We ordered a Best Buy Insignia TV on Amazon. The seller and the shipper were both listed as Best Buy so we felt confident we would get a good product.
We received the TV and after a few days we started having issues - error messages saying the channel we were watching was not available. TV would black out and we'd get another error message "playback failure", TV would lock up and we'd have to turn off then turn on again to continue watching. We contacted Amazon per the product site and were instructed to contact a local store. We contacted the store, they told us to bring the TV in and they would send it out for repair. It took three weeks to get the TV back and when my husband asked if the problem had been fixed Best Buy said, "we think so but we're not sure". He brought the TV home and after a few days the same problems started again. We took the TV back to Best Buy and they wanted to it send out again for repair...and yes, it would take 3-4 weeks to get it back. We said sending it out didn't fix the problems the first time so why should we think it would work this time. Store replied, there are no guarantees. We asked for a store credit (note: NOT a refund so they had nothing to lose) to go purchase another brand besides Insignia and Best Buy refused because they said it wasn't their TV and we couldn't get a store credit since we didn't purchase it directly from a store. When we showed them the Amazon receipt clearly stating it was a Best Buy Insignia and the return address on the label clearly showed shipped from Best Buy Chicago, they still argued it was not their TV. They explained we had a one year warranty and they'd be happy to continue to try to fix it during the warranty period. When we said what happens when the warranty expires - their response - we wouldn't be able to do anything for you. I located the store manager, explained the situation and said all we wanted was a store credit to purchase another brand. He said they couldn't do that since it wasn't a Best Buy TV. Showed him the order sheet to prove it came from Best Buy to no avail, so I said, well you leave me no choice but to leave negative feedback on your site and on Amazon. His response shocked me, he said, "Go ahead, we don't care". Apparently, Best Buy is so big they really don't care about customer service, lack of customer service, or customer satisfaction /dissatisfaction. Spend your money elsewhere.

You will find this helpful only if you live near Plymouth, MI and want to eat out. Do not go to Ironwood Bar and grill on Ann Arbor Trail. Yes, it is a sports bar and yes they have TVs EVERYWHERE, however, if you are going with someone you would like to actually talk with this restaurant/bar is not for you. The food is good and the service is OK but they have TV speakers mounted in the very high ceilings over all the tables. The level of the speaker is so loud and annoying you have to literally yell across the table to talk with your friends. I am assuming the level is set so high because the ceilings are so high. We were there last night and asked if there was anyway to turn the speaker down and were told no. I don't know about you but when I go out with someone, I tend to enjoy "talking" with them not "yelling" at them. In looking around, I saw a lot of families eating there so you know they were not there to watch/listen to 25 TVs set at high volume with a different game/sporting event on each one. We ate and left and will most likely not revisit...unless there is a rare time warp where there is a day with no sporting event taking place on TV.

If you have been lucky enough to have a contractor from Home Advisor contact you...consider yourself fortunate! We have submitted two requests...one was 1 year ago and we are still waiting for someone to contact us to provide a quote. The other was submitted in February..we heard from only ONE contractor who says he only works in the summer months. At this point, even if I heard from anyone, I would be reluctant to use them based on the lag time for responding.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered 3 bathing suits and only one was true to size. I have been trying for almost a month to return or exchange the other two. After numerous emails, and several requests for a "return ticket" - nothing! I doubt they even know what customer service is. Do not waste your money!
