I personally use an adblocker. The ads can be annoying, intrusive, and even include threats to your online safety, such as malware. Recently, Youtube decided to disallow all forms of adblocks. While this may seem like a minor detail, refer to why I used an adblock.

Along with this, Youtube has as well increased their price of Youtube Premium, which includes ad-free watching. While, yes, I could just say 'whatever' and buy the now $13.99 subscription, it's of the following:

-Too Expensive for me as of now
-Absurd they do so as they block ads.
-Break one's privacy by forcing ads on a person.

Because of this, I have personally decided I will limit my usage of youtube as much as I can until they undo this decision.

The image below shows what will show up if you have one enabled. I tried searching for where adblocks would show up in the ToS, but couldn't find any direct limitation of adblocks.

You can't watch or listen to anything on YouTube without constant ads,commercials or other interruptions. I'm all done. I can get the same stuff all over the net without the nonsense ads and commercials. YouTube is making money off other people's content and revenue from ads. Well not from me they aren't.

Greedy Controlling Woke...so greedy if I use an adblocker then I'm to pay them 13.99 month! Woke Religion that censors and deletes creators who are not woke! But the AD's shoved down my throat is criminal, most ads "infest" your computer with "malware and spyware". I do not click on Ads to buy stuff so its wasting everyone's time, I'll go elsewhere to watch videos

Youtube tried to mediate between myself and Gameloft in regards to identity theft. My conclusion was that they are the same kind of criminal empire. Enjoy your videos, because tomorrow you will be the next Thai hit. These $#*!s don't care about your privacy and safety, they will sell you off like a cheap dog bone because they don't give a $#*! about the people, they care about their themselves only. Pointless website first they started mess with notifications then they started to shadowban then they censored comments then they removed dislikes now they are hijacking web browsers scroll locking them and are either forcing people to sit thru ads or pay for premium

So, they are forcing us to pay for a premium to remove Ads off of videos no thank you. I will continue to keep using my adblocker until they stop me from watching videos, if that day comes I will go elsewhere to watch videos. I am not having Google rob me of my money just because they are greedy bastards, and desperate for money. Inflation is out of control, and we the people need to start standing up to these WORTHLESS money grubbing bastards.

I like you tube but i can see the annoyances with the policies and for you page. If you click on one or two videos on accident then they will continue to pop up into your feed for weeks, its great that people can post what you want, but some of the weirdest things can be posted and then if you swear or do something un-citizen like you get demonetized. Probably happens for those videos too, but they still remain up.

This is the 2'nd time i see this, youtube canceling videos because it disturbs the politicians or people of influnence.

YouTube has intentionally increased the amount and length of Ads (with fewer and fewer opportunities to "skip ads") so that viewers, no matter their income, will subscribe to the channel in order to avoid the constant and incessant interruptions of the Ads in the middle of every video.
YouTube, you are greedy and disrespectful of the millions of people who "like" and endorse the videos you post

The changes made recently have now proven this site to be just another woke media outlet... unsubscribe to this site and app to show them that they do not get to control you and what you watch.

I really love YouTube but the ads piss me off, so I decided to try YouTube Premium. Now I can say I've saved a lot of money because I don't spend it on unnecessary purchases :)

Besides the advertisements showing in between the videos -this is by far one of the best online video app

I signed up for You Tube just to get the NFL Sunday Ticket. I did that bc YouTube advertise every game every Sunday. Well not by a long shot. When you complain they just brush you off saying its their partners not them. Well if you collect my money THAN YOU provide the service. Just a rip off.

I was viewing YouTube's website, and the site asked me to start a free trial to continue viewing. I signed up for a free 7 day trial to continue viewing but, the functionally of streaming was so bad I couldn't view the stream. I immediately canceled the free trial within 30 mins to an hour of signing up. The following day I noticed YouTube charged my account $68. I immediately contacted their customer service via email, and they told me they refunded my account. 90 days later YouTube has still not refunded my account. This is what you call STEALING MONEY! BEWARE of providing your account details to you because YouTube steals money.
