customers this has happened to...
I did not check a box of contacts I ordered until a month later. I was missing a box of contacts from my order. I emailed them and they got back to me the same day. They said they would send me a replacement box arriving within 4 days. What a reliable business! I highly recommend them. Best way to order contacts!
I had been ordering contacts for a while from them. The prescription on file, after going through their digital eye exam process, isn't even for the same contacts I've been wearing. Now I can't even use the prescription. To make matters worse, the contacts I need won't be in stock for 8 weeks. I have a useless prescription that I can't take elsewhere, and no contacts for 8 weeks. Terrible.
Needed contacts ASAP for a trip for spring break. Didn't even know how it was gonna be possible until I found this site. And I can't even begin to explain the great customer service and satisfying all of my needs (as a business student, this is just amazing). I did the ExpressExam which is just amazing to show how technology is changing industries these days. I accidentally used my home address instead of college address to order at midnight. I use Live Chat to change it. After I renewed my prescription, I live chatted with another representative that offered to change my shipping method to next-day shipping. The assurance that this company gave me through each step of the purchasing process is amazing.
Purchased contacts and my order came to $385.14. I checked my CC statement the next day and the $385.14 charge was there... along with another, mysterious $392.33 charge. Customer service reps say they "can't see the charge" and "it'll probably drop off in 3 to 10 business days." They can't explain what the charge is, why I was charged nearly $400 extra, and they say they cannot do anything about it. My only recourse was to file a chargeback and never do business with 1800Contacts ever again.
Honestly I have been buying contacts for 19 years and the past 10 years with 1800contacts. They should win best company in America there is never a wait time to talk to someone and they make life very easy in case you don't like the contacts you ordered. Great is not the word at how pleased I am
I had SUCH a good experience ordering contacts. I had a terrible experience with Warby Parker and was really flustered when I was making my order. I messed up two different times when I ordered and they were able to fix everything over chat and were SO helpful. Truly a great experience (and I work in Customer Service myself so I know)! I've been won over. Will definitely buy from them again.
I ordered from 1800contacts for over 20 years. I had lasik surgery and no longer need contacts. I am recommending 1800contacts to everyone. They never ever failed me. Quick delivery. Replaced damaged lenses with no hassle and very courteous staff. Trust me. They will not disappoint.
Everything went fine when I placed my order. But then, about a minute later, I got an email from them stating my contacts were out of stock, and would take up to 8 weeks to get back in. There is no option to cancel the order online, (extremely inconvenient) so I had to call them to cancel the order. I was upset because they didn't even wait to charge my card, even though they knew they couldn't send it out, and the phone rep told me it would take 3-10 business days to refund my money. So, I'm short on cash, so now I have to wait for them to refund my money before I can go to Walmart to order them. (Which is what I should have done in the first place). They gave me a first time discount for being a new customer, but without the discount, it would have been more expensive than Walmart. I won't order from them again and make the same mistake twice.
I ran out of contact lenses, and had a trip the week of my eye Dr. would not give me an appointment. So I contacted 1-800 contacts and the the agents were so helpful and nice. I was able to get my contacts the next day delivering. I was very pleased with the great service.

Maybe I'm spoiled, but after going to the eye doctor for my appointment I don't want to have to go there to pick up my lenses too. I absolutely love the ease of 1800Contacts. They carry my almost-blind prescription in astigmatism daily lenses and the free shipping can't be beat. Have used for years and never had any problems.
I've always had an amazing time with 1-800 Contacts, but I recently moved and messed up my new address for my recent order. I submitted a request for a new order, and they immediately sent me an email confirmation, and are sending me a new pack, expedited, free of charge! I love love love this company, and will use them forever now! My fave!
Always good at getting back to me, helping with any problems or questions. I even got free expedited shipping one time when my old eyecare provider wouldn't hand over my prescription. Sometimes shipping comes faster than expected too. I'm genuinely writing a review because i appreciate this company.
I was very disappointed to find their prices are in US$$. They charge 10% more than buying directly through my optometrist! Also when I called the next day to cancel my order the website said there order was still being verified, but cust svc told me the order had (conveniently) been sent to shipping already and couldn't be canceled until after I receive it. Not a happy customer!

But... the 25% off can't be applied if I used my $100 insurance but of course it was left up to me to notice that on my e mail receipt - they weren't going to tell me that now they were MORE expensive than anyone else! Each brand contains specific measurements and if they aren't correct can effect the clarity of your vision. The doctor's office usually will give you a 5 day trial to make sure they work before finalizing the prescription to order.
