I've ordered things from Zazzle on and off for many years, and something has definitely happened - maybe ownership has changed, or they decided to cut costs by lowering quality. If you are listening Zazzle, I do not mind paying much higher costs if you can just please ensure consistent quality, but charging any amount for low quality items is not a recipe for long term success. Again, quality was great a few years back, but recently it is very hit or miss.
Most recent order:
1) Ordered 3 different water bottles with company logo, to see how each would look to consider a later bulk order. Shockingly, on one bottle all they did was print the logo on a sticker and attached it to the bottle. I am not making this up. On another bottle, they just printed a large label with my logo and wrapped it around the outside of the bottle. Only on one bottle, was it somewhat reasonable, where it looked like the logo was properly printed onto the bottle. None of the bottles were very high quality, and they ranged from low $20 to mid $40 each. Advice to all, avoid ordering water bottles. You risk getting low quality, poor customization.
2) Ordered 5 USB flash drives with logo and 32gb, around $40 each. Not sure it's the right clip color I wanted. Functionally they work, and still look okay, so I'll keep them (but still).
3) Have ordered many logo shirts over the years. I noticed they stopped offering some of the better 3/4 raglans they used to have, so I have tried a few of the newer ones they offer. However, the most recent one has the logo visibly crooked on the shirt. This one, I will return since it just looks stupid. Let me point out as well, the sizes are very hit or miss. Sometimes a large is massive, while a medium will be too tight, and printing quality and shirt sizing can vary even between the same shirts when ordered.
A lot of the cheaper things I tend to receive through Zazzle are usually from China. Regardless of the origin, the quality was generally very impressive for years, but things have definitely changed for the worse with the last few orders.

A season ago - the end of August we ordered simple embroidered hats after Summer band camp. We wanted them to welcome new members and to have something for cohesive group. We waited and waited and called and called and emailed and got a lot of... oh they are almost ready and will be sent shortly, Finally on Oct. 6 we got a message that they had shipped. When we did not receive them on October 9 I placed another call and found out that the hats had not even been itemized, set, and embroidered. They never started the job! They actually switched the manufacturing site and had not plans on working on them, yet sent a shipment notice anyway. When I told them the season was half over and it was too late to search and find another compnay they insisted they could get the order out by the end of the week in time for homecoming. Homecoming came and went and we just received them today with FULL payment and a false order number and date. It does not have the original order date, or number? DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT VALUE YOU NOR YOUR TIME. ZERO STARS- RUN!

Love that you can order just the number of cards you need. The designs are lovely and the quality of the paper is excellent.

Answer: Usually they take about a week, BUT on my recent (11/29) Christmas card order, they've taken two weeks now and zero so far! Not good. I need to get these cards out very soon. Also, they don't bother to make customers service open on weekends (just for the Christmas rush). I get the feeling they are pretty unreliable, inflexible, etc. Not good.
Answer: Zazzle is a Print on Demand company. All designs are printed when ordered. You would want to make your customization's to the product, then add it to your cart to place your order.

Answer: You probably will get the most accurate answer by calling Zazzle. I use Zazzle Black, and everything I've ordered (I think I have a 30 page Order History) has always arrived promptly; however, keep in mind that it has to be made before it can ship, so I believe I get a general arrival date - not a guarantee. Again though, it has always been prompt and on the mark as far as the tracking date.
