The salesperson called and we had a nice conversation but I told him my little company doesn't need or can afford his product. He called back today and was rude and condescending. Little snickers when he would say something smart $#*!. Guess what? My little company will turn into a larger company and we will not use you in any circumstance.
We have received excellent technical support from Yext, especially today by Elizabeth K. She was extraordinatily knowledgeable, helpful, empathetic and encouraging in helping with some extremely technical issues. Our expectations were clearly exceeded.

The reason we use yext is to keep our online media information correct, we came across some errors while using the yext dashboard... there was some info that was flagged by yext as it was incorrectly mapped, one email to the yext team and this issue was immediately resolved. The issue was not caused by yext but it was fixed by them, another reason why they are a great value to our Restaurant.

Nothing is life is free, but should I have to pay for nothing? I literally want nothing from Yahoo and Yext, yet seemingly have to pay to achieve that goal. Yahoo has a local business listing for my company that has our products incorrectly categorized. I just need it fixed, or deleted.
It's free to submit a change through Yext, but no guarantee Yahoo will approve and implement it. I could find no way to just request my business be removed, so I submitted a change/correction. When I submitted this change, Yahoo implemented a typo I inadvertently made, but did not implement the actual changes we desired regarding the product description. Status of my account is still listed as 'submitted'. This is telling!
*******@Yext.com has conveniently avoided answering my request to just remove my listing altogether, and has defaulted to the same canned response we all get... that I can make corrections on my dashboard but that "there is no guarantee that Yahoo will accept this information and implement a change since this is a free account."
My dashboard is correct. The listing is not. Yahoo will fix it if you pay, won't if you don't. I don't want to pay for a service I don't need, so it seems like the right thing to do to allow it to be deleted as I didn't put it there in the first place, but I seemingly can't unless I pay. Is this not like being held hostage? Maybe even the textbook definition of blackmail.
I see the reviews for Yext are mostly 5's or 1's, so it's like all or nothing with them. How do I just get to nothing...

I used Yext once to straighten out some business listings after obtaining assurances that it was a one time payment. The next year they attempted to charge my card at the end of the year without authorization. Charges were reversed by the card company. In 2017 they attempted to charge the card again. It was reversed and the merchant was blocked by the card company. Beware

So you're aware, we offer subscriptions on an annual billing cycle, because we also pay the listing sites on your behalf. Doing this allows us to guarantee that your information will show up accurately on those sites. All subscriptions are set to renew automatically each year. Since we push and protect your data on a daily basis, the automatic renewal prevents any disruption in service. Auto-renewals are the standard practice for software services, and you have the option to opt out of the renewal or cancel your service altogether at any point. As a client, you should also have received an email notice 30 days ahead of your automatic renewal via email. If you did not receive notice, please let us know. I have been on board with Yext from the time the sales rep called. If you want a strong Internet presence and you want to be found on directories, but don't have the time or human resources to devote to updating and posting, Yext is for you!
Yext has been a great partner for us. They make sure that our listings are always live and are always available to help and guide us- morning, night and on weekends. They have been amazing!

I am still trying to find out why I went with this company. It is almost impossible to get any assistance from them. I am looking for a way to contact someone for a problem I am experiencing. Not a good way to spend your advertising money.

I was having issues with Facebook and the Yext Support Team (Ethan S.) was fantastic in resolving the issue that I could not get resolved on my own. The sale rep' call me and when I couldnt make a diction on the spot he yields at me that he spent 30 min with me and I cant committee! As I call back to move forward with the service I make sure and clear what is the expectation base on the sale pitch, I was misled to understand that Yext will perform a services for me as a Premium member. Which they are not able to... I ended up canceling my service.

After a year since I signed up there is absolutely no improvement in my online presence. Save your money and setup accounts on Yelp, Google etc. yourself.

I have done some pretty extensive research on the company Yext.com. Not only do they charge to remove wrong phone numbers and address listing for business, I believe they may be directly responsible for corrupting that info from the start.
Yahoo and Yext seem to have so type of relationship that allows them to continue this practice. Bing and Google do not let them claim business profiles.
I also know that Yext is in some way connected to other companies like applianceappointment.com and has a large amount of advertizing sites like local.com, superpages.com, Manta.com and a good number of others.
They are very rude when they call you at all times of the day. I would also be very careful entering your info on some of these free listing sites. They will just corrupt the information any way and then call you and try and charge you for removing it. This company is a scam, beware!
