It's disappointing that Melaleuca's political actions contradict their mission of helping people. In 2024, they contributed $5.5 million to support Project 2025—a move I cannot stand behind. After 12 years as a loyal customer, I've chosen to resign. I refuse to be part of this troubling narrative. Learn more here https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/melaleuca-inc/summary?id=D*******

Stay away from them!
January 8, 2025

Horrible business to deal with, sent me my back up order that I didn't want, lied to me and told me it had already left the warehouse, I called the next day and another lady said it Hadn't left the warehouse, I told them I didn't want it, they still tried to take payment from my credit card, my credit card locked up and said it was a fraud charge, after melaleuca tried taking my payment every day despite me telling them not to, fast forward after 10 times of them locking up my credit card and me calling my cc company EVERY time to unlock it, melaleuca sent me my back up order anyway and charged me for it,I then decided I didn't want my previous order from the month before because the products are not so clean after all, plus I had enough of dealing with a scammy company, so I sent that back then they tried to rip me off on my refund amount, over the course of 4 phone calls later they finally refunded me for the full amount, shipping included, I had requested it put back on my cc, but they put it as credit on my account, so called them again to change that, now they've tried doing all the above with the back up order I sent back, now I'm dealing with the last 3.85 cents they are trying to rip me off with. It's pathetic! Will never deal with them again

Scammers stay away
December 7, 2024

Sign up with a very convincing agent that told me I wouldn't need to pay any monthly fee, that I would ONLY pay $19.99 and pay to sample their products. Only to find out they are scammers. They go in your account and withdraw funds unauthorized fee for monthly payment. Contact them several times and all I got was them beating around the bush. Contact my bank so I would get back my money. Scammers! Stay away!

I switched my shopping here for everyday stuff a few years ago now and haven't regretted it at all. Thier products are amazing. 3 reasons to switch -
1. Healthier - the products are all natural and no chemicals.
2. All made in the USA not China!
3. Economical. Better pricing than the big box stores across the 450 products!
Try them today!

I have been a consumer of Maleleuca products on and off for about 4 years. In the past when I needed to cancel service there wasn't a headache. You just had to scan your form in via email (DO NOT FAX. IT WILL NOT WORK), and then your services will be canceled.

This last time I received a box I didn't need. I paid 10 for return shipping label and returned. I was told I would get my money back.

A week later I call and ask where is my money. They tell me it's a credit.

WHY WOULD YOU CREDIT A CANCELLED ACCOUNT?

I ask, they tell me it's policy. I tell them I wasn't made aware. They apologize and say it will take up to 7-10 days for my credit back to my debit card.

2 weeks later I call back. I still haven't received my money.

They apologize and tell me it's still a credit. I'm in tears at this point. Too tired to be angry. I am disappointed however. I tell the young man. He tells me I will get my credit on my card it will take 5 days.

No offer of retribution.
No offer of free products.
Just an I'm sorry you have no money, no gas and are running out of food.

I told them i must wait until my next paycheck. This hurts because I'm single mom of 3.

They tell me they understand...

NO OFFER TO RECTIFY.

Hello, this is my experience with Melaleuca.com.
I've been a MELALEUCA preferred customer for over 10 years, actually since 2012.
When I go to the stores in my neighborhood, I do not like everything in every store. I have not used or tried all the products in my local stores. Everyone has favorite stores and brand-name preferences.
Hands down I prefer Melaleuca products. Melaleuca has the best nutritional supplements I have ever used. I use only Melaleuca's Peak Performance Total Health vitamin pack and Vitality Calcium Complete supplements. I also have used their shampoos, coffee, snacks, laundry products, toothpaste, dish-soap, Etc.
I have not tried all the products the Melaleuca website offers (their online store), but the products I have tried are very good and reasonably priced in my opinion.
I Read the product descriptions, and I always read the ingredient lists too of any product I buy online or in my local "brick & mortar" stores.
Some people are allergic to certain chemicals, but the majority aren't. My daughter is allergic to tea-tree oil, but she loves Melaleuca shampoos and vitamins. Read the labels and ingredients lists.
As for customer service, I find their customer service to be excellent. A lot better service than you will get at any physical store.
For the people who complain about the preferred member backup order, they signed up for it to get the 30-50% member discounts. They need to read and understand the membership contract that they signed.
I have Called the customer service number several times and they were always kind and helpful. If you want to cancel your preferred member back-up order and membership, call customer service at Melaleuca. Then do what is required to cancel. Do your due diligence and be patient, and you can find the answers to your questions and get it done.
Also, People tend to vilify what they do not understand. Many legitimate companies are MLMs.
*** Only Pyramid schemes are illegal. ***
Look up MLM at consumer.ftc.gov, a US Federal government website. That will help clear up some of the confusion for most people hopefully.
PS, nobody and no business is perfect. Some companies are better than others.
Melaleuca products work for me. I happen to like and trust the Melaleuca company and their products & services.

I was told they were not an MLM and yes they are. They discontinued the product I wanted most. Then when I wanted to cancel it was a total NIGHTMARE! They sent me things I didn't want, even after I cancelled in November. Then they made me send in a letter and it had to be signed took me well over 30 days to cancel it. I sent back a box and then had to send back a 2nd one because they have a back up shipment ready to send you. Then they kept calling me. NOT WORTH THE HASSELL!

I've got no complaints of this company's product. However, I set up a back up order three times and, Lo and behold, I get a $70 box of products that I did not choose at my back door. I attempted to call the company via the phone number on the invoice-and it's a NON-working phone number. Super easy to sign up for a membership but very tricky to end membership. It was hard to find and then you have to get an email with the discontinue my membership form, print, sign, and return. I never received a product catalog which also made it difficult to actually decide on purchases.

This stuff does clean
December 7, 2023

My dad has been buying from this company for years ever since I was a baby. I'm 21 now, so it's been a long time. I grew up with it and I can say that this stuff is the worst cleaner ever. It cleans only surface level, but doesn't do the deep cleaning you'll actually need. And it doesn't block or mask smells. I live with a big dog and a cat, so imagine the messes I have to clean. There are better products on the market that actually do the job than this scam company. Do better, clean better.

Shady sale reps
November 7, 2023

Leah Melquist ( WA) is a capital shady sales representative for Melaleuca.
We had a conversation over the phone and she explained to me that it's auto-ship monthly, you can log onto your account turn off and on the auto-shipment, and There was no back for the order. Leah also said the shipment would take 3-4 days arrived to my door. Almost 2 weeks the order arrived.
I spoke to Melaleuca customer service in regard to what Leah told me. The customer service told me they do not have a system that I can log in to turn on and off the auto-ship, i would have to fill up a form to have my account suspended and there would be a backup order. I can feel that the customer service felt bad that their own rep Leah Melquist lied and tricked me into signing up for membership, so Leah could make a commission. Leah Melquist, you have zero integrities. I wonder how many clients you have done dirty to, and your tactics and ways to trick or trap a customer assuming melaleuca is the goddess product, years ago I used melaleuca it tore up my skin. FYI Leah Simple Green all-purpose works as well as Melaleuca with the exception that no harsh chemicals and no tore-up skin.
Advice for Leah Melquist. A reputation for honesty improves professional and personal relationships. Furthermore, clients who trust your products stay loyal to your company, even through tough times.

One time I spoke to Melaleuca's customer services rep who was a male stated that Leah Melquist was one of Melelauca's best sales reps... LOL yes for sure Leah is the best. President of the Liar's Club is known for tricking customer ( myself and how many others) into signing up.

This company keep sending the same products over an over and when you try to cancel a subscription the make it a whole process like you buying a house. Soooo ridiculous! Their link doesn't work so the make me to take a photo of my computer and print it and signed it and scanned and send them an email with that proof that I want to cancel.

I love Melaleuca!
October 19, 2023

I have been shopping with Melaleuca since February of 2023. I love all of the products that I am using. The detergent and cleaning products are non-toxic and economical. Their supplement line is unmatched to anything that you will find on any store shelves. They have the best popcorn and nutclusters too! Whenever I have called customer service, they are pleasant and usually answer on the first couple of rings. They have settled every concern when I have had one, and they didn't make me return any products. I recommend them to anyone who is concerned about getting non-toxic ingredients and improving their health.

Handcuffs and a lot of Smoke and Mirrors
October 1, 2023

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this company has so many handcuffs and smoke and mirrors about not being an MLM it's insanse. If this review is taken down it will be another factor to support my experience. I canceled my membership after countless bad experiences (my sister too) and just tried to unsubscribe but the system is so fast to get me back into ordering that I cannot unsubscribe from the email blasts. Just one more thing with this company. I feel like I am in a Yellowstone episode. I am documenting this review to see if it gets taken down...it's suspicious that there are so many good reviews.

1-It's easy to sign up online but they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. There is no way to do it online
2-The products, at least the ones I tried were ok but as in every multi level marketing scheme, they are way overpriced to pay for the different levels of commission.
3-The free shipping is BS, they treat it as a credit on a future order but there is a catch (see 4)
4-When you use your free shipping credit on your next order it does not come out as free shipping but as a credit on the order, which means you have to buy even more products to keep getting "free shipping", talk about s scam. I ended up giving up on free shipping

There is nothing wrong with the Melaleuca products but I do better shopping at Costco. For example, 5 granola bars from Melaleuca costs 6.29, plus 5% shipping. I can get 64 bars at Costco for 11.99

From the business

It’s often said that Melaleuca is a different kind of company. But what makes it different? What is it that sets Melaleuca apart from—and above—the rest?

Well, it all starts with Melaleuca’s mission statement: “Enhancing the lives of those we touch by helping people reach their goals℠.” That’s not just some fancy yet hollow phrase a copywriter came up with on a whim. It’s a deliberate and thoughtful statement, and the guiding principle behind everything Melaleuca does, down to the smallest act by the last employee.

Melaleuca’s goal is to help people achieve total wellness. To do that, it has created over 350 exceptional products that people use and rely on every day. The company with the best product wins, and Melaleuca has worked with some of the world’s top researchers to create better, safer products using a balance of science and nature.

These products are not only better for your body and the environment, they&rs...
