We have only been using Yodle for 2 months. We have a small house cleaning business and I can't afford to waste money being fooled by some smooth talking salesperson. I have seen the reviews about Yodle but wanted to give them a try after speaking to the rep and learning about their new Marketing Essentials product. I agreed to give it a try and have not been disappointed.
What I like about Yodle:
1. Great Customer service - I have yet to call and not get help with so any of my questions
The reps were friendly and professional.
2. User Friendly - I have found this to be very good at lead generation. Everything is laid out. You can see on your dashboard how you are doing with Web Content, Social Presence, Reputation and Communication. Yodle sends you reminders to do things like take pictures of before and after, Send out reviews for clients to rate your service or product.
3. Value - Yodle has paid for it's self for us since we purchased it. Granted it's only been two months but hey that's two months we haven't had to pay. We find Yodle is great for the front end of marketing. (Lead Generation). I really like the fact that they have follow up e-mails, Thank you e-mails, etc. Once the template is made it is so easy to do. I'm not sure who out there is offering all of this for one monthly fee and no additional sign up fees.
4. All in One - You can review recordings of incoming calls, I found this great for training. You receive a telephone number that you can actually track to see how many calls your company is receiving based on the Yodle advertisement. There is the ability to see what pages potential clients used to find your company. Storing contacts and conversations, and much more. It is very easy of Use - I don't have to go to bing, YP, local, etc to make updates. Once I update on Yodle with my pictures, reviews, etc. they automatically populate my business FB page and everywhere else.
6. ROI - Since starting Yodle tracking August 1,2014 we have received a total of 28 traceable leads, 21 Phone call, 4 Emails, and 3 clicking on our online coupon. Of those 28 leads we have made 10 sales and 5 upcoming appointments.
Yodle might not be for every company but for us it's a great fit right now.

It has taken some time to find my way around the site. That being said the customer care people have been very helpful when I needed some direction.

Basically an echo of all the other 1 star reviews. Starting with the original rep. Clay M. No one at Yodle listened to me. I described/explained my business and I am very particular about it. We are NOT just another auto repair and service shop. I am NOT looking for just any old customer. We target a specific kind of customer. Yodle never got that and that was speaking with several different people. The website they developed was visually bland and the information was incorrect from the start. Incorrect in spite of the fact that I had supplied them with rather specific details. The worst part was their use of key word mining of services we do not provide. Needless to say this got us calls from people looking to for work we don't do. Also the nature of the work they were seeking almost automatically removed them from our desired customer type. Numerous wrong numbers. Even more numerous existing customer calls -- they just Google to get the number to call and go with the first one they see. On top of that the number they used is not even set as a local dial. Requires using area code. Yodle has also jacked up my Google+ page and my Yahoo listing. Fired them a couple months ago but their generic site is still up. I told them in no uncertain terms I was NOT going to continue. Period. The site is still there and they are still emailing me trying to get me to pay to use it. I understand being persistent. I understand trying to salvage a messed up deal. But I'm pretty sure I was very clear that the only course of action I would accept was complete cancellation of all services we had engaged them for.
As Radley appears to be the one who responds to the negative posts -- NO I do not want to waste my valuable time calling you to yet again explain why I want to be done with Yodle. I will not pay anymore. PLEASE do the RIGHT thing, the PROFESSIONAL thing, and take down the website for Luxury Auto Service.
Avoid these guys. They are very persistent and won't leave you alone. They do a great job of charging you $100 for something that only costs $20.

My ROI on this has been tremendous. There is lots of snake oil out there... especially on the internet, but these guys have always delivered for me.

Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
