I purchased the premium resume writing service package and in all honesty I was very skeptical of the value that ZipJobs could provide. I have supported recruiting responsibilities as a function of prior professional roles and I felt that my personally written resume was good 😊. In working with the assigned representative, I received a tailored, well crafted, and expertly polished resume within hours! ZipJobs exceeded my expectations and I will be highly recommending this service to other friends and family members!

I was overall pleased with my experience. Quick, fairly thorough, and pleasant. My one concern was that upon completing the form, it asks you for links to potential jobs you'd be interested in. My resume writer was working to customize my resume based on those 2-3 jobs I provided links for. At the time, those were a couple of positions that were available but not my ultimate job goals. I'm a bit concerned that my resume may not be as well-rounded, seeing as it was created with those specific jobs in mind.

Very easy and rapid responses to my feedback. LinkedIn updates were crucial.

I found zip jobs to be very helpful and was a huge stress relief. The person I worked with was very very helpful and did a great job considering we never talked on the phone. However, I wish I knew that I would only have 7 days to work with someone. I would not have signed up when I did if I had known prior to putting in my card info that there would only be 7 days. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Working with them was a great experience! The results of the finished product were well above expectations.

Absolutely unethical company. Do not buy their service. If you decide to cancel BEFORE using the service at all they will charge you a $100 fee due to due fictitious policy about "surpassing their trial period". First of all when I pay for a service that's not a trial period. Secondly when I have not used the service at all or even created an account and being charged a ridiculous fee that's is 53% of my payment in order to just cancel then that is THEFT OF SERVICES in the state of CA. This is unjust and absolutely shows you what kind of crappy people and organization they are. Stealing from consumers is what they do. BE WARNED!

Last week i was desperate and didn't have a resume. One week later and i've already had 3 interviews and got a job offer.

Everything far exceeded my expectations. I was extremely happy with the final resume, cover letter, thank you letter, and LinkedIn profile.
However, the writer I was assigned had-at time-a slow response to my emails. Other than that I was very satisfied.

I would recommend this service to anyone that is updating or creating their resume and cover page.

I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the resume writing service provided by ZipJob, which I initiated on April 3,2024. Regrettably, the service fell drastically short of expectations, leaving me profoundly disappointed and frustrated.

My assigned writer, Robert, merely copy-pasted the contents of my existing resume without any discernible improvements or enhancements. This blatant disregard for quality and professionalism was alarming, considering the significance of the service rendered.

Upon discovering this glaring oversight, I promptly contacted ZipJob's customer support, anticipating a swift and satisfactory resolution. However, my concerns were met with prolonged delays, inefficiency, and a notable absence of accountability. Despite multiple attempts to seek recourse, ZipJob has failed to provide a viable solution or issue a full refund, exacerbating my frustration and dissatisfaction.

This experience not only constitutes a waste of time and financial resources but also reflects poorly on ZipJob's commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. Trusting ZipJob with such a pivotal aspect of my professional image was a grave mistake, one that has left me profoundly disillusioned and disheartened.

In light of the substandard service received, I feel compelled to escalate this matter publicly to alert others to the shortcomings of ZipJob's services. It is imperative that potential customers exercise caution and consider alternative options to avoid the disappointment and inconvenience I have endured.

I implore ZipJob to address this issue promptly and transparently, offering a satisfactory resolution and taking steps to improve their service standards to prevent similar incidents in the future.

A writer was assigned to me, to review & revise my resume, and write a CV and LinkedIn profile. I first was prompted to complete a brief questionnaire where I listed out accomplishments and basic work history. I was hoping that the resume would be crafted taking into equal consideration the existing resume draft, the questionnaire, and conversation with me. What I found, though, was that the resume and CV were pumped out at breakneck speed, with little thought given to content. In order to meet their "3-day guarantee", my writer spit out a version of my resume that was hardly different than the one I submitted in the first place.
After a quick round of reviews, I submitted the resume back with notes and revisions. Rather than read, comprehend, and critically think about the notes and questions I had written in the margins, they were simply added to the resume as bullet points, creating nonsensical run-on sentences and totally out of place items. After pointing that out, I got the standard "thanks for your feedback, we'll be back to you shortly" (paraphrasing) email, after which little to nothing was changed with the subsequent draft.
Overall, I got a decent resume, and they wrote a CV & LinkedIn profile that I otherwise would've neglected or written poorly. But the experiences left a lot to be desired. Definitely not remotely worth the price for what you receive.
