There is a contest with Metro stores that expires August 2,2023, Add a Little More Fun with Irresistibles and Selection. You are supposed to get a separate receipt that provides a code that allows one to enter if you buy at least 2 of the products listed before. I was eligible for an entry form. Today I asked for one and was told that it does not always print out and he could not do anything about it. How about contacting higher up at the store? I noticed that this person was working previously at Customer Service in the store. He should be fired. Someone that allows things to stay broken should not be kept around. I actually am owed 2 contest entry forms. The other was with a cashier that I did not know that I did not receive the entry form until I left the store. She also previously did not put through the Airmiles Card. I was allowed 15 Air Mile Points and finally got them in the store. That was a few days ago. I did not have the time or desire to try to argue the point with someone else. I am a retired disabled senior who has gone to that store, 425 Bloor Street West, Bloor & Spadina over 25 years. I would contact Metro electronically but I did not find anywhere to do this on a Metro (English) store website.

I have gotten PSW's from Paramed in Toronto. It failed to provide them 4 times in about 2 weeks, despite I having confirmed before with someone in Paramed by phone for 2 of those times. I also sent messages twice to the attention of 2 people at Entendicare in Markham, which is connected to Paramed. There were 5 messages in total sent over 5 days, none of which were ever answered. I talked to someone at Home and Community Care Support Services (Toronto Central), an operation that deals with services for people. She said that a Paramed PSW had come in the afternoon the day before. However, I was at an appointment that afternoon, something I booked weeks before, and no one ever told me about anyone coming. I also sent an email to Paramed earlier about a PSW to come 6 to 7 that day. I was at home between 6 to 7 that day. The time period was originally given to me by a Paramed employee and confirmed by that person twice before by phone for 2 other days.

Instacart offered a $10 discount if one shopped at Dollarama Plus, then failed to provide it when I ordered. The only limitation was the expiry date (June 24th) which still has not been reached. I was informed that, while they did not inform me of this, there was a total limit of how many discounts would be provided. They never admitted they were wrong but, after much time and trouble, they finally gave me a $10 discount for any store with a September expiry. They apologized for the trouble I experienced but they should have honoured the discount, at least, after I complained the first time. From a legal point of view, the sale is a contract between Instacart and myself. Neither side can arbitrarily and unilaterally impose a condition after the sale has been made even if a mistake was made. A court might change a contract due to an extreme situation but that does not apply in this case. I did not want to cancel the order as I wanted the food and I thought that Instacart would fix the problem, as it had times in the past, without much time and trouble on my part. How wrong I was.

I had similar problems as others. I was told more than once that someone would call me back in 24 hours. No one did and that was weeks ago. It is totally Walmart's fault about problems with their computer system. I had called Walmart. A recording included asking if senior or disabled to press 1 (which I did.) I am both and am housebound. They knew or should have known the general type of person they would be handling (but I think they do not care.)
