About a month ago, I was having difficulty finding a primary care physician, and I was feeling exhausted by the search. Then I found ZocDoc. Wow! Within minutes I located a primary care doctor within the traveling distance I was looking for, and with the credentials I wanted. I was able to find out about his accepted insurance right on site at ZocDoc, and was able to set an appointment within two days, right ONLINE! The physician's open appointment days and times were posted on a calendar in the ZocDoc format. Additionally, after setting the appointment at ZocDoc, staff from the office of my physician of choice called my cell number to confirm that my appointment was set, and I was informed what I needed to bring. I was totally amazed! Soooo easy. Such a smooth flow. I will add here an important part to me: I have since had two appointments with the physician I found on ZocDoc, and I am very happy to say I have found my primary care doctor! I have already submitted a well-deserved review for Dr. Hasan in Virginia Beach. It's great to have a physician that I feel comfortable trusting with my healthcare. ZocDoc is a great website and it is well set up. It functions as promised! Thank you ZocDoc. Keep up the great service!
I've found some great doctors, have easily scheduled several appointments and even received exceptional customer service when I did experience an issue.
I have booked several appointments and found a really good doctor through ZocDoc, which I am very happy about. However, over the course of using ZocDoc I had one extremely unprofessional and unpleasant doctors appointment that I wrote a review for, but was not approved by ZocDoc. I booked an appointment with one doctor but was seen by another with no warning or explanation, who then physically forced me to get an exam I repeatedly told her I did not want! When I wrote a review stating this I was told "we aren't able to post this review because you didn't actually see this doctor." Which was the entire problem to begin with! ZocDoc needs to include an option were patients can review the doctors office AND the individual doctors! This way doctors will be rated fairly and not take the heat for staffing issues and vice versa! All in all this experience was one that has caused me to not want to use ZocDoc again, I felt like other patients had a right to know what goes on in that office and what happened to me; and I felt like ZocDoc not allowing my review was shady and just covering up the doctors mistakes since they get a cut of the money!
I WOULD NEVER USETHEM OR EVEN CONSIDER BECAUSE OF THAT HORRIBLY JUDMENTAL COMMERCIAL! Really the girl doesnt want to see a doctor just because his name is derek? How STUPID! Or hes too old? Just horrible!
Scheduling my appointment through Zoc Doc was so easy and quick. Follow up was another pleasant experience. I hope to bypass scheduling by overwhelmed office staff and use Zoc Doc whenever possible.
I like the ease of the application it's very easy to see what doctors are available on the schedule and I like the fact that I can input all my information before I go to my appointment but there's a flip side to the coin I have been or made a few appointments and when I showed up the doctor wasn't even available and many times I showed up at the doctors office and the forms that I filled out on the website somehow it didn't go through at the doctors office and they made me fill out applications again so that needs to get fixed.
Hi Ana,
This should definitely have not been your experience using ZocDoc. Our doctors guarantee the availability they list on our site is accurate, and we want to get to the bottom of this right away. Could you give us a call at (855) 962-3621? We would love to make it up to you!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Dr. Don E. Phan. He is a poor excuse of a Dr. I doubt seriously any positive reviews are written by a patient. He cannot count to 30. What I mean by this, he will write you any number of pills with instructions to take so many a day. Problem is, when you actually multiply the number of days by the number of pills per day, he always leaves you short. Example: He will write 110 pills to be taken 4 times a day. If you do the math, you won't make it to 30 days before you run out. Problem is, he has already scheduled your appt. For 33 days away. When you show up because you ran out following the instructions, he tells you you have a drug problem. 120/4 a day equals 30. The math isn't that difficult. He hardly looks you in the eye. He mumbles and forgets what he has asked or told you before. He will suggest you see a surgeon when you have already gone to his buddy, the surgeon, and the surgeon says he can't help you. He doesn't listen and frequently seems to have made up his mind what hes gonna do despite anything you say. He loves doing injections for the big money. He does like to throw Oxy's at patients rather than weaker meds. The Oxy's are always ER's. I previous Dr. had me on one opiate at 60mgs. When I went the phan he reduced that to 40 and added an ER. If your so concerned that I am addicted, why then do you put me on a second opiate? Now I have two drugs that I have to go into WD's each month when you don't supply enough to cover 30 days. Nothing like having 28 days of pain, and 2 to 6 of WD's before you will see me again. So much for that oath you took.
Hi there Joseph,
I am so sorry to hear about your poor experience with this office. Feel free to give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if there is anything we can do to help!

Do any of you hate getting unrelated texts plugging some business that has no right or reason to contact you? Zocdoc is very poor at oversight of the doctors they refer to.
The dentistry I'd like to discuss is Irving Park Family Dentist. They are inconsiderate to a rare, breathtaking degree. When I got there, they informed me my appointment was cancelled. When I asked why I didn't know that, they told me they had been calling patients 'all morning' to let them know. They weren't on the phone at the time, so apparently they thought they were done calling everyone to cancel. My phone showed no text, no call. So, I guess I wasn't important enough of a customer to let me know.
I was referred to this dental practice by Zocdoc, so perhaps zocdoc doctors tend not to value their online patients so much.
This dental practice, with whom I've had NO business relationship, since after all they cancelled my appointment (I never went back) is now texting me ads for their business. Funny how when its to their benefit, they can find my number just fine.
The cancelled appointment was almost a year ago! When are they going to stop spamming me? Or do they not remember they did not ever actually see me as a patient?
Its very frustrating to get so many calls from Zoc Doc wanting us to sign up for more items. The boss already said no and the rep then insisted then maybe I should call his wife, like if she was going to play "mom and dad" against each other.
Another huge issue is NOTHING is customizable, if you need to let New patients know to check in 15 minutes early... nope- no customizable messaging. If you need to only send follow up patients reminders of their appointments to avoid sending new patients messaging -nope- no customizing who gets sent messages.
So far I have had 6 staff members call me to let me know the solution- Turn the reminders off! Well here's the problem with that... we purchased the package and certainly are not getting what we paid for. We were sold on what you told us that these things would be customizable and their not. Don't call unless you have a realistic solution. By telling us that it is in the works and they are giving the engineers feedback that will hopefully get fixed is not the answer. Just fix it.
Finding doc zoc has been a blessing, not only for booking appointments but also in finding specialised doctors!
Keep it up doc zoc ur doing a great job
It's very convienent being able to do everything online. Having to make phone calls and sit on hold all the time is extrmely inconvienent and stressful.
I love zoc doc as it provides my doctors schedule and sends reminders. Such an efficient way to make appt without calling the office and spending wasted time trying to secure the right date and time
White Plains Medical Assoc. - Dr Barry Wenglin - was available and answered all my questions and the lab technician couldn't have been faster and more efficient.
Do NOT use Zoc Doc. It couldn't possibly be any more of a waste of a website. Never use this bull$#*!, pathetic $#*! excuse of an app. I have been having a serious manic bipolar episode for over a week. I made an appointment a week ago with a psychiatrist that was supposed to be for today. An appointment that I desperately needed... My mental disorder is no $#*!ing joke. Today what do I find out? That it was cancelled. No one informed me, no call or email or anything. I called the psychiatrist office and they had no record of any appointment under my name. They told me the doctor I wanted to see was booked for another month. I called Zoc doc to see if they could help me find a doctor immediately due to the circumstances and COUNTING on this day. The lady I talked to was absolutely unable to help me and referred me to the "crisis hotline". WHAT A JOKE. I would love to find a way to shut this entire website down for anyone else who needs help and unknowingly tries to use this site because You WILL be disappointed, promise you that. Have a great day y'all.
Hi Madeline,
We are so sorry for your experience with this appointment, and that the office did not reach out to you about this cancellation. We always want to make sure you are able to get the immediate care you need. If you need help at all please don't hesitate to reach out.

Went to where her office was suppose to be. I was told that 3 others had been looking for her, but she wasn't there-no office, nothing. Disappointing.

I have found Zoc Doc to be easy to use, and enjoy the appointment reminders.
Also enjoy the recommendation emails involving suggested health exams and injections.
Always easy to use Zoc Doc! It makes making an appointment easy. Also, making sure they take your insurance, is also important! I use it anytime I need to find d a health profession. Love Zoc Doc!
EXCELLENT site! Finally - you can actually see who has appointments open - so much quicker than calling 10 doctors. This is a fabulous site! You can also see a photo of the doctor and 2nd most important you can see reviews (most important being that you can see who has appointments open! THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for this site!
I went to see Dr. Booker T. Seymour III on a Wed. With painful swallowing. After a cursory listen to my complaingt he stuck a camera up my nose without lube or numbing agent, rooted around for 3 or 4 minutes, told me I had a split septum and an ear that wouldn't pop, set me up for 3 tests which he would not specify even the names let alone the reason or cost, and 15 days away at best. Then he gave me a pat on the head and disappeared. He refused to speak to me about any interim relief or explanation of a therapeutic plan, in fact refused to speak to mea at all, after repeated calls Wed, Th, Fri, thru the weekend. His answering people finally told me to quit bugging him and call an ambulance to the ER. After I found an actual doctor on the following Mon., who saw me right away, set me up with an endoscopy, and was able to see a 5cm malignant tumor on my hypopharynx and set me in the right direction, Dr. Seymour's people began calling me to schedule and re-schedule the tests. I told them I would not be using Dr. Seymour again and to please stop calling me. It is now Wed. Jan. 18 and I just got out of surgery when I start getting more calls from his office confirming my appointment for the tests. WTF? Unless you need a nose job or want to sign up for one of his BS sleep studies, DO NOT go anywhere near this quack.
Answer: Hello Mark. Zocdoc offers a closed-loop review system that allows patients to share their experiences after being seen for an appointment booked on Zocdoc. These reviews can be found on each individual provider's Zocdoc profile. You can search for a provider at https://www.zocdoc.com/. Please let us know if we can help you find the care that you need or if there is a different set of reviews that you are trying to access at this time. You can reach our service team at (855)962-3621.
Answer: Hi Sandra, we hope that you were able to get the care that you were looking for. At Zocdoc, we are not able to offer any medical advice or guidance so we recommend you contact your doctor directly if you need to ever verify they will be able to provide the treatment you are looking for. Feel free to reach out to the Zocdoc team at (855) 962-3621 or service@zocdoc.com if there is anything we can do to help you find the care that you need.
Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
Answer: Hello Swetha. Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help you find a doctor and book an appointment right online. If you go to www.Zocdoc.com, you can search for doctors by specialty, location, and insurance. You'll be able to see a list of doctors and their availability. Once you select a doctor, you can choose the time that is best for you. Once you complete the booking process, the doctor will receive your appointment information and confirm your appointment via email. This is completely free for you as a patient. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need help with this or anything else!
Answer: Hi Amanda! That depends on the doctor's office! Every provider is different, so it would be best to get in touch with them about specific pricing information. Give us a call at 855-962-3621 if you have any other questions. In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
Answer: Hi Mallory! Thanks for your question! You can see a provider's reviews by viewing the full profile and scrolling down. All of the reviews will be listed there toward the left side of the page. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble! In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
