I've bought two handbags from Yoogi's closet. Quick shipping. The conditions for them were as described. I love how they have free shipping and 30 day free return which is rare. Even though it doesn't have as much selection as Fashionphile, I'd highly recommend this place. I had my handbags authenticated by other sources just to be sure. All came back as authentic.

I ordered a jumbo Chanel online and just received it today. Colour was WAY off from the pictures online. Very disappointing. No point in sending back after all the duties I payed to have it shipped to Canada. Never had this issue with other pre loved sites.

I purchase two items from Yoogi's Closet in two separate transactions - the first was an Hermes Kelly wallet. The Kelly wallet came in even better condition than stated.

I also purchased an Hermes Birkin HAC. It arrived with one of the worst odors I have ever smelled in a bag although the listing stated nothing about odor. After making all of my co-workers smell it, we came to the conclusion that it was some sort of health supplement. The only way to explain the odor is that it smelled like someone had stuffed it full of Vitamin B12, closed the bag and stored it in a plastic container for a year or so... It was that strong. I did not want to return the bag if the odor could be fixed because it was the precise leather and color combination I wanted. After removing the packing plastic from the bag and storing the plastic in a separate box so the Birkin could air out, it became clear to me that the problem was not the Birkin, it was the plastic stuffing... the stuffing has transferred odor to the bag.

I hoped customer service would have something helpful to offer, but they referred me to the purse forum and suggested rubbing some dryer sheets on the bag, which I was never going to do. They also offered to accept it as a return. While I was on the phone with customer service, I explained that the odor on the plastic was even stronger than the odor on the leather, suggesting that the plastic had transferred the smell, at which point the rep indicated that the plastic used to stuff the Birkin was very likely recycled and that they may have used plastic that had an odor (without realizing it at the time).

I tried airing it out, baking soda, rolled towels stuffed with dryer sheets, just about everything I could think of. I finally came across a post where someone used an air ionizer that generated ozone to get rid of a smoke smell and I figured it was worth a shot. I spent $100 on an ionizer and sealed the bag up inside a large plastic container with the ionizer. After several sessions with the ionizer, the smell began to fade. As of today it's probably about 90% gone. Every once in a while I get a whiff of it and think "you need one more session," but I have not done it yet because inhaling ozone is not great for your health and I have not had the time to safely do another session.

I thought it was odd that Yoogi's Closet never offered to pay for an ionizer or reimburse any of the costs I incurred trying to rid my Birkin of this foul odor. I also found it odd that a site which specializes in consigning "luxury" items would stuff a bag with a $13,000 retail cost with plastic that smelled like hot garbage. I did not feel like they really cared when I dealt with them. I'm not sure I would buy from them again after this experience. I can say I would not consign one of my Birkins with them - I can't imagine my horror if someone purchased and returned a bag of mine due to an odor the consigner caused. I mean, where would it go from there? Would I need to prove they caused the odor and it was not sent to them like that? Fortunately for whoever consigned the Birkin I bought, I wanted to keep it really really badly and was patient enough to correct the problem. I think many buyers would not go through that to hang onto a bag. I can say I used to browse YC's site daily, but I have not been back on there since this experience about a month ago.

Hello Todd K.,

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the item you purchased had an undisclosed odor and that you are unhappy with your recent experience with us. We do our best to accurately describe all items that we sell, and if something gets missed, we certainly want to assist our clients in resolving the matter. When a bag has an odor, our first step is to request that you air out the bag and try placing either sachets of lavender, rosemary, or cedar wood chips in the bag or gently rubbing a dryer sheet on it. This method often helps to eliminate odors, however if you have tried this already and it does not work, we are happy to further assist you. We have noted from our last communication with you that you would be trying these methods and would contact us back to let us know if they worked or not. However, we have not received any communication from you since and were not aware that the odor had persisted. We have sent you an email requesting your response so that we can resolve this matter satisfactorily.

If you have any other questions or concerns, our Client Services team is available Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm PST by phone at 800-274-9691, email at service@yoogiscloset.com, or by live chat to assist you.

Again, we thank you for your feedback. We hope to serve you again in the near future.

Thank you,
Client Services, Yoogi's Closet

I purchased a Balenciaga Velo bag, which I received in decent, but well-used shape with a clean inner lining. However, the leather was saturated with cigarette smoke, which as a non-smoker I'm very sensitive to and it set off my allergies. I tried hanging the bag in a well-ventilated area for a week hoping the scent would diminish, but once material like leather is exposed to cigarette smoke (and for all I know, the previous owner likely owned it for years) there is no removing it. Very disappointed. Had to pay return shipping on something I should have been made aware of before purchase. I'll stick with Ebay, at least there, sellers tell you if it comes from a smoke-free environment or not.

Hi Bernadette, thank you for the feedback regarding the Balenciaga Rouge Cardinal Lambskin Leather Motorcycle Velo Bag. Each of our items are smelled and inspected for odors by our buyers as well as our merchandising team. It is very important for us to be very transparent regarding the smell of items, especially for those who have sensitive noses. If there is a odor noted within the Yoogi's Notes it means that multiple individuals detected the scent; when then try to list the odor as accurately.
In our experience, certain odors can soften or even disappear over time. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee if an odor will fade. There are various treatments we recommend to clients to lessen and remove odors, such as placing silica gel packets or dryer sheets in the bag to help absorb the smell. You can also use cedar chips or coffee beans, which help to absorb the lingering scents. These methods have been very successful for many of our clients in the past. If you prefer using a chemical method, we find that "Zero Odor" works the best.
Please do not hesitate to contact our client services representatives with any quesitons. Thank you and we hope that you will consider us again in the future.

I'm writing a review because I'm pretty upset about my purchase from Yoogi's closet. I recently purchased a speedy Damier bag from them, which was a 2007 edition. Being that it was made in 2007, I knew there would be some minor flaws with the bag. The pictures that they had on their website of my particular bag looked great. The bottom of the bag was shown, and everything looked pretty good in the pictures. When I received the bag, everything appeared in excellent condition until I looked at the bottom of the bag and saw that the piping had started to come out of one corner of the bottom. This was definitely a deal breaker for me, as it is way too expensive to fix the piping on these particular bags. The pictures did not show this flaw on the bag! If it had, I never would've purchased it. It's a shame because other than the piping problem, the bag was beautiful, and in great condition. I was also upset that I had to pay money for shipping to have it sent back, as shipping is not cheap nowadays. This purchase really put me off from them. I was so looking forward to receiving my LV bag and using it right away. Very disappointed!
