Don't book James on a Sunday. He was late and said the part didn't fit I had to drive back to the parts place they confirmed it to be the correct part. He even told me he didn't work on Sunday and I offered to reschedule he refused. The work never got done!
Canceled hour before set time. Wanted to reschedule a week later. I waited a week for the appointment. Very poor customer service. STAY AWAY.
Initially I had work done on my car, which included replacing the drive belt. After driving the car for less than 1,000 miles, the bolt which holds the tightening mechanism for the belt lost its nut. Apparent that it was not tightened sufficiently during repair. I reached out to YourMechanic for a fix. Was told I would have to wait for the warranty Dept to call me, which took two days. Then was told by the warranty Dept that someone could inspect in 5 days. Which would mean I would be without a running vehicle for over a week. I had already missed a Dr appointment and would have to miss a second one. To not be able to fix a poor service in a vehicle that can't be used within 24-48 hrs of the complaint is totally unacceptable. They have no true customer service systems in place. Based on how they choose to handle repair issues, I will never use this service again.
I call them to get a inspection due to a idle problem Luis show up with a can of brake cleaner checkin for vacuum leaks walked around the car " 50 POINT INSPECTION " Taking pictures after one hour of spraying the engine he couldn't find the problem so he recommended to do a compression test. Long story short it was just the fuel injectors that needed to be cleaned I did the job myself. Shame on you people. Learn how to diagnose a car and how to use the computer correctly
I needed brake pad replacements and decided to try Your Mechanic in hopes of saving time and money. I regret this decision. I ended up spending more money, more time and more stress than if I had went to a local mechanic. Worst of all, I ended up with squeaky brakes. Not long after they replaced my brake pads, I realized my brakes were squeaking. I had no idea if this was a warranty situation or not, and the only way for me to know was to have them come out again. The mechanic came back, spent less than ten minutes to tell me the squeak is because he didn't machine my rotors, which is something that my local mechanic would routinely do during a brake pad replacement. That ten minutes cost me $100 because it was not warranty-related. Again, there was no way for me to know if it was a warranty situation or not unless they came out. If it was my rotors, then the mechanic or the customer service could have told me during the first appointment or on the phone. But of course they wouldn't tell me that since it was more money for them to send someone out again. Ultimately, it would have been much easier, less stressful, and cheaper if I had gone to a local mechanic. And I wouldn't be driving around with squeaky brakes. Also, the Your Mechanic mechanic did not wear a mask during my appointments which occurred during the pandemic. I do not recommend Your Mechanic.
We booked a appointment with Your Mechanic (electrical problem) for today (5/11/21)@ 11:45am. At 12:45 Reginald Barry called to say he would be out but was stuck on a job. Ok that happens and we were fine with that, but when it got to be 4pm and still no call from the mechanic I called the customer service at 4:03pm asking where the mechanic was and that we had not heard from him since 12:45 stating he would be out. They send a email to the mechanic and phoned him. They returned my call telling us he would be out in an hour. Still no show or call and it was coming up to 6. When I called the customer service at 5:50pm there customer service is not available after 5pm. I called the mechanic at 6pm and I asked him why he did not come or at least keep us updated, claimed he had a customer that needed their car to get to work. I informed him I took a day off work for this appointment, he seemed indifferent, did not offer an apology nor seemed to care about our appointment. Very unprofessional. There is no customer service if their mechanics don't show they have no one to contact after hours. I tried to post this with NO stars, but had to give them 1. I'll see if they try to charge my card for a no show. I will be contacting my bank in the morning to keep them from charging me. It is now 9:45pm and it still shows he is on the way, what a joke.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I wanted to replace the starter in 2008 corvette and was quoted $139.19 for labor and $190.12 for part. I agreed on the labor charge and to provide the starter myself. The next morning, 6 hours before appointment the mechanic sent me a message and wanted $347.97 for labor and said since I provided the part they would void the warranty (warrant for what? I bought the part so I would be on my own. Nobody warrants the labor). I denied the service of course and told them do not come. No harm was done. Just be careful with their quote.
Mechanic came out and didn't want to fix vehicle because it's a "Northern" vehicle and couldn't loosen the bolts. Although I was able to easily loosen them myself afterwards. The company did refund my money but did an inconvenience of waiting for repair only to find out they won't complete the service.
This guys is the best in electronic diesel engine, I can believe tha fast fixed and good for all
I recommended 100%
On the website it states that there is a 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty. I filed a claim because the Starter that was replaced on my vehicle has already gone out! The part was replaced a little over a year ago and I haven't driven 12,000 miles! I received a phone call saying that the claim is denied. Trash service. I'll tell everyone not to use this service and will post negative reviews on every platform I can find online.
I own a 2005 Mercedes S-500 and needed work on my air suspension system - replacing the driver's side rear strut and the level control valve/valve supply block in the main engine compartment (according to a diagnostic from a Mercedes mechanic).
I was never able to get an accurate estimate from Your Mechanic. When I called in to the headquarters for Your Mechanic, the first problem is the language barrier - they don't speak very clear English. Instead of adding the part and labor for the level control valve/valve supply block, they kept adding a Ride Height Sensor which is clearly a different component. Yet they kept saying it was the same component and would not remove it from the estimate, replacing it with the right part. Even the Mercedes mechanic who performed my diagnostic insisted that the two parts were different components.
I even attempted to speak with a manager numerous times, but at their call center you cannot be transferred directly to a manager. After 5 days of this runaround, I gave up and went through a local Mercedes repairman. He replaced the rear strut and yes, the VALVE SUPPLY BLOCK, not the Ride Height Sensor!
A Service Nightmare dealing with Your Mechanic - lack of knowledge, poor communication, poor customer service.
This whole adventure started a month ago. I scheduled an appointment with Juan for a 1:00 pm appointment. LESS THAN 24 hours beforehand, he decided to cancel and request a reschedule. Ok, not a problem. I rescheduled the next open appointment. He proceeded to NO SHOW and refuse to respond to my inquires. I then made a completely new appointment for the next available appointment which was three (3) weeks later. AGAIN, LESS THAN 24 hours before the appoint he decided to cancel yet again. I then decided to make an appointment with a different mechanic, Robert, for 3 days later. The appointment was scheduled for 11:30 am. Robert calls me at 9:30 am and ask if he could come which I was not able to make, he responded "ok well... I'll find something to do." He started my appointment at 9:30 am which meant I was able to see his location on the app. 11:30 am comes around, no call, no message, no nothing. I check the map on the app and he decided to completely leave the area 30 minutes away and NO SHOW my appointment. After repeated calls and messages, he ghosted.
I then called the customer service line and gave them the story and said they needed to make this right. They refused to pay the difference between their quoted price and a local mechanic. They also said they would call other mechanics outside my area and incentivize them by paying more, to no avail. Their final comments were they could and would do nothing from here except note what happened.
This service both the mechanics and the customer service folks are shady, dishonorable, and completely downright inconsiderate. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. Good luck if something goes wrong, you're screwed.
On March 22,2021, I requested a quote for a slow leak in a tire. On March 30th I emailed customer service, asking for a status update. Maybe I got lost in the shuffle? Crickets. No response. Today is April 20,2021. Still nothing. Your mechanic, if you are wondering, the quote number was *******. Advice, don't waste your time with these guys.
Quote was given for two services and a new customer discount applied. The new customer discount was incorrectly applied, one of two services could not be performed, and the labor was $99/hour on a domestic car. It was $130 for a simple domestic car oil change. When I contacted customer service, they were abrasive and rude. They indicated there was nothing they can do.
Worse service - Would NOT recommend them! I schedule my appointment weeks in advance at my son's house in Orlando (3 hours away from my home since they don't have mechanics in my area). I stayed in a hotel which cost me money and time off from work. Ten minutes before the appointment, the mechanic called to say that they didn't have the parts and to get the parts from another place would cost me an additional $200 and he would have to reschedule for the next day. I agreed because I was desperate to fix the car. I spoke to the mechanic five times during that day and he assured me that he would be there the next day to fix my car. I called the mechanic the next day and he again confirmed that he would be at my house later that day and he had the parts in hand. Then, I received a call from the company office, the first time that I had heard from them since my appointment the previous day (shows how bad customer service is). They told me that now the mechanic didn't have the tools to do the job so they had to reschedule it with another mechanic who would only be available 20 days from my original appointment day which I had scheduled way in advance. I rescheduled the appointment - not knowing if my car would make it till the appointment - but was praying that it would make it. About three hours later after I asked for a supervisor to call me, they called to say that they can't offer me that service because it can not be done at a home and had to cancel the appointment altogether. This was such as freakin waste of my time and money. If I had just gone to a regular mechanic in the first place I would have saved more than $200 for hotel cost and wouldn't have to take off work. I will never use this service and would NOT recommend anyone else use it either. Very unprofessional and unreliable.
It's taken 4 phone calls and 3 trips to resolve a warranty issue. 2 weeks until a mech is available.
If you are hiring mechanics from this site to change your battery THEN DON'T. Yourmechanic replaced the battery for my mkz hybrid in 2020. March 2021, within a year, the battery went out charge and the car stopped in the middle of a parking lot. It had to be towed to a mechanic who said that the programming after the battery was replaced was incorrect which let to its discharge and they battery could not be recharged. Called yourmechanic. They set up an appointment 3 days later for their mechanic to go to the shop and check out the car. Wednesday night they cancelled the appointment and asked for a shop report. Sent the shop report. Called on Friday and didnt get a response. Called on Monday and got a call back. They said that the shop report was insufficient and i will have to pay $94 to have the car checked out. Note battery costs $140. In the mean time my car is in the shop because I am waiting for these guys to confirm. Basically these guys somehow wants to reject the battery replacement claim. LESSON LEARNT: Take the car to any mechanic - for any problems you can just get this battery done.
I wish I could select zero stars for the HORRENDOUS customer service I've endured under Aaron Seekins and the poorly managed, inappropriately named "service" center at Seekins Ford. I am now waiting for a THIRD appointment to replace an airbag due to a FORD recall. The last two appointments, they didn't bother to tell me the part wasn't in yet, so don't come on. No, in fact, the last appointment, they made a call to remind me of the appointment the next day. I show up an hour before I had to be at work, only to find out then that they still didn't have the part. In fact, AAron couldn't tell me anything about the part that should have been ordered in November. I got nothing but "it's not our fault" when I called to ask for help to make sure that at the THIRD appointment, I could get the airbag replaced so the rude recall letters will stop coming. I'm almost 60 years old, and this is the worst customer "service" I've ever had.
I will never own another Ford, even though prior to this terrible experience I was a die hard fan. It doesn't matter how good your product is, if I have to fight to get you to do what YOU are asking ME to do, I don't need the grief or the aggravation. If Seekins Ford treats their customers so poorly to their face, how are they treating our vehicles when we can't see what they are doing? Other companies are putting out an excellent product nowadays; time to get a different car so I never have to deal with the Ford company again.
I teach customer service at the vocational and college level. I will be incorporating the new story of the worst service I've ever received into my lectures. In addition, I will be writing letters to the Ford board and their VP of customer service detailing my experience. This will be the first such letter I've ever written; yes, my experience with Aaron Seekins and his poorly managed team has inspired me to write my first letter of complaint.
If you have options, I recommend going somewhere else, where the customer really does matter. Believe me, you don't matter to Aaron Seekins at Seekins Ford. He made that abundantly clear.
Anyone in the margket for a well loved and well maintained Ford Fusion with a defective and apparently irreparable airbag?
They will take $30 from you even if you cancel the appointment 2 hours outside of the 24hr window. I absolutely do not recommend.
They will apply that to future services but this experience proves to me they should not be trusted.
I tried to get a mechanic to come to my home. I took me about 3 hours to talk to someone after being on hold for 1+ hours, then being transferred 2 times. In the end they told me they couldn't help me and I should try to call again the next day.
Horrible service, don't use it. They waste your time.
Answer: Don't do it. They have scam written all over them. Was told different prices from different people within days of eachother
Answer: Good call. They're not touching anything of mine ever again!
