I scheduled my appt thru zocdoc and received a reminder email but when i went for my appt the doctors office was closed. The receptionist said they are closed Fridays after 12, my appt was 1:30 so I wasted my time off from work.
I love zoc doc with a passion! It has made scheduling doctors appointments an easy breezy convienant pleasure! As opposed to, spending countless frustrating hours wasted while trying to negotiate an appointment with a doctors receptionist-this after waiting on hold, and going through the press 1,2, Ect. To lispeak with a human. I especially love being able to simply click my doctors available appointments, and book an appointment that is convienant for me. And I can do this any time, day or night, and weekends! I love zoc doc!
I am someone who unfortunately used this app to receive my medication when I couldn't schedule with anyone else. I was charged over 300 dollars for using this app when I was only suppose to be charged $25. I would recommend finding someone in person.
Hey there! Thank you so much for providing your feedback. I am so sorry to hear about this, as I know how stressful it can be to receive an unexpected medical bill. However, I wanted to let you know that Zocdoc is simply the booking platform for patients and providers, and we do not get involved in any billing and/or pricing aspects. If you'd like to discuss this further and gather contact information for the provider, please give us a call at (855) 962-3621.
I was skeptical about ZOC DOC when my husband first introduced me to it. I thought it was a gimmick. Wow... was I wrong. Both my husband and I are now totally dependent on Zoc Doc -- kind of like a medical personal assistant. Great service!
A patient was looking for acupuncture doctor and I am a chiropractic. I was charged although he inquired.
Another time the patient canceled her appointments twice and I was charged although she never showed up. The company will charge your credit card no matter if the patient comes or cancels or even asks for another specialty.
Hi Bijan. I apologize if our policies were not explained efficiently when your profile was set up. We are a marketing service where providers pay for new patients finding them on Zocdoc and booking with them. We have policies in place to limit the number of patient no-shows and cancellations. With that being said, no-shows and cancellations may still happen which is why these are factored into our booking fees. Feel free to reach out to us at (866) 962-3621 or service@zocdoc.com if you have any further questions.
I live in FL and am on Florida's DO NOT CALL LIST. For the last month I have received at least 10 calls a day from them. When I pick up the phone there is no one there, so that I can tell them to quit harassing me. I have begun listing every call I get from them, and started to turn them over to the state agency in charge of enforcing the law. Wish I could see the expression on their face when they get the bill, at $500 Per Call. Ouch!
Hi Gary, thanks for bringing this to our attention. These calls are not coming from Zocdoc. We are aware of the spam calls using our name and are actively looking into getting this stopped as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call us at (855) 962-3621. - The Zocdoc Service Team
I was searching for a dermatologist and Zocdoc recommended one. After filling out paperwork and driving to the appointment, found out it was NOT a dermatologist but a general practitioner. I was told by the receptionist that it was wrong on Zocdoc, but I don't know why it's not fixed in their site. I will NEVER use this app again.
Hi Robin! I am so sorry that this office had the wrong information listed on Zocdoc. All providers on Zocdoc are responsible for ensuring their information is listed accurately. I want to make sure we are able to follow up with this practice. When you have a chance, please feel free to give us a call at (855) 962-3621.
When you cancel an appointment. It appears on Zoc doc that you visited the doctor.
It also sends you another email asking how was your visit?
Also if you look at your appointments on zoc doc it shows you have an appointment even thou you cancelled. That is 1 2 3 gliches in the system that should easily be fixed by any programmer. Furthermore... it doesn't confirm on this page that site jabber that your remarks have been submitted thats 4.
Hi Jason,
We are so sorry for the confusion! Can you give us a call at (855) 962-3621 so we can take a look at your account? You should receive an email right away if you cancel through ZocDoc, and we want to make sure everything is seamless for you!

I have used ZocDoc a number of times. I love the convenience of scheduling or rescheduling appts. Without having to call into a doctors office where I am often placed on hold. The doctors I have found have been awesome!
Please change my e-mail address from -- *******@mybluelight.com -- to:
*******@aol.com
My experience has been quite pleasant: my papers were filled out on-line, and were at the doctor's offices when I arrived. Easy!
Hi Phyllis,
We are so happy you had a great experience using ZocDoc. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need any help updating your information!

I've had very painful experiences in the pass, until now, I was treated with much respect, the staff was very professional and the doctors showed concern with my fears, made sure I was comfortable. To my surprise everything was done in a short time & painless. THANK YOU.
I've found ZocDoc to be super helpful. I wasn't 100% sure if it would be a goo addition to my life, but it has been since I've moved to a new city and have to look for brand new doctors.
The only two things I wish to flag are when I was looking for my PCP, not sure if this happens often, I picked one that was family doctor which isn't really what I was looking for since she mostly sees kids.
And another thing was that I could not edit a review I left. I had to speak to a rep to delete the comment, but there was no other options (like revised review on this date...). I say this only because I had an experience with a dentist I found on ZocDoc that was the reason why I was hospitalized for a day at the ER dentist so I wanted to take off my initial review.
Otherwise I have nothing, but good things to say!
This site allows doctor's to post their own material online without investigating the accuracy of info. I booked an appointment with a doctor that advertised my insurance as IN NETWORK and guess what? It was not and now I am stuck with a bill for 2k... The doctor's office is a rip off and this site is a rip off. I alerted Zoc Doc over one month ago and not one damn thing was done about this... don't use this site
I experienced a very Satisfying use with ZocDoc; it was informative; helpful, easy and I loved the reminders email and phone, with the address and all. That was great and it made finding and going to the Doctor a breeze.
Very glitchy and time consuming to maintain accuracy. Would not recommend. The trend is worsening, not getting better for provider synching with office schedule. If a pt schedules in zocdoc, and then you reschedule the patient in your "compatible" office scheduling software... you have to take the time to go into zocdoc separately, and move it yourself. So, you have to make notes and know on your own schedule who made the appt, zocdoc... put in your passwords, manually move it. It's a big PIA. I am always upset at the hurdles using this program. Can't wait to switch to another company

I did not appreciate the oodles of text messages reminding me of my appt. Starting a week before the actual appt. I am in the minority and do not text. That is my personal preference and wish that I had been asked if texting was O. K. with me. The doctor was great but the texting is ridiculous!
Hi Theresa,
We are so sorry you received so many text messages! Give us a call at (855) 962-3621, and we would be happy to help you update your preferences.

I've used ZocDoc four times, and I've had scheduling issues twice.
The first issue was when I scheduled an eye exam—the office called me the next day to tell me that the doctor I'd selected didn't even work there, and I ended up scheduling an appointment somewhere else (not through ZocDoc).
With the second issue, I'd scheduled a dental cleaning. The dentist's office called me the next day to tell me that the time slot I'd selected wasn't available, and that the dentist I'd chosen online wasn't even in the office that day of the week anyway.
It's convenient to fill out medical history forms online, but to be honest, it's probably less of a hassle to schedule appointments over the phone.
Hi there Laura,
We are terribly sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced. Could you give us a call at (855) 962-3621? We would love to figure out what is happening here and make it up to you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

It is very easy to make Dr appointments and cancel appointments with ZocDoc. I like making appointments because it shows all the times that the Dr is available on a particular day.
Keep up the Great Work, ZocDoc!
Attempted to reschedule an appointment. Every appointment that showed as available when I clicked on it was suddenly not available. When I started over those appointments were showing as available. The one appointment that I was able to select I was told I wasn't eligible to book since it was reserved for new patients. Ultimately could not get the appointment scheduled. Frustrating.
Hi Terre,
We are so sorry you were having trouble rescheduling your appointment. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you ever need any help. We would love to walk you through it and figure out what happened here.

This is a FRAUDLENT company. They suck money form providers for no reason and put fraudlent charges on their profile and ban them for no reason for excessive cancellations. This is the worst company to work with. I would never trust such a company to find my provider and i would never trust them with my personal data. Stay away from such scammers. I am an EX provider and a health care worker and they treated me like i am taking money away from them but instead they took away my money for no reason. What a SCAM company to work with.
Answer: Hello Mark. Zocdoc offers a closed-loop review system that allows patients to share their experiences after being seen for an appointment booked on Zocdoc. These reviews can be found on each individual provider's Zocdoc profile. You can search for a provider at https://www.zocdoc.com/. Please let us know if we can help you find the care that you need or if there is a different set of reviews that you are trying to access at this time. You can reach our service team at (855)962-3621.
Answer: Hi Sandra, we hope that you were able to get the care that you were looking for. At Zocdoc, we are not able to offer any medical advice or guidance so we recommend you contact your doctor directly if you need to ever verify they will be able to provide the treatment you are looking for. Feel free to reach out to the Zocdoc team at (855) 962-3621 or service@zocdoc.com if there is anything we can do to help you find the care that you need.
Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
Answer: Hello Swetha. Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help you find a doctor and book an appointment right online. If you go to www.Zocdoc.com, you can search for doctors by specialty, location, and insurance. You'll be able to see a list of doctors and their availability. Once you select a doctor, you can choose the time that is best for you. Once you complete the booking process, the doctor will receive your appointment information and confirm your appointment via email. This is completely free for you as a patient. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need help with this or anything else!
Answer: Hi Amanda! That depends on the doctor's office! Every provider is different, so it would be best to get in touch with them about specific pricing information. Give us a call at 855-962-3621 if you have any other questions. In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
Answer: Hi Mallory! Thanks for your question! You can see a provider's reviews by viewing the full profile and scrolling down. All of the reviews will be listed there toward the left side of the page. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble! In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
