I met a great woman on Zoosk and we are currently dating and we both just clicked when we met. Thank you Zoosk!
Easy way view and get a general idea of the person you are looking at before ever making the next move. Perfect for finding a person that fits your own personality and enjoys similar hobbies.
I actually met three women. One rejected me from the beginning. But she was "too smart and professional" to be interested in me. The next was interesting but just didn't seem to be going anywhere and she criticized life and me in small irritating ways. We are all intitled to an opinion. Then I think I have met someone that she and I just click. Along the way I met a couple that apparently were scam artists. I could see the warning signs way before they got needy and started asking for large sums of money. Some of the matches were for women way too far away to even write to. I think the site needs another page for just chatting. The messaging back and forth is a bit tedious at times.
No customer service... EVER! Oh... and were you a sucker like me? Thinking it would get better when you paid 80 bucks for 6 months? It doesn't. Send a message to a lady on there? Zoosk comes back and says "Want to see if she's read your message? Click here for credits!" Ummm... I paid 80 bucks... I'm a full member... why do I need to pay more money or play stupid "carousel" games to know if someone has read my message? While I was ramping up to being a full member, I had no profile and no photo posted... yet I was getting HUGE numbers of "----- WANTS TO MEET YOU!" e-mails?! "She" wants to meet WHOM?! For all anybody knows at this point, I'm a friggin suspension bridge! Why do you want to meet me before you know ANYTHING about me?! My "Smart Pick"? Why can I send her a silly friggin "heart"... but can't get to her account and send her an actual "Hi... how are ya?" message? Scammers can do it to me before they know the first thing about me... but I can't send messages? Oh... and how do I know messages sent will ever be received? How do I know the woman at the other end isn't told "You have a guy who sent a message... click here to play carousel for more credits... or enter your credit card number now."? How do I know? I don't know... I won't know... because Zoosk "customer service" never responds. IC3 will be hearing about them next.
Here's an update to my original review one month on (having cancelled my subscription!). It is an email reply from those low-life scammers at Zoosk, who I accused of mis-selling on the grounds they failed to make clear before I paid that I would only be able contact a microscopic percentage of the profiles on it. The first paragraph overflows with loveliness, though it's just words - they have absolutely no intention of creating a dating site with actual people you can actually date. The second one is where they legalise the scam - 'we've got you're money and there's nothing you can do about it.' OK, I've been scammed for £25 ($40), big deal, I'll get over it and learn my lesson. As for zoosk? Commercially, they're the equivalent of 16-year-old schoolboys who steal dinner money of blind 7-year-olds - scumbags of the highest order.

Shame you have to give this lot one star - they deserve a negative rating. Ultimately, this is a legal scam. 95% of all the people on Zoosk haven't paid, so can't reply to emails you send. The tone of their customer services emails is hysterical, e.g. we're the loveliest people on the planet, so just tell us how to improve and it'll be down in minutes', but the truth is they have no intention of doing a thing apart from grabbing your cash. It's a complete sham, so don't go anywhere near this lot.
I felt safer, because they do verifications, I never experience any suspicious scammers as other online sites, I am very, very Happy that I found a decent, fine man through Zoosk, and I wish the same luck for others
At first I was hesitant about zoosk since I had never done the online dating before and heard horror stories about it. After a bitter divorce I didn't think I would find a best friend again. After sorting through all the weirdos and chatting with to a few normal ones I found not only a best friend but a soul mate for life. She is more than I ever dreamed of finding and after 4 months of dating we have recently been talking about our future plans and I couldn't be happier! Thanks zoosk for giving me something more than I ever expected to find! A word of advice to everyone. Just be yourself. Don't play yourself up only to be let down when they find out the real you because it WILL happen eventually.
This has been a wonderful experience. I found success right away. When its right, its right. I only have great things to say about this website. Out of all my experiences, this has been the most fun site I've been on
Zoosk.com is a total scam site. You cannot read or communicate with anyone on the site unless you buy one of their VERY expensive memberships and then YOU STILL CAN'T communicate with others unless THEY BUY A VERY EXPENSIVE membership ALSO. Talk about double dipping. STAY AWAY from this site.
It was so hard looking and dating, looking and dating, and it seemed like it would go on forever. I met a guy who I am completely attracted to, smart, funny, successful, and who treats me like a queen. After our first date, we have not left eachother's side. I am soooo excited!
I never thought that I would have found someone so quickly on a dating website with so many connections! I've been searching for so long to find someone that I truly connected with, but I think I may have
A newbie to dating in general so it was a good way to meet people I normally would not have had the opportunity to meet.
Worst dating site I've ever paid for! Men just troll through your details and the same 30 unemployed serial killer looking men go around a "carousel". No dates ever for any of my girlfriends or me. Just demands for phone numbers and naked photos. Don't go here girls.
Somewhat expensive, but what in life is cheap that's worth it
FAKE. Do NOT waste your money! TOTALLY FAKE LURE ADS!
After you pay that is the LAST you will hear from any REAL females! You will get plenty of "auto replies" though, that are completely useless!
COMPLETE waste of your money and TIME!
They tell you someone wants to talk to you and that they are interested and there are no messages or emails. I joined for a month and paid $30.00 what a waste of time and money. Do not join this site! Seems to me that all the profiles are just pictures with no one real behind the profile that is there.
Like anything else in this world, nothing is guaranteed but I was patient and in a (Really) short period of time (weeks) I found a wonderful lady that lives close by that shares the same interests. So don't despair, if you're sending out messages and nothing good is coming back. It takes time. It's worth it.

Once you register at this "free" site, your hit with messages from women. That you cannot read unless you pay for the subscription. They entice you to pay by having multiple women sending chat requests and messages your way. Once you join the real bull$#*! begins. Fake profiles messaging you at least once a day, site claiming someone is viewing your profile yet she has idea what you're talking about. My profile even sent a "wink" to a woman without my permission. The so-called "smart match " fails in revealing exactly where your match lives, only the distance. You continuously get notifications that "so and so" wants to meet you, but that is only the result of a feature called "carousel" that members play to aquire coins... they don't really want to meet you, they want the coins, and most are pretty far away to begin with. I've got messages from people 14'00 miles away sometimes further! These dating sites are supposed to be for people with full time jobs that don't have time for the bar scene, instead you get a bunch of games and scammers.
The customer service is horrible, they only respond with stock answers without even reading what did you write. When I call, they keep reading overwritten scripts, and it is very annoying. They tell me to click in the ADD bottom, I do not have an ADD bottom. When you receive a notification that someone wants to chat, there is no way to follow up. They keep suggesting women 15 or 18 years younger than I am and the carousel keeps showing the same women. The pictures are not controlled and you cannot see the faces of people when you are asked if you want to meet them. It is a total waste of money and valuable time.
PRO: I've been on the zoosk site for about 2 years and I've met a few nice men. Unfortunately the only things we had in common was that we had similar jobs. After a few dinner dates we realized that we were better of being just friends due to the reasons mentioned below as my CON about this site.
CONS:
1. Some guys on here say that they're looking for a serious relationship, when in fact they aren't.
2. Some of the men on the site are such perverts.
3. Some of the men say that they're single or divorced when they're in fact married or separated.
4. Men don't read your profile at all to find out what you're looking for.
5. On this site there are a lot of fake profiles.
6. Some guys put photos of celebrities, their dogs, kids, or pics that are 10 years old and upon meeting them they look totally different.
7. This site cost way too much and the guys that they pick as a smartpick isn't right at all.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
