I bought a GPD Win Max 2 from Droix. The ordering process was straight forward. Item was shipped out the following day and arrived in pristine condition, thank you!

This is the third time I purchased from tictacarea.com. All the Casios I bought from them have the lowest price even compared to eBay. Shipping is free but takes a little while to arrive from Spain (about 2 weeks to Canada, then 5-7 days within Canada after released by customs). I got away from duties the first time only, but this has nothing to do with the seller. Overall excellent and reliable service!

EBay Global / International shipping is expensive (more pricey than shipping with courier) and EXTREMELY SLOW (eg. Take 3 weeks when the courier can do it in 5 days for the same price). Other than the shipping program, I don't really have any gripe. I had items lost and eBay honored the refund. Yes there are plenty of scammer sellers on eBay but so are many scamming websites, you just have to do your homework before buying! In general, I prefer Amazon for internet shopping: it may be more pricey, you cannot get away from tax, but shipping is generally FAST AND RELIABLE IMOE (NOTE: I don't have Amazon Prime).

I needed a ladder to fix the ceiling light so I ordered one online for curbside pickup through Canadian Tire website, hoping to save some time. I ordered before the stores opened and they said it will be ready for pickup at 11 am (opening hour). Ordering was uneventful. I got an email telling me to wait for another email before heading to the store. I waited the whole day and nothing happened. I needed to fix the light therefore I canceled the online order late in the evening of the same day and drove to another Canadian Tire store to buy the ladder. After canceling the order, it said "cancellation in progress" - which stayed the same for 3 working days. By that time my credit card has already been charged (why would they charge immediately before the goods has been picked up?) (I know this is for the online order because the charge came from "www.canadiantire.ca" instead of "Canadian Tire store" where I physically went to pay). I called CS and as usual I was put on hold for 45 minutes before hanging up. I also emailed them and have not heard for another two days (total 5 working days). I ended up calling my credit card company to dispute the charge, which was canceled immediately.

I bought a new Sigma 18-200 lens which is listed "New in stock" on the website. I received a USED Nikon 18-200 lens instead (which is listed as "open box" (which to most people means "near mint return item") - but lens arrived in a plain non-OEM box and appears obiviously used). Although the return process was smooth (though I had to insist twice that they pay for return shipping) and they did not charge me the "restocking fee" that some other sites would sneak in, I am still not impressed by the misinformation they gave on the item they sent me by mistake.
