Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Match staff and previous consumers.
I don't know but with what I've seen and heard you are probably lucky. Try other sites you will probably do better with them anyway. If you had succeeded you would be over billed by them and get no refund either...

Yes. Sign up for a month at a time. But to do this you have to be very careful when selecting what period your are signing up for. On their screens match highlights 12, 9, 6, and 3 months. Not highlighted, but at the bottom is one month. Do not select 12, 9, 6, 3. To summarize when youi subscribe you are prepaying for the given period you selected and as attested to in many postings here match does not refund do refunds. Best option is to suscribe for a single month then cancel it. At that point you should/will get two emails. One for suscribing and one for canceling. KEEP THESE EMAILS. Note, since you prepaid for the given period your account is indeed active and you can email etc. You account will go inactive, i. E. can not email or see who has looked at your profile. I have done a month at a pop periodically and religious about cancelling. To the extend that I actually cancel twice so I get two emails from match that document they know I cancelled. I have not had any surprise subsequent billings. But I am sure not to sign up for more than a month.
AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COST. I HAD AN ACCOUNT THAT GOT HACKED TWICE. FINALLY, I DELETED THE ACCOUNT AND CREATED A NEW ONE. THAT ONE GOT HACKED TOO. FRAUDULENT CHARGES WENT ON MY CARD AND I DISPUTED THEM-GOT MY MONEY BACK. THEIR SYSTEM SECURITY IS NON-EXISTENT AND YOUR CARD INFO. AND PERSONAL INFO. WILL BE EXPOSED AND JEOPARDIZED. AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COST. THEY DON'T HAVE TO SELL YOUR INFO. HACKERS GET IT EASILY FOR FREE.
Google the site ownership. If it comes up as being part of the match group then yes it is owned by match. That being said, Tinder, hinge, Plenty of Fish, and match are all owned by the same company. You also have a lot of fly-by-night companies control the word Match Into the dating site title as a form of word association.
Match will not grant a refund under any circumstances. All they do if you want to cancel is turn off the auto-renewal. They continue to send you worthless "matches, but you'll never see a dime back of your money. Make sure you do cancel, however, or they will auto-renew your membership whether you want it or not.
Based on my experience and those of others here you probably can't since they have no customer service and don't do refunds. Many people commented they will continue to bill you as long as they have your credit card number. Some cancelled their credit card and had a replacement issued to stop this...
