Because Amazon has become so big they no longer care. Lets be honest, what can we do when we order from them and it takes 2 months instead of 2 days? Nothing! Ur lucky if u can get a refund. As long as we keep buying from them, they will cont to operate like this. Until they hav no customers, they wont change.
Yes they will refund your money if the item is damaged or lost and not of your doing.
I bought their echo dot version 4 died after 35 days because it was past 30 days it was still under warranty but they refused to replace it and wanted me to mail the piece of junk back so they could repair it the turn around time was 3 weeks after multiple calls to executive customer service I was able to send back the product and they removed the 17+dollar charge to return the item and send a new item because the rep in India had ordered the new product without my approval when I had asked to be connected to a rep in America. Their offshore teams are useless and imagine they refused to send me a replacement till I screamed loud enough.
