I had a pretty good experience with ZocDoc--I managed to find an appointment pretty close to where I worked and whenever I wanted to. Definitely very useful! I just had some issues with the actual provider, where the doctor I initially requested was out for an emergency appointment with another patient. However, after I notified ZocDoc, they provided amazing customer support, and compensated my troubles with an Amazon Giftcard! I'd use ZocDoc again for my next appointment.
The wait time is accurate for the first visit, the future visits' wait time is usually a little bit longer. Also zocdoc didn't provide enough information for a dr. that I saw, eg. Didn't inform me that the office was in the dr.'s home, which made me feel really uncomfortable. But the other dr.'s that I saw were great.
I have used Zocdoc for a few years now at him in FLorida and found it to be a great site to look for a new MD. In the area. Just came up to NYC and need an ophthalmologist for an emergency on a Friday in the summer. Needless to say found a great doc who had weekend hours and was so caring and concerned.
Before using zocdoc make sure you call the doc's office to make the appointment. My doc is kind enough to let me know that if I booked via zocdoc, zocdoc charges a $40 fee, and I still need to pay the $10 copay - so it will be $50 for a visit. I had to cancel my appointment with zocdoc and book via the phone, ended up to pay $10 only.
Also they listed incorrect information about the doc. Zocdoc says the doctor speaks Spanish but it turned to be not true
Made, an appointment for the afternoon, got a confirmation for the afternoon, called to tell them I would be five minutes later only for them to tell me I missed my entire appointment because it was scheduled in the morning.

I made an appointment on ZocDoc and received a confirmation and a reminder the day prior. I arrived at the dr office at the scheduled time only to find out that the dr was off that day and didn't have me on their schedule

The information I gave you in which you were to pass on to the doctors office never made it, even after discussing with you the problem and promise that it would be passed on... well it never was passed on and according to the doctors office this is a common problem with your service.

I needed to make an out of state appointment with my doctor. I jumped online, went to ZocDoc and booked my appointment for the time and date needed. It was fast and easy to book and at the same time I was able to update my paperwork for the doctor. I received a follow up email and had nothing else to deal with when I arrived for my appointment.
I made an appointment for a doctor weeks in advance, the date of the appointment and doctor's received information where not correct on ZocDoc. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told it was weeks earlier. I had been receiving texts reminding me of the appointment. Following this transfer or incorrect information, I will call to make sure the Zoc Doc information and Doctor info./ dates match.

I am a retired RN, new to the Tampa area, and needed to see an Ortho.
A neighbor recommended an MD, and I decided to go through ZocDoc.
It was easy and scheduled very quickly. I would to not hesitate to use this service again.
I love ZocDoc. It is reliable and helpful website. I found great doctors within an hour, after reading reviews and comparing which of them is best for me.
If something happen with the appoitment or you mention that you had bad experience ZocDoc is right on a top of the case trying to resolve the problem.
I feel that I had "friend" with me who stands up for me if I need help!

I have used ZocDoc several times and have been very pleased. I searched for doctors in my area who had excellent ratings and favorable comments and have been pleased with each of them. Excellent service.
This was my third dealing with Zoc Doc. I don't know whether the medical group that I'm trying to make an appointment for is at fault or is it Zoc Doc. All three appointments that I have made have been canceled and rescheduled at the last minute. It's unfortunate because Zoc Doc is convenient and very easy to use. Hopefully someday they'll get it right.

I was happy to make my appointment at my convenience. I checked the appointment time early on the morning to confirm my appointment. However, when I got to the doctors office, they told me the doctor was not there and that they had not received any notifications from zocdoc. I got my phone to show that I had received an email confirming the appointment and then I saw that later that morning zocdoc sent me another notification cancelling the appointment. It was too late.
They called my office and told me that they worked for a physicians office and that they needed to send me a patient. When I picked up the phone, they started a sales pitch. They are very unprofessional and are frankly lying to the physicians. As a physician myself, I am glad that I was able to figure this out. I recommend that all patients and physicians stay away from this company, as they are shady and should not be trusted!
It had all the info I needed on doctors I saw recently. I was able to see if a doctor accepted my insurance, and was able to set up appointments. I was even able to see patient reviews of the doctors.
This company is a scam! They don't disclose their policies clearly and charge providers for no shows and cancellations. This is not in their agreement and they do not disclose this info when you sign up and do their training.

It is one thing to hear about how great a company/service is, what an amazing culture they have, etc... Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
