When booking do you just leave a credit card on file to reserve the room or do you get charged full price when you book the room?

Dear Jessica S.

Greetings from HotelTravel.com and thank you for your question.

The vast majority of our rates are pre-paid rates, thus the full amount of the booking will be charged at the time the booking is placed. If you require to cancel your booking at any point after confirmation, any refund would be subject to the cancellation policy, which can be found in the 'Conditions, Tax & More' section during the booking process.

We do have a select few rates which are Pay At Hotel rates. These rates will be clearly noted with a Pay At Hotel text beside the room type/rate. For these rates, the hotel will charge the payment directly from you. Hotels will usually charge a deposit or the full amount at the time the cancellation policy comes into effect, however this is dependent on each individual hotel and their procedures.

We hope we have been able to answer your question, however should you have any future questions please do not hesitate to visit our Contact Us section and get in touch with us via one of the various contact platforms which we have.

Best regards,

The HotelTravel.com Team
