If you can, choose to do business with anyone else. They do not keep their word on pricing and do not do what they say they will do like "calling back"
I have spent hours on the phone trying to set up internet and phone service with them. Terrible…!
I have had Xfinity internet for 3 years. When first signing up them, got TV and Internet. It took 2 months to get my account straightened out so that my bills reflected the plans I had chosen. Canceled TV because it was of no value. Internet was OK but not as advertised. I am now attempting to cancel. After 3 phone calls and one online request, a cancellation was finally processed, but Comcast billed me anyway under my auto pay plan. So, when you cancel service be sure to cancel autopay as well. I have asked for a refund but so far have seen nothing. I have called several times and each customer service rep acts like it is the first time I have called. Terrible company.
The customer service is terrible if not worse. Whether it's cable, or mobile, no one wants to let you speak to a Supervisor, manager or escalations. They all say something different. One hotel told us she would haveour upgraded phones shipped to a retail store and she never even set up the order! The next person refused to let me speak to someone in authority. On the phone with 3 calls for almost 2 hours and still no results!
Xfinity is massivly over priced for a service that doesn't work. I work from home and our internet is constantly going out. Customer service is extremely unhelpful as well. If you work from home avoid Xfinity at all costs. It is very unreliable and they will rob you blind.
Very poor service …we have had them for 3 years now and the duck the interne keeps going out. Every morning for the last month I've had to reboot the modem and then you have to wait ten minutes for service again…. Plus when I call them they always try to up my speed and tell me that's the problem so they don't really have a clue other then they suck
My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and embarrassing. They canceled my service after recieving a payment. They force you to leave a credit card on the account. Most Americans are struggling and don't have that option. This is Not for the people, it's against the people. I'm beyond dissatisfied. I wish I was still with Verizon. I never had connectivity issues and service interruptions with Verizon. I made a major mistake choosing Xfinity.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Xfinity is a scam! Never use them. Go to Verizon. I have canceled xfinity mobile in July and am still getting billed in October. They have not refunded any of my payments or the phone I sent back, even though I have documentation stating it was received at their facility in July. I have called and wasted hours of my life on the phone with customer service and every time they have told me they will cancel the account and provide a refund. Yet I'm still getting billed and no refund has been given for the last 3 months of services that we're fraudulently billed! They are a company with fraudulent billing practices. I have talked to at least 4 other people who have recently had the same issue. Do not give them your business unless you want to be scammed.
Just terrible service overall. Slow. Glitchy. And it never actually works. Over priced and horrible value. Went to leave a review on their website and some how once I was finished it wouldn't let me post the one star review
I spent nearly 1 hour on the phone with customer service one month before moving in. He said all I had to do was call back and my account will be good to go. Move in day comes and it was not easy peasy. I should ve known from the beginning when he said not to use the website because there is a glitch... On day of move in, we were transferred to 3 or 4 different people, most of which was outsourced. Only one person was very helpful and helped us to create an account. We were unable to create and set up our own account despite being "WiFi Ready." It took nearly 2 hours to fully set everything up, and then we still had to wait a few hours for the WiFi to actually work... If I can give this process a score it would truly be 0 out of 5. They say good things come to those who wait, so we are realllllllly hoping that the actual WiFi is great. We will find out soon! If not, hopefully we will be able to find another option.
Constantly have to call and listen to a robot for 30mins before finally getting a human being. Nobody in my house watches sports and a sports package has been added to our bill MULTIPLE times charges extra and is impossible to get this removed without someone telling me i have to downsize my internet. Xfinity is straight just adding whatever they feel like to our bill. Can't seem to sort this out over the phone so will be going to the store today to raise hell. I apologize to any employs that work for this dog$#*! company.
In the middle of a pandemic when my husband needs the internet to work from home as an Educational Specialist training teachers from our basement, and my children need internet to attend virtual school, Comcast just increased our monthly bill by $20/month! That's $240/year! We live in the country and don't have access to any other provider. My husband called to see if they would just extend our current contract or find a promo code to help with the cost. The end result was a $20/month increase and a 2 year contract. Then when my husband got the final email confirmation, the new rate was only good for 1 year and then increased again! Soooooo disappointed in such a big company that's clearly only concerned with their own bank account... not to mention our internet is constantly going out and glitching during virtual school and work!
This company does not care about the customers needs...they only value policies and procedures. When your stranded without a phone, you have to wait 3 weeks to get it fixed so fyi, get a spare phone if something should happen to yours. They don't care about if your internet out, or phone doesn't work, as long as they're following policy and u may have to wait forever...thats the service u will get. NO EXCEPTIONS! I would rather pay more money and go with a company who cares about there customers and I will continue to complain to the BBB to try and get out of the contact they put u in. Its been nothing but lies with this company since day 1. Be careful. Choose the better company. Not this one
Xfinity has the absolute worst customer service of any business I've ever encountered. On hold for over an hour on several occasions with billing issues. Their service and price increases due to promotions that are always expiring is a constant battle. Every 3-4 months I find myself on hold for over an hour with customer service trying to get my bill back a resonable amount. Xfinity really sucks and should not be able to rip off the hard working American peolple.
I left Xfinity a couple of months ago. I paid the total amount due when I left. A month later, I get a bill for $1.92 that could not be paid without charging $3.99 to process the payment of you paying. Another month later I get a bill for 18.08 for early cancellation fee. They subtract this $1.92 ( who knows what this 1.92 is for) did not subtract the 3.99 because that was a made up fee anyway. Cancel fee was 20.00. How do you have a too early cancellation fee if you don't have a contract? That makes no sense. I'm not paying it, they will just make up another fee if you keep giving. Don't go there.
Seriously do not do business with a Xfinity you'll be sorry. This good advice take it or leave it.
My brother died last Christmas, and I wanted to port his xFinity land line. To port the number, it had to be ported to a mobile phone. I purchased an xFinity mobile phone and initiated a port which takes 10 days to complete. After 10 days the port failed. I have initiated this porting sequence 6 times waiting over 10 days for each with no luck. After 4 months of trying to port this number, I was told if I ported to another carrier, it would take an hour. Today I spent 5 hours in a Cricket Wireless store with a porting specialist on the phone with xFinity. The conclusion - I have to port it to the xFinity mobile number and wait 10 more days!
Xfinity is the main internet provider in our area however, if they were not we would change in a minute. They are horrible overpriced, the customer service is terrible, and the quality of internet and cable is only so/so. This is not the forum to ask this but does anyone know of a different provider?
It's sad when a big company doesn't care about people just money... Shut my service off and I rely on that for getting my meds and dealing with drs internet is a necessity it is imperative that people have this service with doctors and people relying on the internet people need the Internet nowadays it's no longer a luxury...
I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years, pay my bill early, I needed a new phone for one of the lines, they ran a credit check, fine, but denied my request for the new cell phone, which I would have to pay for in payments added to my bill. Asap I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Xfinity service is not at all what they advertise. Have to run speed test all the time. 400mbs. Then they give you excuses like buy our routers and it will speed up. Not happy at all with there service and rates.
