I have a 50 model. Really like. I've had guys with 5k Gibson's play my Zager and say "wow this is a nice guitar."
Then he begged and begged to use the extra set of Zager strings for the restring he was doing on another guitar.
Also, so far the only Zager picks I've lost are to guys who want one. They love the way it clips on when not playing.

Who says that learning to play a guitar has to be difficult. "No Pain, No Gain", may work in exercising, however, it does not have to be the case when learning to play guitar. For many years I have been tempted to learn to play the guitar, but I was reluctant because of the difficulty of learning on most guitars. After spending countless hours and weeks researching the different and many guitars available on the marketplace, I decided to purchase a Zager guitar.
The more that I thought about it, it was an easy decision to make. As far as I know, there is not another guitar company that offers a money back guarantee, and covers all shipping costs. However, that was not my only concern. I wanted to buy a guitar that I would be happy with for years to come. Zager guitar has given me everything that I was looking for in a guitar. The guitar is designed to improve playability and it is truly a work of art. The craftsmanship is on par with the most expensive guitars available, and the tone is warm and powerful. I purchased one of the Orchestra models, and I couldn't be happier.
Zager Guitars, in my opinion is a company that prides its self on customer satisfaction and makes every effort to earn your business. Working with Dennis Jr., was a pleasure. He has a customer first attitude, answered all of my questions and concerns, and always made me feel as a valued customer. I do not know of another guitar manufacturer or retailer that gives you an opportunity to directly communicate with the people that design, develop, manufacture, and stand by their guitars with the guarantee that Zager guitars offers.

Zager Guitars: A Great Value
A few years back I came across a Zager guitars and became intrigued. I knew nothing of the history of the Zager guitar which I know now of course. My guitar collection many of the major brands including a Taylor 914 CE and a Taylor 923 CE. I have never purchased a guitar online before, but as I had stated I was intrigued. I purchased an acoustic electric which I believe is solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Maple back insides. It came in a case that has a built-in humidity monitor. The packaging was impressive but what was really pleasing was when I started playing the guitar. It is so very easy to play. But that's not necessarily why I purchased it but it was a great surprise. But would stood out is the tone quality. It had a great combination of brightness, while retaining the true mellow gets subtle base tone quality. I do a lot of music writing and recording in quite a bit of performing. As the weeks went by suddenly I realized that the guitar I wanted to use on stage for my three hour on the average gigs was the Zager guitar, favoring it over the above mentioned Taylors, which were obviously thousands more expensive each than what I paid for the Zager. I highly recommend Zager guitars. The guitar is a workhorse and sounds every bit is good today after hundreds of hours playing on it then when I pulled it out of its well-designed case. You really cannot go wrong with a purchase of the Zager guitar of your choice. Thanks for reading.

I ordered and received a ZAD80CE Aura recently. The reason for my order was to upgrade from my current guitar. First, I must say that I was not disappointed when I opened the case. The aesthetics are remarkable. Quality of material used are first class. The first chord resonated clear and sustained.

With that being said, I did notice a flaw in the finish. I immediately contacted the Zager office. Their response was, how can we make this right, without a hint of questioning me. When they ask me what I thought was a reasonable resolution, I responded with option A or B or both. LOL! To my surprise they not only did A & B but even did more than I asked.

I highly recommend Zager guitar, not only for the quality of their guitars but for the way they conduct business. I now see how they have such a high BBB rating.

I purchased a Zager guitar several years ago several years ago after reading reviews and speaking with Denny Sr without having played one. When I got it, it as if I had an old friend. It was so easy to play and sounded so good I could not believe it. Being under 5 ft tall tho it was a little bit large for me so I soon invested in a second Zager guitar, a ZAD 80 OM. It was slightly smaller, but had the same sweet sound and easy playing ability. I love this one and I'll never give this guitar up! Zager guitars are as good as advertised and get better with age. You won't be sorry when you get one home and play it.

I am a 64 year old physician. Just starting out on guitar moving from a ukulele. I have been playing guitars at my disposal, but my hands and fingers hurt! I found Zager through research. My instructor looked at these guitars with me. He loved the sound. He did not know Zager before, but he does now! Beautiful gorgeous piece of workmanship. Hey Dennis,

I got my guitar (ZAD-80CEOM/N) early this week. What a beauty. I appreciate the signed print from Denny, and the T-shirt. It was too small for me, but my wife is looking forward to strategically cutting it up and wearing it with skinny jeans. I'm in favor.
Your flyer recommends setting the action to 3/8" at the 12th fret, but I set mine to 1/4", and the only buzz I get is from my long unpracticed technique. The intonation is perfect as far as I can tell.

Anyway... I'm having fun getting some calluses again.

I bought a ZAD900ce and received it the same week as my new Taylor 814ce DLX. Both are amazing instruments. I was impressed with the quality of rich sound that my Zager produced. I have both sitting in my man cave/office/music room and find myself playing the Zager more than the Taylor, not because the Taylor is bad but because the electronics are better on the Zager. I play through a Loudbox Artist amp and the Fishman just produces a richer quality at the same settings... And as the days go on and both guitars get broken in, the tone is deeper and richer on the Zager. Now the higher register on the Zager did sound a little 'Tinny' for the first month or so but again as it settles in, it is sounding much better. And probably most important, for the price the quality cannot be beat! I recommended Zager to a friend and after playing both of mine he ordered a ZAD20ce for himself, he is on a budget for his first guitar and he certainly got his money's worth!

Well, it is time to sit back and write a review on my Zager ZAD900, but from now on I refer to her as "Ms Linda G."

When the package was delivered it was bittersweet as I was having a bad case of tendonitis in my right elbow. As much as I wanted to my wife Linda had to open it up for me, but I was eagerly watching every moment as she started to unpack. Heck, by the time it was out of the box and the wrappings off I said, WOW, even the packaging is perfect. The case laid there and I did reach down to open the latches to open it up and all I could do is sit and stare at a work of art. I have been a woodworker all mu life and I sure appreciate when the quality is there.

For 4 days all I could do is pick her up and look it over and impressed I was. Because that is all I could do, I looked up and down, over and back just to see if I could find a flaw ……. Nope I could not find one. When I picked up Ms Linda G and put her in my lap it just felt so good. Sat there so special like. Yes, I was getting anxious and scared at the same time. My tendonitis was not going away. Ay being almost 76, I was afraid that maybe it wouldn't and I would have to pack up everything and return it. This really made me sad as I did strum it and could hear how sweet it sounds. On day 5 my arm and elbow started to get better but I still waited another day. Then finally I got to hold her and play a tune. Talk about something that is sweet. Not only the sound but the smoothness of playing ability.

Now I will ad that I am not a big time guitarist, more of a decent camp fire one but I do know quality when I see and hear it. I have owned 5 Martins, with 2 of them being new D-28 & D-18. I have an older Martin now d-18,1970. I have also owned a guitar that was a custom made from a renowned luthier in Nashville that I paid $5,000 for. "Ms Linda G" is every bit as good in all ways as that one.

I am extremely pleased that a friend told me about Zager guitars. I really wasn't going to buy another one but I sure as heck as glad that I did. One can be reassured that "Ms Linda G" will be in my hands forever. Thank You Mr. Zager for a fine instrument.

I just got this guitar today, and was very impressed about how well it sang from the very start. It has great tone and sustain, and certainly is easy to play. It should open up and start sounding even sweeter as time goes by, but just the first play was really satisfying. It is every bit as responsive as some of my Martin guitars are, and the build detail is great to see. Zager has great customer service, and I think this might be the first of many guitars that I buy from them. Extreme kudos!

I received my ZAD 80CE today. It arrived a day earlier than scheduled. WOW! I pulled out of the box and tuned it with the on board tuner, and it has not dropped a note since. I thought my Polar was nice, but this has blown me away. The tone resonates for a long time, and the ease of playability has surpassed my expectations.

It is beautiful and sounds wonderful. Again the finish like my polar is so smooth and strong. I have opted not to put the pickguard on.

From the moment I opened the case I knew I made a good decision. The smell of the guitar is incredible... this cedar, woodsy smell was like being in wood shop back in high school. (by the way the guitar case itself is really nice). When I picked up the guitar it just felt right immediately. The feel of the wood, the quality, it is incredible. The guitar has a weight to it, but it feels so balanced in your hands it's hard to describe... you just have to feel it for yourself. I immediately sat down and began to strum, it felt so comfortable with my hand on the neck and fretboard... just felt different from so many other guitars I have played. The sound unplugged is rich, deep and full, if it were a color it would be dark brown. The high notes are crisp and clean and the bass is like listening to James Earl Jones speak. After a couple hours I plugged it in and what a surprise! The Fishman electronics give you so many options of sound it is almost like having an effects pedal built into the guitar, this guitars sounds incredible plugged in or unplugged. I spent three months looking for the right guitar and came upon Zager in an instagram ad, boy am I glad I saw that ad. All my friend who have played it want one it is truly a beautiful instrument both to look at and play... You will not be sorry with your purchase and the Company has wonderful customer service! They treat you like they know you and you are there favorite customer.

I have often been a "brand loyalist" over the years. When it comes to acoustic guitars, Martins were for me. With a little money to spend this summer, I thought I'd venture in a different direction in my search for a cutaway. After reading the reviews — many of them from other Martin owners — I ordered my Zager guitar. Within minutes of placing my order, Dennis Jr was in touch to thank me. What? Who does that in this day and age? When my guitar arrived, I was tickled. I hadn't ordered the most expensive Zager, but I loved the sound and playability and cannot wait to enjoy this guitar as it ages.
