I've used ZocDoc a few times now, and I like how easy it is to book appointments. If the doctor's office has an issue, they call you right back to iron out the details. It's super convenient.

Great service. But you, the patient, MUST check with your doctor's office about whether they are an "in network provider" for your insurance. Sometimes, websites and ZocDoc may be outdated.
ZocDoc makes it extremely easy to make appointments and navigate the waters of finding physicians in your network AND in your neighborhood. If a physician cancels the appointment, ZocDoc has always been very quick to respond and try to remedy the situation. ZocDoc is a great idea that's been executed VERY well!
ZocDoc helps me be more proactive about my health and makes it so much easier to get an appointment in a time frame that works with my hectic calendar.
One of the most disappointing referring services. I paid $3000 for the leads' referral and so far in 3 months got only 2 referrals that wasted my time. NO surgery conversion at all. Buyer beware!
I am a psychologist who quit ZocDoc after getting nothing from the service. It's all about money for them. Their sales force is terrific! Keeps after you until you sign up. So don't listen.
I like ZocDoc! It is simple, straightforward, easy-to-use, give great reminders at appropriate times, etc. This app is way better than most of the med apps.
This site provides me with an opportunity to find decent doctors with a click of the finger. I can read reviews and check them out as well as make appointments very easily.
ZocDoc is a pretty good search engine for the most part, and I also like how it reminds you to schedule appts you might not think of otherwise. However, the only reason I use a search engine is to make sure I'm only looking at what my insurance will cover and I ended up completely making an appt through ZocDoc for the dentist only to find that they didn't take my insurance at all and I would end up paying hundreds out of pocket had I showed up for the appt (I definitely found a different dentist on my own lol). But yeah, basically the insurance aspect of the search isn't the most reliable but everything else is pretty alright.

It's a win and lose. Some doctors claimed they accepted my insurance but they don't. Sometimes they lied about their schedule availability because I ended up waiting for an hour extra.

Easy to navigate. Appointment was made and doctor's office calls a day in advance to confirm. The only suggestion that I would make is having a periodic update of participating insurances.

I knew ZocDoc was trouble when we started receiving mail at our home soliciting business for our office. I have told them over and over again to take our name and number off of their lists but the attempt to profit off all of the education of professionals from this money-hungry company continues. At first I figured I would just let them continue mailing us stuff at their expense and toss it all before even opening it. If they are that mismanaged that wasting money on postage after being told we were not interested is of no concern to them, who am I to help them out. I do wonder however, how they expect doctors to allow them to run their scheduling when they cannot even manage their own company efficiently. The last straw came when we received a call this morning at 6:30 AM at our home just as I was waking up our youngest daughter with birthday wishes... I had to run downstairs to answer the phone thinking that something must have been wrong with a family member... which meant I had to stop hugging and kissing and tickling my little girl to answer this nagging, bothersome, rude, inconsiderate phone call from a company I have already told to stop calling us several times! So I have decided that since I cannot get through to them on my own, I will take to the internet and give an honest review of them to others in an attempt to stop them from bothering others! They even had our private cell phone number for crying out loud! I encourage everyone else who has had something similar happen to them to do the same thing! Enough is enough!
Makes it easy to find a doctor/dentist/etc in a new town and book appointments online. I really like the certified patient reviews, they gave me a lot more confidence in making an informed choice.
I really appreciated being able to find a doctor, read an array of reviews, and then MAKE AN APPOINTMENT right on-line! It worked great - smooth and seamless. I could see the available times and days for appointments and when the doctor's office had an additional question for me they contacted me right away. ZocDoc is great.
