Love the fact that I had so many matches and options right away. It keeps you engaged not boring. Love the features and ease of use.

“Corrupt at every level”

Women don't want to meet like on Jst4HookUp And other legit platforms. I have never had an issue with ladies there. I thought Zoosk would be a similar site, but it turned out to be completely opposite: full of scam, corrupt at every level, with exuberant costs - a daylight robbery. There are bunch of scammers using other people's pics to fleece gullible men out of their money via endless chatting.

I found that the different features aren't set up to give you a chance to see enough about the person you are veiwing. The Carousel wants you to make a decision on one picture and no information about that person. The Smart Pick feature also doesn't give you a chance to see the users pictures clearly. The Viewed you feature shows mostly the same people over and over again. I get Likes from people that never responded to my return messages. Save your time and money.

I did meet someone however there are some real creepy looking people on here that wanted to contact. I know everyone wants to find a partner for life but some of these guys would make me a feel like a prisoner for life.

I am happy I met someone. BUT there was no way to filter the age group of who can view me. I was getting way too many messages from men beyond my age preference. I would have loved a filter to where only men from 36-45 could see me. Instead I seemed to be popular among the 50 plus age group which is complete false advertisement.

I would give you a better review but the fact i have to give you information on who I met and how. I'm a private person and dont need to share who when and where. Also having to jump through hoops to delete is really annoying... just accept the fact I met someone and be happy with it.

I've been trying to get back into the dating world and haven't had much luck considering the coronavirus and everything, so I looked into online dating. Zoosk was a top recommendation so I gave it a go. Unfortunately Zoosk, like many other dating sites, is nothing more than superficiality and shallow people. It's all about the picture. And yes, while I was getting many likes, they weren't good MATCHES. Sure, you can be a hunk of a man, but so what? I care about your character and personality. Who you truly are at heart and that's the problem with Zoosk and other dating sites. Many people don't focus on one's character and personality. It's all about that picture. Whose hot and whose not. And personally I find that terribly sad and superficial. With the virus keeping things on lockdown it's hard to get out and mingle and meet people like I used to be able to do and I am so sick and tired of the superficiality of these dating apps like Bumble, Zoosk, and especially Tinder. If you're looking for a serious relationship, I wouldn't look on Zoosk.

A couple years ago I got divorced and joined the site. Not knowing I had joined the ex did the same thing. We're on good terms so when the ex contacted me to say he got an alert from Zoosk that I wanted to meet him we cracked up. Fast forward to current day I'm engaged (he's happily single) and he messages me saying that he got an alert from Zoosk that I want to meet him AGAIN…. He sent me the pic of my bio that he received. We both cracked up even more cause we know this site is fake as heck. Thing is on the same day he got his alert I got one but mine was even shadier. Zoosk thanked me for subscribing …. It included some fake credit card number that was used. The first thing I did was check my subscriptions to make sure they didn't fraudulently charge my card. They didn't, obviously it was just a ploy. All I can say is good or bad this site can be very entertaining.

I am new to online dating and Zoosk is my first experience. I was happy with the connections I made, but when I canceled I was charged for an additional 3 months. I would have given them a great review until this happened.
I canceled 2 days before my acct expired, I received email from Zoosk that I could use may acct until it expired. I used it the day before it expired and was charged for 3 more months. Now, I am trying to get my money back in 5 to 10 days! I think they will refund, I hope!
Be careful and watchful if you cancel. And be suspicious of what they tell you in emails.

Signed up for a month with reply paid to try the site. Ten 'women' profiles showed as viewed my profile. I responded to two. No response back. Placed a block on all 10 profiles. Next morning, same 10 profiles shown as having viewed my profile.
Is the site admin playing games with people? Site admin pretending to own fake profiles to draw men to the site? I wonder how many females profiles are genuine and how many created by the site to look like a successful site.

I have a mixed review on Zoosk. It is not a really bad site, but it could be much better. There are not many potential profiles within my location. Their suggestions to expand the filters is good, but only if you prefer to travel several hundred miles to meet someone. There are people who may "like" you; however, whether one may actually meet these individuals is another zoosk story. After 60 days, there is no refund possible, even if you have purchased a 6 month package. My workable advice is to join groups in your location through MeetUp who may share similar interests with you, and possibly meet someone that way.

Tip for consumers:
No refund after 60 days

Difficult to go back and forth between searching and messaging. Kept having to reenter my profile parameters. Sent me matches all the time that weren't within my filter. Couldn't view profiles on the carousel and had to accept or reject to move on

I met a total of eight men all have been a scam. Right off the top they want money. They either go to another country, announcing they are business people, then have no way to get home. I have met one gentlemen, we have connected, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If you cancel subscription, I think your subscription ends and no more money is removed from your account.

Why do we have to pay to meet someone on line or to CHAT with?
When we can just go out and meet someone just the same and not have to pay. Plus a lot of those guys are really not into getting to know you at all. They give you their number they talk to you once and thats the end of it. Why not be honest and say your not interested? I can literally write so much about these dating websites.

I am sorry, but I found this website unacceptable. It was difficult to maneuver and find what you were looking for. Just because someone looks at your story doesn't mean they are interested. There were too many bad photos, too many profiles with insufficient information and some with no information at all. I even received a request for my email address from someone that had already canceled their subscription. Luckily I was astute enough to recognize the red flag. I would not recommend this dating service to anyone. I am very disappointed

Zoosk is somewhat effective in meeting someone. In the profiles there are a lot of Zoosk smployees that simply put, try to sell upgrades. I tested this by posting 2 profiles and caught girls sending me messages on an introductory profile in which I had to pay to see them. On my paid for profile I tried to get the same group of girls to chat and they would not even look at me. I did find somebody but you have to spend a lot of time on the site and stick to a specific type of person that you are looking for. And then you have to look threw a lot of people till you find the real people that are looking.

I was receiving many hearts and want to meet until I paid. Now the hearts do not respond and not receiving anything. Those I contacted that wanted to chat have disappeared. I have had a couple scammers that I traced down. I feel I have been taken by Zoosk. Money lost over fake likes and hearts. Do not waste your money. None have returned my messages after their initial greeting. Zoosk sent them. What an unfair practice to get you to sign your money away.

Tip for consumers:
That a majority of profiles are fake, not verified as mine was, and fake want to chat, hearts and messages. When contacted there was no response. Dried up when I became a paid member immediately

I found Zoosk.com to have 3 out of 10 women were scammers looking for money... They have even teamed up with a woman with a profile on Zoosk who references her "friend" who wants to meet you but doesn't have an online profile herself. This was a major red flag to me. Some very pretty girls turn out to have husky male voices on calls. Photo verifications and profile scrubbing by Zoosk support would help with these problems. While a fairly easy-to-use platform and I appreciated the SmartPicks, I do not feel that it was worth the money I spent on it.

Tip for consumers:
You get what you pay for... Just watch out for scammers and catfishers... There are a lot of them out there.

Okay, I've been out of the dating game for a while - as stated in a previous review. I've been using Zoosk for about a month and I have yet to pay for the profile and after last night, I'm probably not going to. Please allow me to clarify:

So I filtered my search results two women between the ages of 24 to 37 in my area in a 20 mile radius.

Within 30 minutes I'd reported five profiles for reasons ranging from they'd been on there forever, seriously, good thing about living in a small community is that you know some of the people that are going to show up in your results, and some of them have been happily married for five or more years. So dead profiles. To catfish accounts, one of which was using a profile picture of Anna Paquin. And finally, the biggest red flag and the point I'm going to talk about the most are three accounts that belonged to minors.

One of these girls is a close friend's younger sister. She's 14 years old and supposedly verified her account via Facebook. She follows me on Facebook. Not only was her profile picture the exact same as her FB Zoosk profiles. Her account flat out says she's in high school. Earlier that day, she was talking about how amped she was to be starting her sophomore year.

So this begs the question, do they actually have somebody monitoring Facebook verification, or is it left up to some random bot?

And here's my biggest qualm: this is a problem that isn't difficult to combat. I mean, for crying out loud there's a good portion of groups on Kik that require you to send a picture of you holding a random object, touching your nose, or holding up a piece of paper with a time stamp and date on it.

Why is this concept so foreign to these dating services?

I'm a single parent, I've had to move around a lot the past few years, and my child is autistic. I can tell you that the sex offenders registry is ever-growing and very real.

So I wonder how a company such a Zoosk would feel knowing they were complicit in a potential assault because they neglected to actually verify a profile.

Honestly, I'm done with this app / website.

I tried to contact them via their customer service email and I was told that I would have to wait two to three days for a response and so I decided to try and get in contact with them via Facebook Messenger, only to have my conversation muted. That's the virtual equivalent of telling me to STFU.

There is no way they're going to be getting any money of mine. I suggest anybody who gets into the service takes a buyer beware approach.

Tip for consumers:
Don't. If you're looking for a date, join an IRL singles group, maybe an activity group, just put yourself out there for real.
