Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Poshmark staff and previous consumers.
That the biggest problem., it says right in the rules NO ELECTRONICS! People hit, agree to terms, and ignore every one of them. I would not shop a closet that breaks the rules.
You need to ask for measurements. It's always important to ask this if they are not posted because you as the buyer, need to take initiative and ask questions if you need to know of a garment is going to fit you or not.
Don't do it! In the end it's not worth all the time and effort! Plus the site is full of scammers that they do nothing about.
I have NEVER done direct deposit on PoshMark. I just don't trust it. I've always requested a check. The check sometimes take up to 3 weeks to get, but I just feel it's safer. Keep on PoshMarks $#*! about your money. Explain to them what happened like you've done here. Good luck to you!
Your money is put on "hold" until you receive your item. If you never receive your item, just cancel the order and your money is off hold in your account. Beware that you cannot return an item if it simply does not fit. You'll have to resell it or gift it. As long as the item is exactly as described by the seller its not refundable.
There really isn't any customer service. Sellers are protected. The worse thing that happens to sellers is they get the item back. You could leave a one star rating and an explanation of the problem but no one sees it but the seller. If they are trying to become Ambassadors they might care but there are so many sellers that aren't that serious ruining it for the good people. There are some great sellers who go out of their way to please. Then there are the ones that take advantage and just take your money and fight you if you want to return something. And it is your word against theirs so you better have good proof. There is a five star love note system and that is supposed to show people who really pleases but I have had sales from non Poshmark people who never return and didn't leave a rating even though I have only five star sales, so that doesn't really show much. In the end there is no rating system so people don't have to have integrity to get by on Poshmark.
You can sell pretty much anything you want on PoshMark. It's supposed to be fashion only. So hence male or female fashion. But I've sold a collective barbie doll, stuffed animals, an iphone, a game, fragrances, cell phone cases and DVD's on there. PoshMark's main concern is making a profit which is why they let those things be sold. So sell what you want and make a profit! :)
DO NOT USE PAYPAL on poshmark. You are NOT protected. Follow ALL posh rules. I cannot stress that enough. I was scammed because I didn't follow Posh rules. I learned my lesson. I follow all posh rules now.
Yes. Go to Ebay. Rule of thumb: Go to their profile to see how many people they are following... if it is under 45 I don't sell to them... if they never shared at least 1 item I do not sell to them... they have zero likes... I do not sell to them... just block them... most are scammers...
