Lots of docs, information, and ratings. Easy to make appts.
A caveat: Always call for insurance information, which changes. Also, some addresses and phone numbers may not be up to date.
I found a gastroenterologist that I like via ZocDoc but was unable to locate an allergist near my home on this site. I liked being able to complete the "paperwork" online.
Terrible service. A week ago I found a specialist and made my appointment through ZOCDOC and they even sent me my appointment confirmation. Well, the day of the appointment, I discovered that I DID NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT MADE, the Dr's information was wrong...
It theory ZocDoc sounds great. In reality it doesn't always work out very well. I used ZocDoc for the clinic I work at. The representative made is sound amazing. Made lots of promises. Asked for a lot of money up front. Then they refused to work with us to make their online scheduling calender work with ours. They refused to sign a HIPPA agreement with the third party (the ones in charge of the servers which contained a lot of private patient information from other clinics) to allow them access to the servers. They simply refused... So this supposedly great service I was supposed to get I never got. It ended up causing more issues and angry customers. Talking to them on the phone was also a test to my patience. They were so condescending and patronizing. They had screwed up in the initial set up regarding what insurances our clinic accepted. After months and not many patients using the website, we looked online and saw that our information was all wrong. When I asked them to fix it and refund us the months that passed with the mistake they basically said it was likely our fault. Even though we had not touched the darn thing since we set it up. All in all, we had a terrible experience with this company. Solid idea badly executed. I'm sure it might work for some but we had nothing but disappointment.
THE SALES PERSON IS EXTREMELY RUDE, LIED TO OUR RECEPTIONIST THAT HE WAS FROM A DOCTORS OFFICE TO GET TO THE DOCTOR, DOCTOR TOLD HIM NOT INTERESTED, THEN A MIKE CALLS AND I TOLD HIM NOT INTERESTED AND HE BECAME VERY NASTY AS IF I AM NOT IMPORTANT IN THE OFFICE AS BEING THE MANAGER. EVEN IF IT WAS FREE I WOULD NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. HEY ZOCDOC, TRAIN YOUR SALES REP TO BE COURTESY AND MAYBE YOU WILL GET BUSINESS.
This app made my appointments so much easier and all of my information was already completed when I got to my initial appointment. Love seeing the picture of the Doctor as well as their bio.
This was the first time I used ZocDoc. It was convenient, I had all my forms filled out before my appointment. I got choices of days and times to choose from. Highly recommend this service.
Great easy flowing website. All necessary info is clear and to the point. No digging through menus to get to the info you want. I love this site and it will only be getting better!
First and foremost DO NOT use internet reviews to choose a doctor. I learned this the hard way. Ask a doctor or friends for a referral, or at least look up valid awards not internet site awards. I used ZocDoc several times to find a doctor and book appointments. The last doctor I found there was utterly awful to the point that he might be a threat to public safety. I picked him because of his glowing positive reviews on the website. Later on, I learned that his positive reviews were fake. I even caught two his staff members red-handed in posting the reviews across multiple sites because they were dumb enough to use their real names. In addition to that you see the same duplicate names using the same language post reviews weeks apart. This site is hosting fake reviews for this doctor, when notified they left them there. I notified ZocDoc on several occasions, both that he was a threat and that his reviews were fake. The only response was that the reviews were from verified patients and then they were left there. In this instance, I am 100% certain that the reviews are fake. ZocDoc needs to be held accountable for this and responsible for anyone who is harmed as a result of going to this doctor or anyone else that might have fake reviews. I feel disgusted and will never recommend this site to anyone. This is patient safety and wellbeing that they sell off for a meager $250 a month to promote this bad doctor. How are you going to protect someone who is literally hurting people, all for $250 a month? Unethical in my opinion. I will be making a public issue of this.
I booked an appointment through Zocdoc with an ENT doctor by the name of Conrad K McCutcheon in Houston. I was late due to a major accident near the office that had traffic backed up for miles and apologized and the woman at the desk sad that is ok we are aware of the accident. I was in terrible pain with my THROAT was SWELLNG and a large growth under my tongue. She then tells me they have no record of my appointment. Really? I pulled out my I-Pad and showed her the email. "Oh I found it" she says... well you will just have to come back another day she tells me! I begged to see the doctor and they could have cared less. If you want a good doctor find them yourself and call and make an appointment! By depending on this service and this doctor, I missed work, got kicked to the curb with a serious health condition and am in serious pain, with a growth growing in my mouth and unable to get an appointment with an ENT doctor for two weeks. Thanks ZocDoc! P.S. They will not put my review of Dr. McCutcheon on the website because " I did not actually see him" Really? Or is it because if the truth was known people would likely not want to use your service or this doctor? BEWARE!
The utmost in personal customer care and attention on top of its amazing online service! Nothing like it. I cannot recommend it and the team highly enough!
This convenience of having doctors reviews and their schedules at my fingertips is so handy. Also the ability to look up doctors by their specialty and location.
Started off good being able to review and make an appointment; however, that is where the good ended. The doctor received great reviews on ZocDoc, but after my appointment with this particular doctor, I did a little more research because I could not believe he had good reviews, and he didn't anywhere else. So I decided to post my experience on ZocDoc so others would know. Well, my review was never published on the ZocDoc site. They called me and told me they could not publish my written review because there was medical advice in there and ZocDoc is not a doctor and can't post medical advice. There was not medical advice. All I said was the doctor did not do something all other similar doctors I have been to did. I also had to wait 1.5 hours past my appointment to be seen by the doctor who was with me for maybe 7 minutes. I definitely do not recommend ZocDoc. It appears they are working for the doctors and will not allow bad reviews posted and will find any excuse not to post it and make it appear to be for legal reasons. This is BS, there was nothing illegal about my posting! Will never use again because they are a fraud!
ZocDoc works great! I love being able to find an appointment time and book it using the app instead of having to call the office. It's so convenient and saves time.
I have found that ZocDoc is a reliable source for making appointments to see your doctor and reviewing past visits. I love the reminders that are sent out about the appointments!
The method of getting my ZocDoc login code by phone doesn't work if you don't have a cell phone. So, you lost me, because I didn't have one to work with.
Hi Nancy,
We are so sorry you were having trouble logging in. You should be able to do so with any phone, not just a cell phone. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble.

Great customer service. Easy to schedule an appointment. I live in southern California and it is difficult to get through to the doctors office. I use this site all the time.
ZocDoc helps me book my appointments hassle free, sends me reminders and makes changing/canceling them super easy. I have all the information and reviews in one place which I love.
After finding a doctor that accepts my insurance, thanks to ZocDoc, they scheduled an appointment for me and sent me a notice with all the information I needed.
I made an appointment with a physician which didn't register. I called Zoc Doc and a lovely woman checked the problem and helped me to set another one. Good work!
Hi Gay,
Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear about the hiccup, but I'm glad we were able to help you find another appointment. Please let us know if we can help with anything else!

Answer: Hello Mark. Zocdoc offers a closed-loop review system that allows patients to share their experiences after being seen for an appointment booked on Zocdoc. These reviews can be found on each individual provider's Zocdoc profile. You can search for a provider at https://www.zocdoc.com/. Please let us know if we can help you find the care that you need or if there is a different set of reviews that you are trying to access at this time. You can reach our service team at (855)962-3621.
Answer: Hi Sandra, we hope that you were able to get the care that you were looking for. At Zocdoc, we are not able to offer any medical advice or guidance so we recommend you contact your doctor directly if you need to ever verify they will be able to provide the treatment you are looking for. Feel free to reach out to the Zocdoc team at (855) 962-3621 or service@zocdoc.com if there is anything we can do to help you find the care that you need.
Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
Answer: Hello Swetha. Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help you find a doctor and book an appointment right online. If you go to www.Zocdoc.com, you can search for doctors by specialty, location, and insurance. You'll be able to see a list of doctors and their availability. Once you select a doctor, you can choose the time that is best for you. Once you complete the booking process, the doctor will receive your appointment information and confirm your appointment via email. This is completely free for you as a patient. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need help with this or anything else!
Answer: Hi Amanda! That depends on the doctor's office! Every provider is different, so it would be best to get in touch with them about specific pricing information. Give us a call at 855-962-3621 if you have any other questions. In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
Answer: Hi Mallory! Thanks for your question! You can see a provider's reviews by viewing the full profile and scrolling down. All of the reviews will be listed there toward the left side of the page. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble! In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
